Will never be providing business to this place again. If you think $22 is reasonable to get a single link taken off a $50 watch, then you must be crazy.

This place is the worst! I have come here for years and was always treated fairly until they got a…read morenew manager. The new manager is terrible! He takes breaks every 5 minutes and is often gone for 20+ minutes leaving customers waiting and most often they just leave out of frustration. Though I decided to give it one more chance yesterday when they charged me $20 to take off one link (a service that took only 3 minutes)! This service had always been free before but apparently is not now. When I got the money out I said that it had always been free before and the new manager acted like I was an idiot telling me they have always charged for that service. Then he tells we it's actually going to be 22.87 but when I questioned again he told me it would just be $20 after all. He then asked me if I wanted a receipt and I said yes. He then said if you want a receipt you'll have to pay $22.87. So I said I guess I don't need one then. He then left the money out and didn't put it in the cash register because I'm pretty sure he is pocketing it for himself as he knows the service should've been free and he wanted an extra large tip. Needless to say this manager ought to be fired! But if not it won't matter to me as they have permanently my business! A place that I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars at before. I will never make that mistake again!

I also spoke with a GIA certified gemologist in the area,, Who confirmed my suspicions: they were not an authentic /genuine place to do business with.

Upon returning, she rang me up for %150 of the original price, due to the watch being "more difficult than anticipated" (I was still out of the store in less than 8 minutes). She did not let me know at any point they were going to change the service required and add on the watch specialist charge. Had that been communicated, I would have gone to Robert Goodman, another local Zionsville Jewler, who resizes free of charge (highly reccomend him). Althought it was still relatively inexpensive, it was a breach of our contract and there was a lack of communication on their side. Which shouldn't happen at all. Furthermore, the staff lost a piece of my watch during the resizing (one of my pins) and had kept that information from me, until I spoke up after receving the watch back. Although again, it was a relatively small piece, the principal and integrity of the matter still should be held in high regard, even with the little things. After all this happened I asked them to honor the original price and was met with a no. Their other reviews are stellar, I just wish I was met with that same standard today, but unfortunately I was not. If you find and would like to return the missing piece, below is my email. mdktim316@gmail.com
