Dinner for my teams close out meeting was perfectly complimented by Vyoones staff and service. The food was amazing. I wish I would have take pictures of others food and appetizers but just know their menu was impressive. We shared appetizers of French onion soup, escargot and bone marrow, Brussels sprouts, and crawfish beignets. My dinner was this seared redfish over homemade pasta and sauce with the same filling/dressing from the crawfish beignets. We were seated upstairs and there was another very large 15+ party so service was very "French" and slow. Who h bothered some of my team members but wasn't a big deal to me. So I guess park where it's free so that you can enjoy yourself and not have to worry about feeding the meter or renewing your time. We met the owner and her son they it felt like a nice French and creole inspired dinner at your aunties house. I will definitely return.

Highly recommend if you are looking for authentic creole food in an upscale setting. Reservations recommended. Service was great; the manager even checked on us part way through the meal. The salad is large enough to share. Lamp chops were tender served on mashed potatoes - a vegetable with it would have been nice. The duck was well cooked and not overwhelmed by "orange". Will go back the next time I'm in NOLA.

Vyoone's is a great spot for dinner with friends or special occasions. It's a charming restaurant which catches your attention as you walk through the lights into the beautiful courtyard. The main dining room is quaint and charming as well. Service here is consistently excellent. Now to the food, lol! I had the Poisson Et Pates which was phenomenal, and quite a generous portion. The redfish with lemon beurre blanc sauce was cooked perfectly and the crawfish stuffing was the perfect accompaniment. My friend had the Coteletes D'argneau Grillees and said their lamp chops were perfectly cooked and seasoned. However, they were dismayed that the menu stated it would come with vegetables in addition to mashed potatoes and it was missing the vegetables. Overall, I'd visit Vyoone's again, as it did not disappoint.

Went here for a birthday dinner. Service, food, and drinks were 10/10. I look forward to coming back.

Came here for the first time recently and it was a good experience! I loved how quaint and tucked away it felt from the busy warehouse district! The entry way is so great and a nice spot for a photo opp! I'm a local and this spot had been on my list for a while! We started with the crab cake app and the scallops. We brought our own wine and the corkage fee is 25 for anyone who is wondering!! Our wine paired great with the steak and BBQ shrimp. We also ordered the lamb chops which were pretty good! We finished with white chocolate bread pudding for dessert! The food was good but not the main star. It was almost great but lacked flavor a bit. For the price point I expected a bit more flavor considering it's "cajun flavor meets fine dining" if you will. The service was really great! I forget our servers name but he really helped make our experience great! We were only 2 out of 10 people in the restaurant and it was great! Nice cozy date spot!

Ok let me say this.... this place is amazing. From the cosy at home feel with the owner chatting it up and serving you like you a cousin from out of town visiting for the first time, to the impeccable food that provided a serious party of flavor in my mouth, to the cutest pass through a lit up alley with draped lights that lead you into wonderland of enchantment. I'm not exaggerating at all. I was not expecting the opening on the other side of the alley of lights. The whole environment was inviting and comforting all at once. The food, let's get into that. I'm currently on lent and fasting off meat and alcohol so we tried the escargot and as I type this I'm wondering if I should have eaten that. It does slug on the earth! I may need to repent for that slip up. They were served on a bone and the chef carved the marrow out and created a delectable sauce. The scallops were baked in something amazing, I'm pretty sure I could look back at the menu and tell you in what it was baked but I'll leave that to you. What I will say is that when, not if k go back I will order two orders of the scallop appetizers. My entree was redfish on a bed of pasta with spinach and tomatoes. The whole time my taste buds were screaming this should be blackened because I like blackened, so I asked the owner and she said that some of her regulars get it blackened, so the next time I go I'm getting it blackened because I'm going to be a regular. That's not all since I'm not drinking alcohol we had mocktails. I had a peach cinnamon gig and the second time around I asked that ginger beer be added and boom, that was off the chain! So much so, the owner liked it too. I said name it Dr Moctail. If you go, ask Vyoone about the drink. All in all celebrating my homie was great! I'm thinking of having my birthday celebration there in October. You guys should join me.

I always have a wonderful experience at Vyoone's. The food, service, and ambiance are consistently impeccable. From the steak to the pasta to the oysters, everything is always amazing. It's a great spot whether you're going with friends or planning a date night. You can sit inside or outdoors, either way, you're guaranteed a good time.

This is a cozy and charming French spot in the Warehouse District, convenient for visiting conventioneers like myself. The restaurant has a smallish dining room and bar, a lovely outdoor courtyard and, I believe, private dining rooms upstairs overlooking the courtyard. The entrance is via a cute walkway past the dining room. Vyoone is the (female) owner/founder's first name. The cuisine is French with some Creole and Afro touches. Longtime waiter Spence assisted greatly in choosing what to order. I started with the crabcakes and French onion soup, both were pretty classic presentations done very well. My entree was the Duck a l'Orange, a confit duck leg and thigh served over a mushroom bread pudding and asparagus with an orange-ginger sauce. Again, tasty and classic. The peach upside down cake was a nice finish. There is a sizable cocktail and wine list, but I had a mocktail instead. The courtyard was a very pleasant dining location. Spence was great, the staff who actually brough the food less so, saying nary a word. Overall a pleasant meal within walking distance from my hotel.

Vyoone's is definitely a must try in the Warehouse District. Not only is the space full of New Orleans charm with a gorgeous courtyard with string lights strewn throughout. There's two levels to the restaurant and the entire space can be rented out for events. Vyoone's has hosted weddings, birthday parties, corporate events and more. The food is beyond delicious as the menu is inspired by French and Afro-creole recipes from the owner's mother's kitchen. My favorite items include the famous French onion soup, the crab cakes and crawfish beignets. The desserts are also the absolute best- my favorite is the bread pudding and then the peach cake. The service is A-1, the owner is onsite frequently and is always checking in with guests. It's so lovely to have such a personal touch. I can't wait to go back for more of the menu.

Came here because I heard they had best crab cakes and it was really good! We also got the craw fish beignets and they were so good. Would recommend ask for extra sauce. We also got the scallops and it was great as well. Also the entrance is beautiful! I would have given it a 5 stars except for our waiter. He was not very friendly and made a mistake on our bill and did not apologize. I really loved this place but our waiter did not make us feel welcome. The bar tender and the host were great!

"Off the path excellence" Looking for something more local and non-touristy? This place will welcome you when you tire of Bourbon St and Frenchman Ave and want something friendlier, different and away from the hoi polloi. What's to cheer - Great seating options - up, down and intimate courtyard. - Award winning French Onion soup - Good escargot, which is hard to find in NOLA - Solid duck and scallop dishes - Really personable service - good wine list What's to jeer - Appetizers are better than the entrees - A little pricey - salad has waaaayyy too much dressing

This is now my favorite French restaurant in New Orleans. The food was great and inventive but also very filling and comforting and in surprisingly large portions. The server was competent and friendly and they came over to check on us frequently but not too frequently. Ambiance was very nice as well. A+

She was a bit chatty but still nice. The menu wasn't extensive at all. The waitress did a good job at selling many of the menu options. I initially had the chicken with carrots and brussel sprouts. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and flavored well. The chicken however was very dry. When the waitress asked how it was, I told her how dry it was and she immediately bright me something else, which was the fish and chips. The fish was hot, crispy, and cooked to perfection. It was tender, however it lacked flavor and seasoning. I asked for hot sauce but never received it. I finally decided to ask for a to go box to take the remaining piece home. The chips "fries" were great. They were freshly cut real potato fries. They were hot and seasoned well. My significant other had the shrimp and grits which he thoroughly enjoyed. As an appetizer we had the salad. Seemed simple and basic enough but was actually very good. I'm unsure of the dressing it was tossed in but it was just enough and well flavored. We skipped on dessert. We considered the cookie plate but since nobody could tell us what kind of cookies they were, so we decided to pass. The best part about our dining experience was the ambiance. The music was nice and the decor was vibrant and swanky . I also had a mocktail flavored with pineapple, jalapeno, lime, mint, and cilantro. It was refreshing. I'm glad we had a chance to check it out before closing but I can honestly say there was no "WOW" factor and likely I wouldn't have been in a hurry to come back.

We had the skirt steak and king Salmon with a side of fries and stuffed potatoes. The skirt steak was cooked to medium and it was amazingg! Pam asked how I'd like it cooked and suggested it to be cooked at medium rare. I couldn't do that since I'm barely starting to get used to my steaks being cooked at medium, but it was still absolutely delicious. The sauce that was glazed on top, as well as the seasoning of the steak killed it!! The salmon was also delicious. Very flavorful. The stuffed potatoes were ok, we liked their side of fries more than that. Drinks were tasty and refreshing. Worth the price. We also got dessert, a chocolate cake and apple pie. There were none and only one cab by the glass at $30, so we opted for that (that same bottle sold for $165...math doesn't add up). The menu does not have a lot of variety. No garden salad, so I started with the gumbo. It was good, but would have been better with some bread. We each ordered the ribeye medium with a side of mushrooms and a twice baked potato. The sides were excellent, but the steak was over cooked. To make matters worse, our server was not paying attention so I had to ask another to have our server or a manager come over. The manager came by and promptly took both steaks away to have them remade and comped us another glass of wine. Nice gesture. However, the second steaks were no better than the first. I asked the manager if he really considered what we were looking at to be medium. He assured me it was and held the table light by the steak so I could see it better. You can see by the picture of the second steaks that it was not cooked right either. When the check came, they comped one of the steaks, but not both. Not sure what their logic was, as neither of us ate much of either. Told the server the same and Mr. Manager came back over with both comped. Apparently they were trying to get every red cent out of the few people in the joint!

This experience is for people who appreciate culinary magic...(and don't mind spending an extra $50 to have shaved truffles cover your dish).
