I really like the ambience, it's a really nice place, I think the only problem, is that you have to be in such a rush, because of how many people there are. Other than that, there's no problems really. The food tastes absolutely amazing, the eggs are really cheesy and the meat has a lot of flavor and the hashbrowns taste really good. Would definitely recommend. My server's name was Casey

Used to really like this place, as far as WHs go, but today it was ehh. All new staff, all the joy and happiness left with the old staff. Two people waiting tables and the manager just standing around watching as they struggled to stay caught up. Also, it does not need to be that cold...ever...

I was with my family and they were so nice with us and we had Quinn as a server she was so nice and even played music for us because my sister was having her birthday they need to be payed so much more God speed

The staff was very friendly at this location and provided efficient service. I appreciated the holiday decor and outfits. We got a waffle, side of eggs, and side of hash browns with jalepenos. I appreciated that our sides came with complimentary toast. We got the eggs scrambled and I liked that they did not seem to use too much oil, butter, or filler. Tasted like how I would make scrambled eggs at home ina good way. The hash browns were good but I wish they gave us some more. The toast was standard, a little too soggy but I liked the butter on it and the whipped butter that came on the side with my waffle. The waffle was good but unfortunately a bit undercooked. All in all a decent casual diner experience.

This is my first time eating Waffle House ever! The service was really friendly (shout out to Freddy and the team!) it was jam packed and although we had to wait it was worth it. The waffle was hot fresh and slight crispy. The overall winner for me was the cheese grits. Idk what was in them, but man they were the best I've had in a long time. Toast and eggs were standard. But if you have time to dine I recommend this location.

Okay- so the 5 star is for judging this by what it is--a Waffle House. I have eaten here twice in the past 2 months due to travel to visit my Hoo. One time at 3 am since that is when I arrived from driving and once at 5pm for breakfast for dinner with my Hoo. Both times I ordered decaf coffee and fresh pots were made for me. Food isn't fancy but it is good. Service was perfect both times. If you expect fancy or something other than good solid food with good service...you will be disappointed. But again, even with tip, our breakfast for dinner was 30 dollars for 2 people--I spent 16 dollars for 3 tacos and 2 drinks at Taco Bell today and it wasn't half as good.

This rating is a minus 1 star! Service - my family had issues with this location last year in September and decided we would give it a try since we've been craving Waffle House. This location was completely empty when we pulled up. Should've been a clear indication of what was to come. He started preparing food by digging in the ingredient bucket for my hash browns with his bare right hand and left hand still had the pen and paper from him taking the order. We saw that and instantly I said "I'm not hungry" to my family. Ambience - With an empty restaurant I would've expected a cleaner store. The food prep area and floor had shredded hash browns all over the counter and floor. There was lettuce and tomatoes laying on the bare food prep counter. There was no one in the restaurant so we didn't understand why the fixings were was exposed on the prep counter. Food- after experiencing what we did, it was apparent that we would be in for the same poor experience my family had in September 2022. So there are no pictures of food. End result- we told the gentlemen, we changed our minds about eating there.

While staying across the street from this particular Waffle House I stopped in for breakfast one morning on my way to work. I was the only one in there, around 6AM and was served immediately. The staff was talkative and friendly. One particular lady, I think her name was Loretta, was very friendly and helpful and nice. The food I got was good. I wanted chili on my hash browns, but they didn't have any when I visited. Overall, I've got no complaints - it was good and I'd return.

I loved the fact that the counter was clean and the silverware, although it had seen much use, was shiny and spotless.

Multiple layers of flavor and all the right textures. Visually appealing on the plate as well. Solid cocktail list here. I'm a big fan that they go old school with a hot toddy. The applejack brandy added to that is a nice touch. Service is excellent here. Prices reasonable given the quality of the dishes. Will be back the next time I'm in town for sure. Ordered a cucumber chamomile gin and tonic, which left something to be desired. We started with the blackberry salad which on the menu said it also included avocado but there was none on the salad-despite this the salad was great. Our mains were good but not great. The biggest issue I found here was despite our server being very nice while ordering she NEVER checked in on us after anything arrived, never refilled waters either. So although she was nice the service was not good as there were times we wanted to order something else and one of the entrees didn't arrive as it was ordered but our server never checked in. All things considered I think I would only come here to grab a salad or appetizer.

I ordered the steak frites, and every bite was fantastic. The steak was cooked perfectly, the fries were crisp and flavorful, and even the horseradish crème fraîche was incredible. I'm usually not someone who gets excited about dipping sauces, but this one complemented the meal so well. The bartender was also outstanding. He recommended the chocolate mousse, saying he "could bathe in it." After trying it, I completely understood what he meant. It was rich, silky, and hands down one of the best chocolate mousses I've ever had. It was the perfect way to end the meal. Excellent food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere made this an easy five-star experience. I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in Charlottesville.

The service was excellent throughout the meal. Our server, was absolutely lovely. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. She was one of the highlights of the experience. We started with the steak tartare. It was decent, but a little saltier than I would have preferred. My biggest complaint was that the accompanying bread wasn't brushed with butter or olive oil, which made it feel a bit dry and out of place alongside such a rich dish. One thing that was disappointing was the portioning of the shareable sides. The menu describes them as serving 3 to 4 people, but in our experience they were much more realistically sized for about two people. That was frustrating, especially given the overall price point. For our entrees, we ordered the ribeye, bavette, and New York strip. All of the steaks were cooked well, but I found them to be good rather than great, especially considering the price point. They just weren't particularly memorable. The ribeye, in particular, leaned a bit too far toward fatty rather than beautifully marbled, so there was more unrendered fat than I would have liked. The steak sauces were enjoyable, but they also didn't stand out in any significant way. They were well made, but nothing especially unique or memorable. Overall, I enjoyed the evening, the atmosphere, and the exceptional service. However, for a steakhouse at this price point, I expected to be more impressed by the food. Everything was solid, but nothing really wowed me or left me thinking, "I can't wait to come back." It is disappointing to have buyers remorse from such a nice restaurant.
