Tonight I found hunger clawing within me and since it was pushing midnight, my choices were limited. I found this conveniently just off I-65 and was greeted by the personable Shayna, who made me feel welcome and had a plate of food before me in no time flat. I have come to the conclusion that the reason so many of my fellow truckdrivers love WH so much is because it reminds them of the crappyness at the big chain truckstops. The food sucks and the service has the same "screw you you. Eat and get out" attitude. I don't usually go to WF but where I was this morning it either that or just as crappy fast food. Besides. During my life, I have eattin' at many chain restaurants which specialized in diffident varieties. My experience has been that some are HORRIBLE, some are OK, and some are FANTASTIC!!! Fortunately for me this experience was at a WAFFLE HOUSE in Cullman, AL. This place does not have any special dishes or extravagant meals, but what it does have is a wonderful crew working there that possess culinary talents that you would expect from a Master Chief! If TEN (10) Star ratting would be possible they would deserve twenty (20) Stars!! The grill Lady, Lori I believe her name is, was an artist. I have never, ever seen a line cook effectively manage a full grill inclusiv e of pots and pans full of food being cooked and not one order was wrong! I had the Fiesta Omelet with a side of Burt's Chili and it was fantastic! The omelet was light and fluffy and exploding with ingredients, no grease dripping on the plate just EXCELLENT! The Burt's Chili tasted great, maybe because I haven't eaten it in a loooong time but regardless it was awesome as well. Topping this experience off was my server Tabitha was all over it as well. Keeping the coffee full, being pleasant, even while taking phone orders and having a packed house of hungry customers. Physical location was super clean as were the bathrooms. This place is just the bottom ring of waffle houses a way of just pure restaurants in general the waitress was all nice and friendly but I heard the manager just talk to her like pure dirt I mean I've never sit there and had to listen to a manager talk that way to an employee her name was Michelle I think that was a bad enough she was sitting there yelling from the back room the rest the time and anyone and everyone who is in hearing distance and he just ruin the complete experience for me read more

Absolute worst Waffle House I have ever been to. I do not leave bad reviews often. Sat at the bar for 20 minutes without anyone even acknowledging us, they looked at us many times but never even said hello. Our "waitress" greeted us with a grunt and a note pad. After we ordered she grunted again and walked off. Never said a single word. Finally after 15 mins we got our food. We ate it in about 10 minutes. We then tried to pay and stood in line behind one single person waiting to get our ticket while the waitress had to stand there and add up the check in her head i'm guessing. Both the only waitress and cook complained about people acting like they were "robots". How dare we expect you to do your very simple job. Come here if you want the worst service ever. The service was decent but the tea wasn't okay and when we asked to exchange it for a water they were still going to charge us for the sweet tea. All I got was eggs and toast. My eggs had shells in it. I wasn't very impressed because they weren't busy at all. Also while we were leaving the building we look back through the windows the girl who took our order was staring at us and whispering to a coworker, the coworker then proceeded to look for us and they both watched us get in the car. read more

I wouldn't eat here again if someone paid me! Manager is super rude and does not care about customer service!! Not only was she rude to my husband but another time we came, she was rude to an older gentleman that was waiting for his family to walk in the door from the car.
