I've never had a bad meal at Waffle House. Unfortunately I lived in Las Vegas for the past 35 years and we didn't have one there , so when I visit the Carolinas I've got to hit a couple. I recently retired and moved to Oklahoma and we have one about 15 minutes from my house yea. My waitress today was Hallie and she was so friendly and attentive and great with all the customers. Most of the employees seemed nice and said hello to everyone coming in and of course acknowledging the regulars and people they knew , what I love about a small town. I grew up in Bennettsville , SC back in the 70's and 80's and that's the way it was back then. Oklahoma is like that and it's such a pleasure that Oklahoma is the same way. I got the All Star Breakfast with Scrambled Eggs , Bacon, Grits , Waffle , Toast and Coffee. I usually get the Country Ham , but decided to do Bacon instead. The Coffee was perfect. I went to Waffle House in Myrtle Beach last month and it was weak and not good. Grits were very good , cooked properly and just the right amount of butter. Waffle perfect as always. Scrambled eggs were fluffy and good. Bacon was good and not overcooked. Who could give this place a bad review ? I highly recommend coming here for breakfast , lunch , dinner , or late night food. They also give a Military Discount. Also Hallie is cute as a button as my Mother would say. read more

So we ordered delivery on a Saturday night. Obviously not expecting too much. The food was fantastic. I don't know who drove it here but they didn't stop for lights it was so hot arriving. Waffles were perfect, bacon was crisp and hash browns were picture perfect! I'm not sure about service but their cooks are terrific! read more

I always enjoy stopping in for grits with cheese and a side of scrambled eggs. This morning seemed a little busier than normal for a Friday. So I took a seat at the counter instead of taking a whole booth for myself. A new guy was my server. He was friendly. Very accommodating. However, he didn't keep my coffee refilled. I won't hold that against him. I watched him call the Breakfast orders to the cooks. Bless his heart, he spoke so softly that they didn't hear him. I wanted to say, young man call the orders with confidence. Say it like you mean it. Due to this, it took a little longer to get my simple order. Again, He was really new so I was patiently waiting. The worst Waffle House ever. Burnt bacon, over cooked eggs. No coffee for 19 minutes plus, only customers in restaurant. Bathroom filthy. Had to clean commode before using. If could give zero stars would. Horrible experience. Yuck! read more

Order kept being wrong and instead of making fresh eggs...they reheated the eggs that they messed up on

Had breakfast at Waffle house today and was disappointed. My plate was brought out but my bacon was not ready. I was almost finished eating with no bacon yet. I asked the server to change my order from a senior meal to a one egg with grits with no meat . When I got my ticket, I was charged the same price, even though I didn't get my bacon . I brought this to her attention and she said that , that was the correct price. I don't understand how a breakfast without meat costs the same as one with meat.I usually am pleased with my breakfast, but not today . read more

We stopped in this Waffle House for a quick breakfast and almost immediately left. The one other time we went here, the parking lot was full of trash and the food was so so for a Waffle House. The parking lot is still full of trash, so there is some consistency. On our previous visit no mask was required, however on this visit we walked in and we were immediately asked, "you got face masks", by a woman wearing not a face mask but a face shield, tilted slightly up, providing little to no protection to her or the patrons. We could have stepped forward one step, sat down at the bar and not needed a mask. Considering the sanitation, size of the dining area, and the inability for employees to properly wear PPE, I'm not sure Waffle House managers are the best candidates to be making mask mandates. We promptly left and ate elsewhere. I'd rather drive 30 minutes to southern pines where the location is clean and the employees are pleasant. All that being said, it's a Waffle House in Laurinburg NC, what was I to expect. read more

Service sucked. There are no words to describe how slow their service is. They have no respect whatsoever!!!!

Visited in the past with decent experiences, this time was probably the best to date. Service was great, and the food was as well. All star breakfast was the way to go. Tried breakfast at The Main Table the next day and my Waffle House experience was 10x better. Will be going here more often. All staff were wearing masks and the cooks were good at what they prepared. Quick service got us in and out in a timely manner. read more

Surprised that the reviews in the past have been negative! Our experience was fast, delicious and with great service! Our waitress was beyond kind and anticipated our needs. They had a high sanitary rating posted on the wall, and all employees touching or prepping foods had gloves on. They were a fun team to watch and they all got along cracking jokes with each-other; it was almost a breakfast with a show. Cheap, delicious and fast. Only improvement needed would be to possibly wipe down the menus they were pretty sticky. read more

Against my better judgement I visited this Waffle House again with my wife and her parents. First of all not everyone likes loud hip hop music first thing in the morning. It's very disrespectful to elderly patrons that don't understand the modern music culture. In addition the place was filthy. Grease running down the sides of the stainless steel appliances. The counter we sat at had to be washed down before we were seated. I guess the idea of eating at a clean place where people are respected is a thing of the past. read more

Failed to meet my very low expectations. On the plus side, they were open when nothing else was, and the young waitress was sweet. As a picky and fairly healthy eater, I carry all of my own food when traveling for work. The one time I forget a backup packet of oatmeal, I end up far from civilization, Starbucks and grocery stores and have to leave before anything is open and before hotel breakfast is served. Haven't been to a WH in a decade and or two and was hoping to at least enjoy a classic American fast food experience and southern hospitality. The menu was was limited especially as far as healthy or vegetarian options, but that's not too surprising for the area. I ordered a veggie omelet, which really isn't on the menu. The nice server put my order in and the surly cook, a blond woman maybe in her 60s, yells 'we ain't got no veggie omelet. If it ain't on the menu I don't cook it.' Keep in mind, the cook was about 7' from me. Sweet waitress replies 'fiesta omelet no ham'. I guess that was an acceptable reply. But the cook had to go on and share with the one other customer 'one lady come in once no ordered a bacon angus cheeseburger. That ain't on our menu'. Couldn't tell if she was passive aggressively directing her dissatisfaction toward me, or just clueless to how this comes across to her customer-I later concluded the latter. Coffee was on par with gas station coffee, watery, bland , with tasteless. Sweet server then came by and swept floor at my table, including under my table and said excuse me while sweeping next to my feet. Then excused herself again while reaching over to add napkins to the holder on my table. Then from across the room shares with her colleagues that she wanted to be a cook bc 'they make $7.15 an hour and I make $3.15, I can't live on that, I got a child'. After this rockstar treatment I had really worked up an appetite. The omelet was actually pretty good except for the gross orange cheese, probably from Costco and probably made from melted plastic bags. Toast had way too much butter, actually margarine. Grits were good. Too bad they can't pay employees a living wage and teach a few service skills to the staff on making people feel welcome and comfortable, skills they could make use later in life in other careers that pay more, or at least do better in their current job. I attribute the experience to bad management, and think the staff is essentially well meaning, just a tad clueless. I will be packing instant coffee and oatmeal fin future business trips. Will not frequent a WH until the next time I forget oatmeal and nothing else is open. read more

Terrible. Waited 15 minutes to even get waited on and we were literally the only ones in here except for 3 people sitting at the "bar" area. Then waited another 10 minutes to even get our drinks. Completely terrible service especially when they were not busy AT ALL. read more

Well I've never had no problem with my visits to waffle house, yeah sometimes have to wait because a lot of people eat there that tells you that most people like it there, sometimes tables aren't wiped down because waitresses are real busy but all in all service is good and food is good to, cleanings, u see them cleaning all the time, so you should expect a little grim once in awhile because they're a busy bunch of hard workers for the most part, I have no complaints, far as music, people pick their own music, I'll keep coming back I recomend, thanks read more

This Waffle House is HORRIBLE!!!! By far the WORST in their franchise/chain! The waffle maker area looked as if it had not been cleaned in DAYS! We had to wait for a waitress to clean the table after a family left.. Problem with this is that she did not care to do so. We waited for about 10 minutes before we decided to encourage her to clean the table by sitting at the dirty table. She took a damp cloth and wiped it away... The same cloth hit the floor about 4 times during my visit... UGH!!! The food was NOT good! WE LOVE breakfast and was so disappointed. PLUS.. There was no orange juice because the manager had to make it.. NO JOKE.. She made the orange juice in her office at the desk and then added it to the machine... Not sure where sh got a spoon from. Go to Huddle House instead if you desire breakfast. They are cleaner! read more

DISGUSTING!! Dirty. Rude staff! We were there at shift change apparently. The first crew slowly dragged along so they wouldn't have to wait on us. The next crew wasn't in a hurry to get started.
