It's not the closest brewery to my house, but it is my favorite in the area. I have yet to have a beer I didn't like and the staff is super friendly. Dog friendly, pretty regular food truck line up, and just COMFORTABLE every time.

Stopped in yesterday for a couple rainy day beers. I didn't get a picture nor get to enjoy their parking lot patio. With the beertenders suggestion I opted for a Mango Kolsch, it was delicious; thank you! I liked that there was a little sitting area in the corner. Despite the bar stools looking vintage and heavy they were actually quite comfortable. As I stated the staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was easy as it's just a small strip-mall building. Thanks Waconia

This brewery is located across the street from my sisters house. So when we visit, we walk over. I'm not super into branching out on my beers but my husband enjoys coming here. Close and convenient!

If you want to feel ~cool~ alongside your friends that can slam down beers as if they don't taste like licking a sink, look no further than Waconia Brewing Company! They have fun fruity seltzers that LOOK like beer but are not so you don't have to pretend to like beer!!! I honestly might move to Waconia just to become a regular here.

Great services, accommodating for social distancing. Opened a second room. Their list includes a variety of light, dark, sour, seltzer's. They have food! Pizza and small apps, they have con Hanson's pretzels. I like that they do first come, first serve. I like that.

Waconia Brewing is a nice place to stop and have a beer. They present a decent variety from which to choose from the Wactown Wheat to the Peanut Butter Porter. Not necessarily as much variety as some places, but it seems as they are smart to be putting out what their patrons drink. The service is always friendly and prompt. Very willing to let you try brews before you get a full pour. Once a year WBC invites people to join the Founder's Club. For $100 patrons get a Founder's size glass (4oz more than the regular pour), a sticker, shirt, and lifetime Founder's pours when you order. The setting of this brewery is fairly nice, especially if you are able to get the comfy seats by the fire or the tall couches along the wall. While there, depending on the evening, there's plenty of activity that invites participation if you wish. Parking is somewhat limited in front of the place as it's a part of a mini-mall, but there is parking on the street as well.

Logo on the floor as you walk in. Unfortunate acronym.

Great selection, taste, taproom, and staff - this is about all you could ask for in a watering hole. After opening recently a few friends and I decided to give this new spot a try. I've been to about a dozen different twin cities breweries and really enjoy the likes of Dangerous Man, Bauhaus, and Indeed among others. This brand new small town brewery can stand up to the best of them. They clearly have a great marketing team and also spent a pretty penny on outfitting the tap room with nice tables, furniture, two TVs, and logos. I've seen other small time breweries start out of the opposite way, very small with a limited budget and only thought about the tap room as an afterthought. The beers were very good in my opinion. I'm not a beer snob but certainly enjoy a nice Amber Ale or Wheaty orange brew. I selected the 255 Amber Ale and the WacTown Wheat which are two of their four flagship brews. The Amber was deliciously light and fruity, with that beautiful Amber color and easy drinkability. The Wheat was just as I expected, it came in a nice Weizen Glass(taller with curves), had light appearance, some carbonation, and plenty of wheat and yeast. The guys I was with tried the 342(not a big fan), Session BIPA(drank hard), and the 90K IPA(good stuff). I also had a Root Beer that came in a nice frosty mug. It was good root beer although I'm not sure if it was brewed in house or an off the shelf brand. I found two minor issues with the Brewery. The first is that when we arrived at around 8 pm there were quite a few kids(4-8yr olds) running around the place while their parents drank. Waconia is a small town so I'm not too surprised, but I would prefer that the tap room manager Dee run some type of an adult establishment past 8pm on a Saturday night. If the kids were a bit more calm and not running around yelling I would have minded less. The second issue was that the food selection is weak. They don't offer their own food and Waconia simply doesn't have many options to order in. WBC does have "Ground Round" as an option to order for delivery, but I'm not really a fan of that option. Overall I went with 5/5 stars since really this is an impressive new brewery. The most important part - the beers; are mostly very good and I'd imagine only will get better. The selection is great for such a new brewery as well. The tap room itself is beautiful, and the staff friendly and attentive(maybe even over staffed). I will be back here for more pints in the future.

This is a very good taproom if you can make the drive West you won't be disappointed. Good beers, good atmosphere. Nothing more to add.

Their cookies & cream, and PB&J beers are amongst my favorite beers in the world. They taste exactly how you would envision them!

Super cool vibes, excellent service and delicious food!!! They offer tons of craft beer on tap and great looking craft cocktails. I cannot wait to go back in the summer to enjoy their rooftop and patio seating areas! We started with the fried pickle rollups and they were super good. Great panko crust offered a nice crunch. I'm not a big ground mustard fan so pro tip is to order them with ranch (obvi). :) The walleye sandwich was also really good! I could have used a tad more tartar sauce on the bun but that's just me. The fish also had a delicious crunch to it and was very meaty. Once again, always get the fries w da ranch as a side. The sleeper here was the adult mac n cheese. Stacked with bbq pulled pork, poblano peppers, onions and more, this thing was killer! I always say if you see max w cavatappi noodles you know it's going to be and this was right there. The BBQ cheese sauce was super creamy and not overpowering. This dish was !!! Take a drive to visit Iron Tap out west in Waconia and you can thank me later!!

The blue cheese dressing on the salad was great! We liked the pulled pork sandwich however it kind of lacked flavor. It needed more salt or something. We asked for a side of BBQ sauce to "kick it up a notch" but the sauce was lacking too. The sweet potato fries were really good. All in all, we would eat here again.

The atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly. We tried 10 different beers and I was definitely underwhelmed. I think I really enjoy two of the ten beers. Grass Skirt Hawaiian style Ale. When we got this the tender shared to take two sips Back to back. She said the first one you will get notes of coconut and the second notes of pineapple. I do agree with the first sip but we did not get any pineapple on any sip. This was a nice coconut pale ale. U4rian Hefeweizen: I was pretty excited that they had a hefe as it's my favorite beer style! Welp this one fell short. No clove, no banana, no bubblegum, Just a simple drinking beer with not much going on. Summer Smoke Hefeweizen: okay! How did smoking the hefe make all the notes I was looking for come it! This is what I wanted in the prior beer. It was a very light smoked beer but, was glad to get those banana and clove flavors in this hefe. Henderson Cream Ale: they some how made a cream ale taste like a Miller Lite. Good mouthfeel for a cream ale though. u4ic Octoberfest: not a marzen...not sure what it was. Black Goat: finally! This bock was nice and toasty, malty, and full bodied! Dave's crazy ass chocolate Milk porter: this was strange. It was thin for a porter, not roasty, or chocolate and not creamy like a milk porter like it should be. Dave's crazy ass chocolate holiday mint porter: Take a peppermint patty and drop it into a glass of water. That's this beer. Thin and minty! Summerine Berlinerwiesse: They suggest you add syrup with this. They have options of raspberry or something that was supposed to make it almond. I didn't do that. If you need to add syrup to a beer you should have that on your menu. This Berliner was not tart and had a strange plastic aroma. Hoof and Horn Barrel aged sour Bock: Wow! This was fantastic! What a nice barrel aged bock with a very tart awesome finish! We loved it so much we bought a Crowler. They have Wing King attached with a full menu of wings, burgers, and apps to much on.
