The green beans and cheesy broccoli rice I got with it was also really good. I got the cajun cornbread which was decent. My husband got their chicken breast which was okay. He enjoyed his mashed potatoes and greens he got with it. We also both shared some deviled eggs and a side of delicious peach cobbler. The entire meal was very affordable. The staff was really nice. You order first and they serve right in front of you. You pay and tip before you sit. The inside is very casual. There are plenty of places to sit. The only downside is parking. Overall, the meal was extremely underwhelming and not representative of good home-style cooking. To be honest, most other barbecue restaurants follow this design around here and I prefer it for barbecue. You order once at the counter and get your own refills. They do have a bar here and a pretty efficient drive-thru, but I dined in with my kids that night. My daughter got the pulled pork sandwich kid's meal with a baked potato and my son got chicken tenders and mac 'n cheese. I usually get ribs but seeing how I ate barbecue earlier that day, I just got a 1 piece catfish plate with collard greens and a side salad... I know I know, kind of blasphemous but I vouch to return next time and try actual barbecue. I did order an appetizer of deviled eggs though. The salad was good (I mean it's a salad but it wasn't wilty, so that's all that matters.) The collard greens were tasty and not too bitter. The deviled eggs were fantastic, delicious and creamy with a slight sweetness to it. My catfish was excellently fried with a good base corn meal seasoning and the tartar sauce was icing on the cake. However I made the mistake of ordering 1 filet. The cashier told me they were big but they were NOT. It was a chicken tenderloin sized filet, which left me hungry that night. For the record, just pat a couple bucks more and get 2 filets. Hopefully they will be bigger than what I got....my kids let me have a bite or 2 of their food and I liked the pulled pork and the chicken tenders. The chicken tender was juicy and not at all dry (an indication of freshness). Overall I will come back. I have had their actual barbecue before and I know it's good. Otherwise the aesthetics of it is nice, extremely open, though not super comfortable. Personally I prefer the previous full service restaurant JNN setup and felt that was another element that made them better than the others. With this fast casual concept I can say their to-go configuration and drive through is great. Their quality and consistency of food IS on the mark here to what you expect from JNN!
