My kids loved all the food. Side note of the kindness the owners and staff showed, I was stranded with 4 kids in the hot sun. Our car had died. They were nice enough to get someone get jump cables from their house to help us jumpstart our car. All while running a business during lunch hour. I am so thankful. Thank you for amazing food. came in for father's day and i really wanted the crispy egg noodles. they weren't too busy so we were seated right away. the restaurant is cozy and welcoming and our server was very kind and sweet. we ordered the crispy noodles and pho. crispy noodles was everything i wanted. it was crispy, good sauce, and lots of veggies and meat. it reminded me of home. the pho was delicious and the portion size was huge for the price. this is a great hidden vietnamese restaurant and we had driven 30 minutes to come here. it was absolutely delicious and well be back to try other items on the menu! read more

Happened to be in this small town and so I decided to try the boba at this pho place. Being a restaurant, I didn't have very high expectations for the boba, and I didn't try any meals so I can't talk for that. They only have four or five flavors of tea, and no plain black milk tea. The closest things were Thai tea and jasmine. I ended up going with Thai tea 50% sweet with boba. I'm used to black milk tea, but the Thai tea was actually better than the rest of the mid milk tea in the Florida panhandle that I've tried so far. The bobas were just average, not great, but not hard or gross either. The staff was very friendly, even though I had to walk back out to get cash, as they don't accept card for purchases under $10. My family ate here for a late lunch and we loved it. The ambience in the restaurant is nice, and it appears very clean. Our waitress was very bubbly and friendly. She played peekaboo with my infant son and offered him a treat, which was very kind of her. The staff were super accommodating to my mom's dietary preferences, allowing her to sub more vegetables instead of noodles. We were all pleased with our dishes, everything was really fresh and tasty. Food was really good. I was very surprised to be honest. I ordered the P1 (pho) requested my pho spicy and it was just perfect. My boba tea was great. We also ordered the spring rolls (really yummy) and for my daughters I ordered a chicken breast and white rice. They are picky eaters but now they can't wait to go back. Service was outstanding!! Everyone was really nice there and personal. It was a quiet place, some music in the background but not to the point where you cannot have a decent conversation. I have been coming here since they opened, at least a couple times a month. At first the service was great, now it is horrible. The people who work here do not understand even a little English. Trying to ask questions is painful, and ridiculous. But I've accepted it as the new norm. What I cannot accept is that they charge more than what the menu says. The menu clearly says ADD ONS, and list prices. When you choose to get an add on they tell you that instead of $4 like it says they actually are charging $10. When you ask why the menu says different they do not care. Tell them that you won't be back and that's fine. They are willing to let you not come back even when you are a great customer that they know by sight. The place is empty and never anyone in there but they still don't care. CHANGE YOUR MENU! Don't just make prices up as you go along. You shouldn't say one price and then try to charge 2X THAT AMOUNT. Won't be back. Which is sad because I have supported them since the beginning. OK, I'm super happy to report. What a great experience I just had at V Pho. Defuniak Springs is not known as being a very multicultural place. But is known for its beautiful old southern downtown, antique architecture which surrounds a beautiful lake. V Pho is located in the heart of town. I couldn't help but notice how immaculate and clean the restaurant is, really nice cozy atmosphere. I think I was greeted by everyone on staff including the owner, Mrs. V and partner. Super friendly staff. I had the Special Pho with beef, meatballs, and tripe, it came with all the standard sprouts, jalapeños and fresh herbs to add in. It was amazing! Great subtle flavors of star anise, and cinnamon which compliments the yummy broth. Grilled beef ribs were excellent, spring rolls were fabulous and soft special noodles were delicious. I've got snacks for the week. Do yourself a favor and get ya some, you won't be disappointed. read more

As a native to the area, in desperate need of a different place to eat, I was very excited to see a new restaurant pop up. I have eaten here several times now with different experiences but on average, the food is average. Com Dax Biet - the rice was so old that I had to cut into it with a knife, chop sticks would pick up the whole pile. The grilled shrimp, overcooked as the meat would not easily pull out of the tail. Crispy Egg Rolls I was told were super fresh and was the reason as an appetizer they showed up after my entree. Either they were old or over cooked as they shattered when I cut into them. A new restaurant in our little town. I never wanted to go there because I have never had Vietnamese food, But a friend invited me so I said sure, if you'll walk me through the selection. A very nice, tasteful atmosphere. Not overpowering ethnic decor. The waiter, Nathen, was super . I informed him that this was my first time eating there. He was very helpful and patient. Made detour from our normal route home from our regular donation to the Biloxi Casino fund! Came though DFS only to check this place out. I was really surprised to have lady in charge recognize me from Pho Time in Enterprise, AL. Their families now have two locations with slightly different names but essentially the same menu. The chef and owner came from kitchen to talk sice I had spoken to her when she was in Enterprise. I still give them most of my Lemon Grass shortly before our first frost and recently gave them a glass of well rooted Thai Basil plants. They have really done a good job of renovation on this place. We had the Bun Dac Biet and crispy noodle nest with chicken and vegetables. Both very good just like here. We will stop on our next donation trip to Biloxi. read more

My daughter and I ate here shortly after they opened, the staff was fast and friendly. The food was a little bland. I had to bring my soup home and add some seasoning to it. The only seasoning I could taste before than was ginger they advertised that they sold a certain tea And it was on the menu but when we ordered it they told us they don't have the ingredients to make yet so that was kind of confusing. Maybe they have fixed that issue by now . I would definitely try this restaurant again I'm sure it was new and they just had a few kinks to work out, my daughter had the shrimp and noodles hers tasted great.
