Poor customer service they would not say hello or nothing when we went it and sat down and waited about 10 mins they didn't bring any coffee or water a person came in after us they waited on them not us we was there before they came in. This place is good , our food was great and our waitress was amazing she was super nice ,checked on us a lot , and she was very funny. The only problem I had was the size of the Waffle House (I know this size is normal for all waffle houses) I feel like the owner (ceo) of Waffle House should change the size and make it bigger.Its probably this size to give it a warm cozy feeling but this place can get very full. Came about 10pm. We were greeted by a boy, who appeared to be the cook and a few servers. The cook said "Welcome to Waffle House, home of the Awful Waffle". Our waitress was friendly. It was her first day. She was very polite and patient with the kids. We had 2 hot chocolates, sweet tea and a coffee. She brought out our drinks and the kids hot chocolate were in mugs. I sent those back for cups with lids. The coffee was good and the tea was sweet. For food we had 3 orders of bacon, 3 waffles, 2 eggs over medium, 1 order of grits and wheat toast. The waffles were really good, bacon, eggs and toast were ok nothing to write home about. The grits were disgusting, a cold lumpy mess. I could barley melt the side of butter. The waitress was very helpful with getting our order to go. $30 including a $6.00 tip. Would only go back if I had no other choice. read more

Driving to Florida on back roads from lower Alabama and we were very hungry as there has been no where to stop. It was later but we still wanted breakfast food. My wife and I usually stop at a Cracker Barrel for breakfast food but none around. The staff at this location were wonderful, cheery and funny. The food is all about the same at most WH's but sometimes it is bad. The food here was very good and served quickly. Glad we found this place on our trip South. read more

Staff was courteous, professional, food as always was good, and price was affordable. What I did not like was the latest trend in paring down the menu. Waffle House has built a far reaching food empire based on the same menu for years and years. Now, over half of the menu is missing. They will tell you they still have items like pork chops, omelets, even some waffles, but they are no longer on the menu. Next, they will eliminate them all together. Also they have now started wanting you to order on line. Maybe You could send me a picture of the Bill, and I could send you a picture of the check. Stopped here on a road trip. I had pork chops with hash browns mixed with sautéed mushrooms. My husband had a cheese omelet. They threw some ham in. Better quality than most Waffle Houses. Service was excellent and these guys here are fast. Not a bad rest stop with a clean toilet. read more

Seriously, what's not to love about a waffle house? They greet you will a friendly hello, they are nice folk and the food is consistent from one location to another. They have also taken the hash brown to several new levels. My fav remains the pecan waffle, juice, coffee and as many variations of hash browns as i can stand on that particular day. read more
