My family and I made a pit stop here for breakfast on our big cross country move. I just want to say, stopping here was the BEST "welcome to the south" I could've asked for. I'll be honest, I had heard of the stereotype of Waffle House being quite the show if you catch my drift. But from the second we walked in the door to the moment we left, it was wonderful. Exceptional service! Kay Kay was our waitress, and she was fantastic, so sweet. I also noticed several other waitresses going above and beyond for their patrons as well. A few that I could actually catch their name tags were Peaches, Susie, and ESPECIALLY Keyondra (she was amazing with this one family with a couple tables full of little ones). I hope they all get the flowers and recognition they deserve. And while they're the only names I could catch, everyone there was incredible. You can really tell they run a tight ship, while still managing to make it feel welcoming and like you're eating at grandmas house. And mind you, this was a busy Sunday morning and not a single one of them had a bad attitude or rushed anyone. The food was hot, and delicious! I'm bummed we're only passing through, because this location would absolutely become my go to place! Thank you for a great meal, but most importantly, thank you for giving this girl from way up north a perfect example of what this new chapter in life holds. I only visit Waffle House late at night usually after leaving some event. The menu is simple but satisfying, with staples like waffles, hash browns, eggs, and bacon cooked right in front of you. Our waiter Kaylee was sweet and got our food to use in a reasonable amount of time. I swear by their blueberry waffle. I usually get hash browns but didn't this time. Casual spot to get. Early sunday morning we stopped by for breakfast. The food was excellent. We got the All Star. Bacon was crispy, waffles the best. coffee was fresh. Food was perfection! I gave it a 3 for service from our waitress. We waited 15 minutes before she came over and got our drink order. Then she never came back. Other tables were ordering and getting their food. Still no drinks and had not ordered! Finally ordered and order took a long time. The people behind us even asked us what we ordered that we were not getting food. Not very great. Food took a mind bogleing 2 AND A HALF HOURS, my waffle was a little dry but alright, the decor was OK, they had a chrismas tree up. Not very good service,I also got coffee spilled on my foot too. I ordered a double hash browns with tomato's and onions. They brought me no tomatoes and no onions and when I said something about it, she picked up my plate, took it to the garbage, and dumped my hash browns into the trash, and then gave me a single hash browns with tomato's and onions robbing me. The time it took for us to finally leave was 20 minutes when we were waiting for two go boxes. When our waitress was back, my son told her two to go boxes and raised two fingers up to let her know, when she got out our to go boxes, it was only one. She had one air pod in making it look like she didn't care about serving us. And then when she stated to us when we were in the middle of eating, "did you need anything else" in a way that was really rude. read more

This review is strictly based off what meal I always get at any Waffle House. I'm weird I guess, but I like chili and cheese on my hash browns. The last three times I've went they have said they don't have any chili. They are simply not making it, because others have it when I go. It's just irritating when you can't get what you want and is on the menu. All the food is good they make is good though. I told my wife that this is the last time I go there. I will drive 10 miles out of the way to go to another one before I go back. It's sad. read more

I go to this one because it's closest to my house but through the epidemic, they have been absolutely trash. They don't answer the phone, my eggs are always undercooked and it takes an hour to make ONE ORDERRRRRR! Y'all need better management and better employees. I've worked restaurant gigs before AND we don't stop the money flow because of a couple phone calls. NOW IM IN MANAGEMENT AND y'all are going to continue to lose money until you can hire better better management and employees. In town for the weekend and this particular Waffle House is right near my hotel. The sign on the window says call ahead for to go orders, but as I was sitting in the parking lot calling to place my order before going to the hotel, I saw the employees standing in there, no line but one person paying their bill, and I had to call a few times before they answered. When they finally answered, the woman was very rude and before she even said thank you for calling Waffle House she was saying "you must come in to place an order" and hung up in my face. Just not my thing I guess. I was starving and stopped because it was really close to my hotel. The food tasted OK but not good quality. I guess my meal was under $10 so I guess I shouldnt be to picky. I don't think I would return or recommend unless you are on the way home from the bar and need something to absorb the alcohol. This place is your run-of-the-mill waffle house. A little bit on the cleaner side than most waffle houses. Good late night food. Always a favorite after a night out with the friends. I ordered the all-star special which is a classic and you will find it at every waffle house. Everything tasted good only problem I really had was that my bacon was really burnt. We've been driving for two days and wanted a proper breakfast. Waffle House it is! We were soo glad we can sit and eat in the restaurant at time when there is a pandemic. We enter, sit at a table (noted that the table close to our table are closed off, that's great) we also noted that the floor was wet and muddy from the kitchen to the eating area. We sit, we wait , we look around while one server tries to attend to everyone in tthe restaurant. One server sits at a corner table on her phone oblivious to the breakfast crowd. Both of them are wearing masks, cool! The cook was wearing a mask, cool BUT under his chin, not cool! Another lady who is cooking has a mask but she has her nose out, not cool. Both cooks are wearing gloves that are not changed from order to order, the guys cook even wipes the gloves to his pants and then gets back to cooking. Finally, the server sitting and was on her phone got up to serve us, gives us coffee, cool! Brings the cutlery and puts them on the table holding the cutlery where it goes into our mouth and gives us paper napkins that she held tightly with her bare hands. The other cook washed a bunch of cutleries puts them on a to go container dripping wet and our server went to get paper towel and somehow dried them with it and stuck them in the holding container. We ended up walking out even if we already placed our order because we don't want to go though our day thinking what we could have gotten from this very unsanitary place. read more

I have always had good service at this location. I arrive hungary and have a belly full upon departure. Come here for a good ole southern style breakfast with all the fixins, grits, hash browns, toast and eggs all at a reasonable price. And, they know how to cook over medium eggs just like I like them, with the whites done and the yokes just right, not too hard and not too runny. read more

Went in and three employees saw me and didn't greet me. Finally, one asked if I wanted coffee, which was stale and tasted like old gym socks. My best friend and I just got home from eating at this Waffle House and it is honestly the best experience we've both ever had at this chain. We usually regular at a Waffle House in Pelham but not anymore. It's worth the 30 minute drive for us. The food was better. It was amazing. Our waitress Stacy was wonderful and fun. If I could give a negative rating I would. When we went in we were the only customers in the place. The table was dirty and the waitress started to set it and my husband had to ask her to clean it first. When she gave us menus my husband's was sticky and had syrup all over it. We went in for chili and they didn't have any made. After ordering, we were watching the cook make our meals, he was a young kid with pants 1/2 way down his butt with his underwear showing, when he put my scrambled eggs on the wrong plate, he picked them up with his gloved hand and put them on the other plate. My MIL ordered a cheeseburger and he dropped her cheese on the chopping block. I asked him if he could use another piece of cheese and he had an attitude about how the cutting board was clean, but threw the cheese away and used another piece. My husband ordered his eggs over medium and the middles were like boiled eggs. We asked about them and the cook said well I guess I could fix more. We were in there 45 min and the guy NEVER changed gloves. I stopped eating my dinner after I saw him touching everything. When it was time to pay, my husband waited at the register 5 min and the waitress never came. So we put cash on the table and left.
