Finally... FI-NAL-LY!! I came when they're still open!! If you check in- you get free baklava... whose going to say no thank you to that? I ordered me and my wife a beef kabob and chicken swarma. With over 110 people for my husband's 50th birthday, there were a lot of dishes to prepare, keep warm/fresh, and display. From the first phone call, the owner Antoine was extremely accommodating and also gave us great suggestions to maximize our variety. We had meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans to please. New local place that we tried this week. We got the tabbouleh, the sfiha, fried kibbeh, and falafel. Everything was good but I really liked the tabbouleh and the fried kibbeh, they tasted authentic and delicious. He is so professional and pleasant to deal with answered all of our questions and accommodated all of our requests. Come party day his team consisting of himself , two waiters and a bartender were very pleasant and professional to work with. They were very attentive to everyone's needs. The chicken pita sandwich is s bargain at 5 dollars. I could have had a falafel for the same price. I asked for the sauce on the side, since most of the time, sauce makes the sandwich soggy. He gave us the history of the restaurant and clearly showed a passion for the work he is in. He brought us some hummus and garlic sauce on the house. I have to say that the hummus here is one of the best I had ever had. Just from looking at it you know it's going to be good. It's so airy and light on the palette. The garlic sauce is beyond anything that I have ever tasted. I would come back just to order a side of this. 110% recommend this!! I had the shrimp kabob plate! Rice tasted like instant rice (that's a little strange). The beef was very tender and the original flavor was not overpowered by the spices. The Pita bread was the kind you probably can buy at supermarket. Very disappointed. $62 for this. The meat is minimal and overcooked. I could pay this amount dining in somewhere with better food and bigger quantities say for example Zankou. We got the wrong order on the beef shawarma and to add only 3 pitas. One pita per meal? The taste was basic. I don't plan on returning.
