I haven't had a professional pedicure in over 6 months. My last one left little to be desired, and I have a scar on the side of my right foot where the tech recklessly cheese-grated my skin. Not my choice of a place to go, it was my daughter's gift. So I read a lot of Yelp reviews on places near me in Mesa. I decided on Western Girls and I could not have been more happy. I was treated kindly when I came in and told to pick a color. Boy did they have soooo many colors. Wonderful selection. In fact, I was a little overwhelmed and asked for help in choosing a bluish-gray color. She was so helpful and we found the perfect shade. I didn't have to wait, as there was only one other customer and the other girl was working on her. Everything in the shop was clean and my chair and area around it, was clean, sterile, and almost "new" looking. Very good upkeep of equipment. I chose a pedicure package that included scrub, massage, callous removal, stone massage, hot towels. It was very relaxing. My pedicure was done perfectly. No cuts in my skin near cuticles, no mistakes in the nail paint. One of the best pedicures I've had. She was very kind and our communication went very well. I would highly recommend them. I was very pleased with this salon- she went out of her way when the color on the sample was not the color in the bottle She scraped off the top coat of the gel and added the correct color. I thought the lighting was weird and the correct color would show in the sun- it was supposed to be a mocha color that ended up looking purple in the sun. The color looks so much better now. She did not charge me any extra to fix it and it took an extra 10/15 min. I will definitely be back. read more

Very nice here, but they don't do full sets, only natural nails. My natural nails are very short, and I was really hoping to come here and get my nails done (I've had the place bookmarked for ages) but it doesn't do much without extensions. I was shocked that they don't do them, I've never been to a salon that didn't. They were nice enough to recommend a place down the road.... But that kind of made me sad. Perhaps someday (if my job gets less stressful and my nails can grow longer) I'll come back here and have a better review. read more
