I was hesitant to use this business because they…read moredidn't have any reviews, but I started reading bad reviews about other rental businesses providing shoddy equipment and such. Wave Ride'n Rentals has brand new equipment, and they also don't have a specific location so they have several lakes they can drop off your rental at (they meet you there). You can do everything over text message so you don't have to call if you don't want. Just text the number showing on their Yelp page there. As for the waverunner experience itself, it's fun and easy. You can go really fast. You have to stay 50 feet away from other boats etc. The Wave Ride'n Rentals person that dropped off your waverunner will wait for you to finish your session and then you just take it back to the dock and he picks you up. He walks you through it so it's not hard. The only thing I would recommend is, if you go to a big lake, before you drive off in the waverunner, tell Siri to save your location (or take a screenshot). That way you can figure out how to get back if you get a bit lost! Oh also, they provide life vests and all that so all you have to bring is yourself and whoever is riding with you, some sunglasses, and your phone. We never fell in but they acted like that is a possibility, so maybe wear swim trunks etc. Have fun! Highly recommend this business. Great experience!

I reserved paid in full, then got a message about the jet skis being out of commission due to an accident from the party before me- less than 2 hours before my rental (easter weekend). I did not get upset like accidents happen i get that. The driver said management would be in touch to confirm refund. I sent the screen shot to the email and asked to confirm refund. Called the number on the website- not in use anymore. Called and left the message with the number on the receipt- left message saturday, sunday and monday- called tuesday just didnt leave a message. I also texted and texted the driver to help get in contact with management. Its crazy that i still have yet to hear back and there wasnt even apology for the inconvenience of the holiday weekend having to be completely hail maryed to entertain my kids. im still wating on management and a refund confirmation.

Josh really took the time to go over the map with us and let us know the places to go and the places to avoid. Joshua was awesome and so was Kenny from that booking process through to the very very end they were wonderful! As long as you arrive 30 minutes ahead of time to go through the safety briefing then your boat or jet skis will be ready for you to depart at your schedule time! Highly recommend! And we will be renting again when we are in town next year.

Wave Chasers were very accommodating showing us how everything worked and putting us into the lake. We enjoyed the day out on the Colorado River so much and cruising down to the Lake LBJ so much we signed up for a 2nd day! We will definitely come visit them again. The speedboat was clean, easy to drive/handle on the water and the sounds system had been upgraded. We really enjoyed our time on LBJ. Thanks for a great time for our family to make memories. DONT BUY THE ICE!!…read more We had a card holder stolen on a trip we booked on 4/20/25. We were offered ice and now looking back, it seemed like a diversion. A man named " Shaun" walked the bags down while an additional 2 men roamed the dock. My friend was distracted by "Shaun" (who changes $8 per bag of ice) while other 2 men were near the captains seat. Anytime we asked Captain Matt who they were he would walk away ignoring the question completely. Captain Matt kept saying it will turn out in a bag somewhere. He was sure to mention multiple times we needed to tip and encouraged us to figure out an alternative payment.
