We came on Easter Sunday morning after church, we booked a table for four. The service was quick, the waitress was friendly, and our glasses were always full. Additionally, they offer vegan menu options. This place is decorated very cute too.

Came by again cause this place is close to our hotel. I'm a little confused. Am I the only one who likes hot bacon? Is bacon supposed to be served cold? Cause mine was, again, served cold. This time I got the million dollar bacon. It was delicious, but had it been hot, this would have been closer to a 5 star review. I had the avocado toast. That is a 5 star dish for sure. It comes with two "basted" eggs, which seem like poached eggs to me. Might be a southern thing? Either way, the toast had an abundance of avocado and when topped with the eggs tasted like pure perfection. I had the meditation juice, which was wonderful, but was served in a dirty glass. The server brought a replacement quickly. My fork was also dirty but a quick swipe with the napkin was enough to make it serviceable. This place has moments of grandeur.

It was just this past Sunday where it would be the end of my vacation so I wanted to try something outside the downtown Nashville area. With friends in Hendersonville, they recommended this place. Cool little spot tucked in a shopping center. Service was good but somehow they did not have silverware available so we got stuck with plastic forks and tiny napkins. This obviously was the reason I could not give 5 stars. Food was damn good too! I ordered from the seasonal menu so not sure how many people will have the chance to review these items but let me tell you, they should be permanent items in the menu. The Bloody Mary might be premade but it was not bad. Little heavy on spice level. It does get quite busy so be sure to put your name and number in.

This is a chain so the building is as expected. Think swanky kitchen. There's tons of food options but it's delicious. The server was awesome (fast and effective). The food arrived fast and hot. It's a great lil brunch or breakfast spot just be sure to get on the bc waitlist!

Let me be honest. I wrote off ever coming back to a First Watch (not this one, the Brentwood location) ever since they screwed up my order so bad and gave me atrocious service. This was maybe 10 years ago. It took me 10 years before I got encouraged to give them another try. So here I am, at the Hendersonville location and what do I think about it now? They redeemed themselves but I wouldn't say it's my favorite. But I will continue to give them my business until I find something I really like (or they mess up really badly). First Watch, to me, is like the organic foods aisle in the grocery store. Yes there's good things there but you get a feeling of being a bit pretentious shopping in that aisle. I'm not knocking organic foods at all, heck I have some that I buy but it just feels a little much. So translating that feeling, I feel like that looking at the First Watch menu. There's a lot of things on the menu that have a healthy/wholesome spin on it. I ordered the Eggs Benedict Classic and the Lemon Ricotta Berry pancakes. It was probably too much food for 1 person but I eat a lot. The Eggs Benedict Classic was good. Really good. I've never had it on ciabatta bread (I like the firm chewiness of an English muffin) but it was good, a soft chewiness. The poached eggs were a little overcooked (I like them runny when eating eggs benedict) but it still had ample yolk to cover the food. There was a copious amount of smoked ham, which is always nice. Overall, really good. The roasted potatoes were roasted potatoes. Good, soft, paired with ketchup. I'm mixed on the Ricotta Berry Pancakes. They were huge and they looked good, but I knew exactly what was underneath that hood. The pancake mix at First Watch is multigrain. I hate multi/whole grain anything. It's the grittiness that gets me. It's like tiny specks of sand and it throws me off. If it weren't for the lemon curd, strawberries, and warm syrup, I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much as I did. The lemon curd really makes it here and I'm usually pretty simple when it comes to enjoying pancakes. It was creamy and added tartness to the pancakes. It made it taste "fruity fresh". So I'll probably get it again. First Watch is no longer in my blacklist. I enjoyed my food, especially the eggs benedict and I have a love-hate relationship with their pancakes. The only problem is my meal cost me 30$. That's a LOT for breakfast. I could mosey on over to Cracker Barrel for half the price. Bottom line is I'll add it to my rotation.

There is always an expectation when going to eat at First Watch. We haven't been to this location but the expectation was fulfilled as always. Great service! Superbly fresh food, and delicious tasting meals in a nice, casual, atmosphere.

I love First Watch & this one was close to our hotel. So I placed a carry out order just before checking out. Ordered the AM Superfood bowl which is coconut chia pudding with fruit & granola. Tastes so good! It comes with almond butter toast. The chia pudding bowl here was just as good as what I'm used to back home. I ordered the Kale drink as well. It was refreshing. No complaints. Pick up was quick and easy. Food was ready for me to grab as soon as I arrived.

She was really sweet and offered great recs to my husband. We both got the scrambler bowl, made our own ways. After looking at the waffle flavors, I had to get one of those as well. I was a little surprised when the scrambler "bowls" came out. They were more of omelettes on top of country potatoes with toast on the side. They were still great, but not what we were expecting (scrambled eggs with our ingredients mixed in). I opted for the cinnamon apple waffle which was absolutely incredible! It tasted like fall in my mouth. Mixed with the crisp weather outside, it made me wish we were in October already! I will say, if you do get a waffle and aren't a "sweets" person, go with a regular or something less extravagant. The apple topping was decadent, but it was incredibly rich. I was glad I had the country potatoes and my omelet to offset some of the sweetness. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained. It was very modernly decorated. The bathroom was fine, nothing special. The toilet seat of the stall I went into was not particularly clean, and the toilet itself was wobbly.

Written reviews matched our secondary experiences. The service was disjointed, and uncoordinated, and the food, should have never been brought to the table. But the claims of, "Under New Management", offered some hope of reviving the standards that had previously earned their namesakes, reputation and growth. This morning's breakfast experience was an astounding disappointment. Greeted and seated by cordial, pleasant staff, we were a party of 3, occupying only the second table, at 9:15 AM. (That emptiness itself should have been a hint of what was to come.) It took much longer than expected just to get coffee and water. Still longer, to place an order, and nearly half-an-hour for the actual meal service. The quality of the food, was nothing short of astonishingly poor. Most notably, cold. Considering there were only two tables occupied in the entire dining room, the cold servings were the first indication of coordination, communications, process, and standards shortfalls. The food preparation showed the skillsets of a 12 year-old, trying to mimic Mom's kitchen routine. How can a restaurant cook not do toast? It was white bread, with a slightly stiff outer layer. Most people would describe it as, "stale bread"; not toast. The pancakes served with the "Lieper's Fork Favorite", were beyond belief. Three hard little discs, served cold, with chilled hard pats of butter, and NO syrup. I actually demonstrated to the very nice server, that the pancakes could NOT be cut with a fork. Again - could NOT be cut with a fork! Come on... They're PANCAKES! Not a single bite could be sampled, without the utility of a knife. I am not a small person. I tried three places around the brown discs to acquire a bite. Țhe effort was foreboding enough. Ì surrendered. The scrambled eggs and bacon were edible, though lacking temperature, and uncaring presentation. When the server saw that the pancakes were as fork resistant as a Frisbee, she took the plate to the kitchen manager. He was a nice, apologetic young man, who acknowledged that the pancakes were "Overcooked on one side..." He did offer to make more. I declined. I told him I sincerely appreciated his offer. But the issue was much deeper, than plastic pancakes. As indicated by the lack of clientele in a fairly large restaurant, there was a blinding flash of the obvious. They were squandering the owner's investment. The kitchen staff lacked the skillsets to produce the simplest traditional American Breakfast - and - the wisdom to refrain from placing it up for service. The plating looked SO incredibly bad, that it was obvious that both standards and personal pride were totally absent. The staff was nice. Ignorance is curable. Training, processes, and well established standards can develop nice people into effective business associates. It's not their fault. They have NO leadership directions. The owners have let them down. Țhose owners have had ample signals and time to cure these maladies. They have a model, in their other facilities - that's how / why they opened more than one restaurant. But those owners are apparently oblivious to the signals of absentee management, process inconsistency, and the gross lack of product standards, leading to failure. To those nice people working at Puckett's, I have a sincere recommendation. The best time to find a job, is when you already have one. Your current employer is going to fail; sooner rather than later. They will surely continue with their communications shortfalls. They will not tell you in advance. They will simply let you go when they finally lock the doors. Take care of yourself. FInd an employer who has a distinct business survival plan. Such plans, include coordination, process leadership, training, and holding a team accountable to perform to the standards they were trained to. You're not getting that.
