Honestly, whenever I see those square yellow boxes with those black block letters I get a feeling similar to that of a small child waking up on Christmas Day! I love Waffle House. I know that I am going to get a great meal, for not a lot of money and an interesting collection of folks to talk to. Rarely have I ever sat down at a meal without leaving full, happy and ready to take the next step in life. It's always the same for me. Large OJ, Pecan Waffle, scrambled eggs, hash browns covered smothered and diced, sliced bacon... hold the toast. Sure, I could get something else, but, when you found perfection why stray off into unknown territory? Do they have the fanciest silverware? No. Do they have the nicest plates? No. But, do those pecan waffles damn near bring me to tears every time because they are just amazing? You're damn right they do! I can feel my mouth watering just thinking about it. There is nothing like a warm fresh pecan waffle. Absolutely nothing like it! The other aspect of a Waffle House I love is the people that work there. They are usually long time employees who seem to genuinely enjoy what they do. There's always an interesting story going around between the staff and most are talkative if you give them the chance. You never know what will be on the jukebox. You never know what the crowd will be like. But the one thing you can count on is a great meal and a staff of interesting caring people! read more

I eat at this restaurant every Sunday morning. The food quality is consistently good and the staff is always cheerful and happy to provide anything that they can. Frequent coffee refills are a must which they accommodate their customers on and the grits are especially good. read more

Our server was Lisa. She was super nice and even though she was new, she did an awesome job. She shared the "other menu" and suggested the special Waffle House sauce for our sandwiches. I've been to a lot of Waffle Houses in my life; all of them good, but this one was exceptional. Before I even got through the door, I could see the employees (Brittany and Sharla) sanitizing the door handles and other surfaces, which was definitely comforting to see during this outbreak. Those gals were so friendly and absolutely hilarious. And throughout my brief stay, it was obvious that they took cleanliness very seriously. The food was excellent! I had a chocolate chip waffle with hash browns and grits (all cooked to perfection by the lovely Sharla). The food was very satisfying and left me feeling warm and happy. This place is kind of like the real life equivalent of the little tavern in a video game where you stop during a long journey, and the sweet little hostess replenishes your health and energy meters before you go off to do some epic adventuring. Conclusion: 5/5, left with a lil boost of love in my heart, feeling like I'm finally ready to fight that giant spider and save the village. read more

It was a Waffle House so I did not expect a clean place, decent food, or to leave happy. They are places that taste and decor appeal to their average aged 60yr old clientele, and their is no reason I should have been there. I know! This is not a place for me, but if you are a place that thrives of below average mediocrity, one might think you would get some form of costumer service. 1 star is based on the terrible wait and kitchen staff alone. Multiple empty booths were piled with plates when we came in, and we waited for a while for one of the few staff members standing around talking about hickies to acknowledge us or clear off a place to for us to sit. We finally sat after we decided to clean off a booth ourselves, grab menus, and our own silverware. At this point the kitchen staff at full volume began yelling nonsense at each other. When we got our food, it was thrown in front of us in order for the staff to continue their conversation. When getting up to pay at the register that had three people standing around it, looking at us by the way, we finally had to speak up and say we want to pay. Then the three began to argue back and forth saying, "I'm not going to do it. You do it." We are trying to give you money! And the last bit... 2 of the booths were still stacked with the original plates we walked in with. read more

Omg. Millersville? More like CRACKVILLE. This is by far the worst Waffle House I have ever been too. I highly DO NOT recommend this Waffle House. Our waitress did meth & it was OBVIOUS. She was pale white, with bruises on her arms so she wore a jacket to hide it, even though it was hot in there. She had the shakes SO incredibly bad that I had to make my own hot chocolate. Lol nasty. Not a big fan of waffle houses in general, but this one was worth going back. We had mama's boy Justin as our server. He was just the sweetest server. Everyone seemed friendly and to be having a good time. I ordered the hash brown breakfast bowl with gravy, get the gravy when you go, it's pretty darn good. Food came out fast and just perfect, big portions. We ate around 9 and wasn't hungry until almost dinner time. I will definitely be going back to this location when in town. read more

My Friends and I took a weekend getaway to Goodletsville, TN. We were staying at the Nashville North KOA. One of the girls with us never had been to a Waffle House. We decided to go in for Breakfast 5-28-17. We sat ourselves down in a booth by the window. We were greeted by a young man named Justin. He asked for our drink orders and quickly returned with our drinks. We then ordered our food. Our waiter Justin was very friendly. I will now refer to him as "Sweet Baby Justin". Sweet Baby Justin promptly brought us our food. He checked on us multiple times and even conversed with our table. We even came back the next morning for breakfast but noticed he wasn't there so we left. I had the hash brown bowl which was delicious. If you go to this Waffle House and you see Sweet Baby Justin, please remind him to write his name on the back of his tickets. read more

I couldn't tell if I was at the club or the Waffle House . Staff was extremely loud and annoying dancing and singing with the jukebox way too loud. Another couple had to yell over all the "partying behind the counter" just to get some bacon with his order. Don't get me wrong I like an upbeat atmosphere but this was way out of line, it was like a personal party was going on. And they were oblivious to how annoyed we and the other couple in there were. After waiting for 10 minutes for one of the six employees to clean the only available table, we finally just sat at it thinking maybe that would get their attention. Nope. We sat there for five more minutes before the table was cleared. And no, they weren't that busy...I repeatedly saw employees just standing around and whispering to one another. Another man that came in after us was so frustrated he gave up and left. Then the waitress forgot that I'd ordered a waffle. Worst waffle house experience ever. read more
