This was such a great place for waffles. They are delicious and at such a great price. It is only about a 5 minute walk from the main Brussels plaza/center. They have a good amount of people coming in so try and order everything you think you will want to eat so that you do not have to go back and make  line again. Definitely recommend it and would go back. However, if you feel it is too far from where you are at, there are so many waffle places around Brussels so just get out there and enjoy. Go and get yourself the Figuette lunch waf (lardon bits, figs, walnut, honey, and brussel cheese)!! It's so so good. At €6.20 for a savory waffle, you really can't beat the price. Other places offer savory waffles in the price range of €9 - 15. Didn't have any of the sweet ones so can't say much about them. But please, do yourself a favor and try the Figuette. The sandwich waffles are definitely a novelty. If you have someone in your party who wants a savory waffle then this is the place to go. I thought the italianne was pretty tasty, but nothing extraordinary. The dishes are more novelty than anything else. I thought the sweet waffle was ok. June 4th, 2017 I had a 5 hour layover in Brussels, so of course I had to leave the airport for a little bit and go get myself an actual Belgium waffle of some sort. I was looking on yelp for a waffle place after I'd gone to see the Grand Place (Grote Markt), and this is right near the central square of Brussels. Place was relatively popular. Definitely touristy because of its location. Limited seating on first floor since there was so many people when I was there, but I did see signs for additional seating upstairs. I didn't use it because I had data, but the signs in front also said they had free WiFi. I ordered the Brussels waffle with dark Belgian chocolate and whipped cream. Cost me €5, but it was so good! Probably could have done without the whipped cream, but the dark Belgian chocolate was amazing. I believe they offered savory waffles too if sweets aren't your thing. There were definitely cheaper waffle places nearby, but most places didn't have seating. Not bad at all for the time constraint I had. read more

Of all the good waffles in Belgium, this certainly isn't one of them! I mean, they're edible...I guess. I got the Liege waffle and added chocolate sauce and whipped cream. The toppings were fine, especially at covering up the taste of the waffle. But the waffle itself was HORRIBLE. It was both dry on the outside and too wet on the inside! It tasted overcooked yet undercooked! The inside was doughy. How can you be an establishment that specializes in waffles that makes disgusting waffles?! This was the first place I went to to grab a bite after landing in Brussels. There was a line out the door, so I assumed only good things. As I approached the cashier to order, I noticed that the only people around me were fellow American tourists, mainly college kids enjoying the summer free from class. I'm not a fan of sweet waffles so I went with a savory option, the Kebab. Meh. It was okay. Not a whole lot of lamb, way too much cheese, a dab of onion all stuffed into a waffle. If I could give this place zero stars I would! I looked at all the picture and reviews prior to coming and if only they would have accurately described this place. I arrived at 11:30am and they were out of 3 of the 5 waffles, why you ask... because these waffles are pre-made similar to an American hot pocket! I understand the concept of fast food but wow a frozen Belgium waffle IN Belgium. Do not come to this restaurant it is not 100% homemade as they describe it is 100% pre-made. read more

I got a salty waffle, not only did I receive a different one than I ordered, it was not cooked properly and was partly raw. The coffee not tasty either. Even after two months of living in Brussels, I consciously ordered my waffle as a tourist would. Rather than keeping it plain, I opted to top the ultra-caramelized and sweet liege waffle with dark chocolate and strawberries. It felt so right when I ordered and though it made my taste buds dance, but at first glance of the finished product I knew deep down that I should have ordered my toppings on a lighter Brussels waffle. First thing after getting to Brussels was to find food, specifically waffles. This is definitely geared towards tourists and there's other spots close by that are cheaper, but there's tons of space upstairs to sit and relax after walking all day. They serve both sweet and savory waffles that other waffle spots don't. 4 of us got different sweet waffles and they were all amazing. Fresh, hot and crisp. The seating upstairs is great to sit and people watch out the windows and escape from the rain. Definitely a good spot to sit and take a break from site seeing. read more

We came here for belgium waffles and lunch. When we got to the line, they weren't selling lunchwafs at the time so we settled for the dessert ones. My husband ordered the speculoos and strawberry and I got it with dark belgian chocolate with strawberries. Both were delicious. I'm only taking one star off, because it took forever to get our order and we found other places while walking in the city center for 1 or 1.50 euros for the waffles. They also provided a great sitting area with free wifi so that was a big score. The only downside would be the price is kinda high for something so basic. Been here twice in two days! Waffles are decently priced for the quality. The dough itself is chewy and sweet, and it's toppings are tasty and not given in stingy portions. Decent preparation time, free wifi, restroom inside, lots of seating. Only thing that was a little inconvenient is that they do "takeaway only" by 6 pm or so, even though they close at 8 pm. We still sat and ate on the smaller ground floor area and they didn't chase us away. Definitely would recommend! To say this waffle was underwhelming would be an understatement. I waited in line for approximately 20-30 minutes, which was expected, reading the reviews. I finally got to the front and ordered and they gave me the buzzer to let me know my waffle was ready, and it wasn't even mine that was ready, so I had to wait a little longer (not a big deal). I finally got my waffle and was so excited. I took my first bite and the inside wasn't completely cooked. All together I wasn't impressed, but the waffle was edible and tasted okay. If you are wanting to get a Belgian waffle, maybe try somewhere else where you won't have to wait in line for half an hour to get a waffle that isn't great. read more

Let me just say, I was underwhelmed with the Curry Waffle. I felt like it was just curry powder inside and not at all savory as I would have expected. Somewhat too salty and too dry. Got here around 2 PM and there was still a pretty long line so the food had to be good right? The food was good and like it's name suggests, it's all waffles! The only gripe I had is that they had ran out of most of their savory waffles and only had about 3 options to choose from. Food comes out super quick. I had the ham and cheese waffle and a dessert waffle with strawberries. My ham and cheese waffle ended up being a plain waffle and when I brought it back to them, they made me a new waffle but I overheard the workers talking and apparently a few regular waffles had been mixed into the savory batch so a few people already had this issue prior to me. Maybe have better practices in place so waffles don't get mixed up and I don't have to awkwardly stand in the ordering line waiting for my new waffle since it's such a tiny place? My husband and I wanted to try waffles since we were touring around Brussels and we saw an advertisement for Waffle Factory. Upon arriving we found a long line. Turns out it was a popular place, and they only had one person working the cash register and one person making waffles. We waited over 20 minutes for our order. We ordered the cheeseburger lunch waffle, the Nutella waffle and their mango iced drink. The lunch waffle is great in concept but my waffle was overly cheesy and the dough wasn't cooked in the middle. I couldn't finish mine, while my husbands was fine. The Nutella waffle was good, but nothing special. Also because they were understaffed we had to wipe down our own tables. If you are in this part of town walk around and get some of the delicious smelling ethnic food from some of the other restaurants and then come here for dessert. read more
