12/24/19 - This was the best Waffle House I've been to in Georgia. We were on our way to NC to visit my family for the holidays and l learned that my cousin, from California, never ate at Waffle House. I immediately stopped at the next Waffle House and we went in. It was around 7 in the morning and for some reason I was craving a steak and Waffle House has that on the menu from less than $10.... the steak was much better than you'd expect for that price and for being served at Waffle House. My cousin enjoyed her Waffle House and so did we.... this place has always been my go to when hungover and after night out, but I will def consider eating here during normal adult hours.

    Waffle, added butter and Jelly.

We usually love the Waffle House. Love their food, but this location lacked the costumer service. It was okay, but creamers were not brought in timely, had to use my son's milk as a creamer. My order was not brought as requested.

Great breakfast at waffle house as always. No matter which one or where waffle house is always consistent. Today I had the all star special I hate like a king. Lol. Very busy but we got the last two spots. At the end of the bar. Melissa was our server today. She was awesome and friendly. She was hustling. Today it looked like they were getting a store inspection. There were two ladies standing in front watching everything and marking things on a clip board. One would hold the door for you. When leaving and coming. Which was nice. She would smile at you. She seemed pleasant. She would not speak. She should have been saying good morning when entering and thank you coming by. Maybe she was shy. But the food and service was great.

    My breakfast. Oatmeal! Yea!!

I whipped my car into the parking lot of the gas station which the restaurant is attached to (so you know it's good). I pulled up to the drive through, placed my order, paid and received my food quickly all in one stop. They have very efficient operations! I ordered the biscuit and gravy with hash browns (knowing this is too much food for me lol but gotta test the menu!) and a sweet tea. We all know the "lords chicken" biscuits, well, I have been very frustrated with how dry and crumbly they are and wondering why or if I even liked biscuits. Linda's Kitchen reminded me what a good biscuit really is and the pepper gravy reminds me of my momma's. The hash browns are just right mix of crispy and soft, gotta have both, with a hint of onion flavor (yum). The sweet tea is just right too. You can tell they keep their urns clean (I'm very picky about this) and yes, the tea is sweet but not sticky/thick. It's still a drink not a syrup. I'm so glad I found this little spot. They had a line at the drive through and people dining outside middle of the week which actually is speaks for itself. I'll for sure be back.

The sausage biscuit and gravy went out the door as soon as I got home! The hash browns are yummy, next time I'll ask for them to be crispy! The server greeted us and took our drink and asked if we'd like any appetizers. We got the Texas Tonion & the complimentary loaf of bread. Both were delicious. Out of all the steakhouses, I think this onion was a contender for our favorite. Not greasy at all and perfectly crispy in a tempura batter, plus you're not having to pull at the onion petals to get them loose from the base of the onion. The sauce is delicious too, your typical zesty fried onion dipping sauce (like a horseradish ketchup mayo mix) but we should've asked for a spare. For entrees I had the Outlaw Ribeye with the seasonal grilled corn and baked sweet potato. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection. The steak was well seasoned and perfectly tender and juicy. There was no gristle or tough/dry spots (I get mine medium rare) and the fat along the edge was perfectly charred but still juicy and melted in your mouth. The corn was succulent and seasoned well, topped with a delicious spiced Parmesan and crema. The baked sweet potato was amazing as well, with cinnamon sugar and butter. My favorite pairing with a fat juicy ribeye! My fiancé had the half pound steakhouse burger and fries and said it was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. We did have to wait for his fries because they weren't done when the rest of our food was and had to ask our server, but she promptly brought them out and they were hot and fresh. For dessert, since we were celebrating our anniversary, we finished with the strawberry and cream shortcake. The restaurant is very clean, plenty of parking, and convenient to local hotels and shopping. It was busy but not too loud minus the usual screeching baby. It was my first time ever at Longhorn and we will be back!

I requested no bread, I still got bread, I had to put in a vehicle that I don't have in order to make a pickup order, I paid for it on the app, it asked me to tip on the app and I said no, then after picking up my food I had to sign a credit card receipt, with an option for a tip! I'm not a cheapskate, yeah I'll tip you if you're serving me at a table or the bar, but I'm not going to pay you guys extra money for me to pick up my own food. I'm so sick of this guilt tipping scheme these companies use. Besides, I tipped 40% last time I was there so that's that. On the app I requested no bread, because I didn't want to be tempted to eat it. When the girl brought my food out I put my hand on top of the bag that she tied into knots, which drives me crazy, and I felt the bread. I asked her if it was bread, she said yes, and I asked her to take it out and she also took the croutons out of my salad. So obviously I'm going for a low carb option, So I ordered the lemon garlic chicken, a Caesar salad, cuz it wouldn't let me pick asparagus like I could have if I sat down at the restaurant, and brussel sprouts. I ate a brussel sprout, it tastes sweet, and come to find out there's 27 g of sugar. Half of them are hard, they weren't roasted long enough, but it doesn't make a difference because I'm not going to eat them anyways. I ate a couple soft ones, and tossed the rest. The salad was a salad. Shaved parmesan on top, that was nice. The chicken was so-so. Kind of lackluster, but that's what I get for ordering chicken from a steakhouse, similar to how some hyper vegan would come in here, and write a bad review because they didn't have their boba smoothie. It was okay, but I personally wouldn't recommend getting anything else other than steak here. I was going to go for the salmon, but I didn't. Steak it is for me the next time I guess, or just maybe I'll pop back over to outback across the street. ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149.
