Even after I asked for only the dentist to do the work, she still tried to pawn it off on the "assistant ". All about the money though! Expected me to promptly pay after two terrible visits. 3 counting when I had to go back in just to get extra glue of the temp out of my gum. I arrived at 11:02 AM when I got there, she said give me one second. We are very strict about being late because I was a little late to my last appointment and she went to the back to see if it was OK that I was two minutes late to my already paid for and already scheduled appointment. She came back out and said that she would not be seeing me for my appointment for being two minutes late, and not only that but they were going to be taking me off of my dentist schedule and putting me on a completely new schedule with a different dentist that I had already stated I did not want to see also not to mention me and dentist Kelly already have a very extensive dental plan going on. She said that Megan would be in touch but three days later there is no contact from megan. I never even scheduled this appointment On June 4th, my appointment was supposed to be in two weeks, but they called me on June 3rd and said they have an opening the next morning if I could come and fill the spot for them. I told them yes that I would be there. I also had already paid over $200 for This appointment and then they treat me this way for being 2 MINUTES LATE. I have been going to this dentist for over a decade nearly 15 years and to be treated this way over being two minutes late is completely unorthodox and very Outrageous I cannot believe I am being treated this way. My feelings are very hurt. The tooth that I was supposed to be getting worked on has been giving me trouble for months and I even Complained that it was hurting So for them to treat me this way after even after saying that I have had tooth pain is completely Ridiculous not to mention that The treatment I was supposed to be getting done would take about two hours So they booked me to be there for two hours and because I was two minutes late they canceled the whole appointment canceled my whole dental plan and tried to get me to a new dentist knowing that I have dental pain going on right now. so what did y'all do for the next two hours? Just sit there and stare at the wall. This whole experience has just been an absolute joke and I will never be coming back to this dentist After being a loyal customer for 15 years. I do not recommend this dentist to Anyone unless you're willing to break the law and run through red lights and dodge in and out of traffic so that you are not two minutes Late to an appointment. And definitely do not pre-pay for any appointments unless you want your money stolen last minute. I have never had a dentist that was a bold face liar trying to cover up the damage he did. He even told me when he placed it in that the crown was sitting too high. Not only was it too high, it was too big. I was having another issue with it as well from the time he placed it in. These concerns were dismissed. He struggled to get it in. Its really sad when you put trust in people like this and they take no accountability. Now that the damage is done he wanted to send me to orthodontist to pay more money. I can see why their overall rating on here is a 2. These people need a lawsuit. Im going to get a second opinion and go from there. I am taking myself and my family elsewhere where people actually care. As I said it's all cookies & cupcakes until something goes wrong. I am new to the Waco area and could not recommend Dental Station more…read more Embarrassingly, I haven't been to the dentist in about 7 years dude to a general fear and as soon as I came in, was greeted with genuine kindness and was immediately put at ease. I was almost immediately called to the back (waited about 3 minutes). Once I got to the back, I was asked a series of questions that gave the dental hygienist an idea of my dental background and naturally, my fear of the dentist came up. She went out of her way to explain every single detail of what she was doing, why it mattered, and what she was seeing as she did it. Thankfully, I had no cavities so I only received the cleaning but I could not have been more grateful. She was gentle on my teeth and chatted with me about random topics to keep me engaged and at ease. The treatment I received at this office by everyone, from the front desk to the actual dentist herself, was 100/10. I was not prompted to write this review in any way, shape, or form; I am just genuinely impressed at the level of service, hospitality, and hometown feel of this office. I will absolutely be coming back.

At Dental Station I have made multiple trips, they took their time with different try ons to make sure they fit correctly. I don't live in Waco but I do not regret the drives I had to make. Botched Implants twice causing lasting damage! First implant…read morecaused infection leading to the reduced hearing capacity on my right ear. Second larger implant crowded out the teeth in front of the implant site resulting in speech difficulty. Dr. Lassetter denied any wrong doing and mentioned her former partner was on the Texas Dental Board implying that I'll have no recourse. She mislead me to think there was something wrong with me other than the peri-implantitis that she said I did not have. I spent a lot of my own money to get MRI, CT scan, and the removal of the implant by an oral surgeon. She told me there was nothing she could do for me, yet did not refer me to any specialist/oral surgeon. After two years of pain and suffering, I had to find the oral surgeon on my own to remove the implant. After the removal, the pain from the inflammation of the implant site is gone, but there is lasting damage to the right side of my mouth/face.

That said, he did good quality work. And has a very nice office, will all the latest equipment. His dental assistant was also top notch and really knew her stuff. This dentist was excellent with anesthesia -- t was truly painless -- and had a really positive attitude, very friendly and "can do". I really appreciated it. Glad I made the change to "Heart of Texas Smiles".
