I always give a 20% tip when I get a massage or a facial because these people generally are not paid a big salary. I called several friends, and they also had never heard of tipping a nurse, especially when the bill is so large for an hour's treatment. I'm wondering if this is the norm in Myrtle Beach. My 3rd in two years. I was on 3 West. The staff was excellent. I was on a regular diet. The food was good; not fancy, not like I'd make it myself, but good! Foodservice staff were very pleasant. I worked in healthcare foodservice as my career and can appreciate what they do. The food was hot, or cold if appropriate, on time, and accurate. In any event, I'll be back in July for surgery and hope to have another good experience.
