Funny how this business just uploaded pictures of their wonderful work (sarcasm ) I can't speak on nails, but eyebrows was a NO! I am picky about where I get a pedicure. No one wants a foot fungus, right? Well this place is more than acceptable, it is clean and their instruments sanitized. Their standard spa pedicure (I believe they call it a Hawaiian pedi) is great. Not only do you get a paraffin dip but you also get your calves rubbed with hot stones. I am a regular here, however in all fairness, I still must mention a few negative points too for this salon. GOOD: Their spa pedicures are spectacular! For the price ($25), you get a GREAT spa pedicure, complete with parrafin, hot stone massage too. The spa pedicures take about an hour, which I love! The technicians (except for one...whom I don't know by name. I just make sure to avoid her if possible) take their time. The majority of the clientele I see at this salon are there only to get a spa pedicure. I never make an appointment, but because of the number of pedicure chairs and technicians, I've never had to wait longer than about 5 minutes. BAD: Only 2 technicians out of the ones who can actually do a refill of solar nails does a good job. One of them (again...I don't remember her name) is too rough and will refill your nails (white portion) crooked. Another makes them way too thick. HOWEVER...a technician named Kay is one who does it right. If you're wanting a refill...ask for her specifically. She pays attention to details, is gentle, speedy, yet precise. I don't always have acrylic nails. In fact, most of the time I don't. But I visit this salon almost weekly for a pedicure. The pedicures here are the best I've ever had. Went in yesterday for a pedi-dinner date with a friend of mine and it was actually not that bad. They take their time on the pedicure and the hot stone massage was pretty amazing! I've been in dire need of a pedicure for a while since standing on my feet all day wrecks them and makes pretty rough. They have different options for a pedicure (mainly the length of massages is what they focus on) and they really take their time! I really enjoyed the massage, since I really needed it, and she was really gentle with everything. Now... I also needed a refill... and if you're going in there an hour before they close... don't go in for a refill. After the pedicure, I had another lady do my refill and my fingers were burning during and after she was done. I know that's not normal because I've had refills before. She did my refill in 15 minutes flat and she was in a hurry, so there was a small cut on my pinkie... but no bigs because she surprisingly did a good job. However, she was trying to rush to get us out of there though, so just forewarning you if you go in for a pedi and refill... don't go in close to 7 because they REALLY want to go home. So happy my friend recommended this place! I couldn't be happier. I have been in the hospital and then home bound for several weeks. I needed to be pampered and a major mani/pedi stat without breaking the bank. It was amazing and the place is very clean. They use big plastic bags in the footbath area, so it's only your gems. They throw the bag away after your done. For a awesome awesome price of $35-40..my mani/pedi was fully pampered with paraffin wax on both very and hands. ..hot stone massage on legs and a relaxing arm massage. The massage chair you sit in is so relaxing- i feel asleep. The ladies were so nice and respectful. I will be coming back again and again. read more

Amazing service and always a top notch experience! I don't go to anyone in particular because everyone I have worked with has been very good and attentive to detail. I love the pedicure spa experience! The chairs recline and also have massage capabilities. The hot wax and stone massage is probably my favorite. I feel like they spend a lot of time massaging which feels great especially for someone who is always on their feet! I wanted to note that I walked in at 5:30 on a Sunday and they close at 6 (which I felt really bad for doing so) but they still offered to do my pedicure which shows really great customer service and I really appreciated that. NEVER AGAIN! Where to begin with this place... those of you that are saying this place is clean... wow. This salon is not clean at all, I should have walked out the moment I noticed that, but it was late and I didn't feel like trying to find another nail salon last minute. I am fairly new to this area but I usually go to red carpet on hwy 6, but decided to try a closer place, big mistake. I had a shellac manicure done and it looked like a 5 year old painted them, it was such a ridiculously messy job I could not believe it, when I tried to tell the technician she started trying to file the gel off my skin! After all this and another tech trying to improve the mess the other made, they still charged me the full amount. So aside from technicians that cant paint they have no customer service. I go to Vye nails just to see Ana for my pedicures. I have been going there for years and I refuse to let anyone else do it because she does such a great job. The entire package includes pedicure, hot stone, paraffin wax and a foot massage and I upgrade the polish to shellac for $35. I get my nails done at another location nearby and the cost to get all of the above mentioned services is upwards of $55. If you want a pedicure, ask for Ana and I promise you that you will never want anyone else to do it. read more

Third time wasn't a charm; they've done a consistently poor job and I've finally learned my lesson. Reasons that I kept going back: The ladies there are very nice. You get hot wax, hot stone, and oil, massaged on your legs for a fair price. The place is located next to Target. Reasons why I won't go back: No loyatly card or opportunity to cash in on frequent visits. They talk and talk and talk and talk...to each other to the point where they don't pay attention to what they're doing to you. The last time I was there I had the nail tech CUT into my skin on my right-bigtoe because she wasn't paying close attention. It bled for a bit. (Final straw) Plus, some nails are cut at an angle. This is my second time here and both times have been wonderful. The first time I got a full set and pedicure. They were so quick and efficient that I decided to return for my nail refill and they exceeded my expectations. I like the classic looks that make people ask if they're your "real nails" or not, so when they did exactly as I asked I was thrilled! I've been to too many nail salons where the nail tech either asks me if I'm sure about how short I want them or just flat out refuses to cut them down that short. Also, the French tip nail polish I asked was done as thin as I asked them to unlike at other places where they make the line half an inch thick! What happened? This place is either amazing or horrible, and today it was horrible. She made me bleed from cutting my cuticles, she rushed and my nails were terribly uneven. When I asked her to fix it, she filed me down the the meat on several nails which hurts and looks terrible. Lastly, she wouldn't paint the sides of my nails so I asked her to fix that. I was there almost 2 hours for a simple mani pedi and it was $46? Last time I came it was $35? I was too upset to say anything and left after paying. She also didn't clean all the extra glue around, so I had to do that myself at home. Very relaxing atmosphere. Great pedicures for the price. Van is wonderful w/remembering how I like my nails & I get lots of compliments. This place is rally clean & they always use freshly sterilized tools in me. I originally started coming to Vye after a bad pedicure from another shop that resulted in two infected toe nails, with one needing to have an emergency ingrown toenail removal surgery. I'll admit that I had noticed that they weren't switching tools between customers & continued going, but that is definetly NOT the case at Vye. I love the leisurely atmosphere & the fact I can run in as late as 15 minutes before closing & still be waited on. The hot stone leg massage is the best after a long day at work. I have been coming to this salon since the weekend it opened. They have seen me through all of my life's big moments- post-engagement manicures, pre-wedding mani/pedi, and ALL of my pedicures through both of my pregnancies. The price and quality cannot be beat. Even when we moved further out I still make the drive here and they always greet me with a smile. The pedicure is a MUST...like other people said it's only $25 for what others would charge $40 for. I go get a pedi here every time I have my vehicle serviced at goodyear. The price is reasonable and they always do a good job. Only downside is that when they get busy they tend to rush through the pedi. So if you can make it during non-peak hours you'll probably rate them five stars. read more

This is solely based on the manicure. Pedicure is still heavenly, but the manicure was subpar. I have gotten a mani here on two different occasions and both results were unimpressive. A good portion around the sides of my nails were left unpainted and the coats were uneven. This happened both times with two different nail techs. The basic includes hot stone massage, hot wax, and hot towel wrap.The mani also includes hot wax and hot towel wrap. I also felt like the lady doing my nails really took her time. The best pedicure in Houston! $30 gets you hot stones, paraffin, hot towel wrap, foot and leg scrub, long and relaxing massage, and a non rushed service. Get there early on saturdays, they get busy and I personally enjoy a quieter salon. Their chairs are great too, different massage settings. About 3 or 4 years ago I stopped going to this nail shop because I felt like they were inconsistent and unprofessional. Sometimes the pedicure I received would include hot stones and other times it would not. I would ask for the same thing and pay the same price yet each time it was not the same. I also did not feel like making their customers happy was a priority. My solution to this was to simply take my business elsewhere. Today I was in the area and decided I would run in to have my dip nail powder removed as opposed to driving the distance to my regular place. I asked about how long it would be upon my arrival. I was advised it would be about 5-10 minutes. I sat with my nails soaking in acetone for about 15 minutes trying to be patient. After several employees walked by me without saying anything or checking on the progress of my nails, I made the decision to leave. After drying my hands off and realizing after all of that time my nails were no different than when I arrived, I said excuse me and stated I would be leaving. I left two dollars on the table. They responded by simply saying okay. No acknowledgement of the wasted time. This was a great example of how it pays to just stick with your usual which is what I had to do in the end. Obviously no concern for the customer is still apart of their dynamic. Hopefully others will have a better experience. read more
