My wife has a death allergic reaction to onions and because of cross contamination in the kitchen she was exposed to onions. Regardless of how busy the diner is, the cooks need to take their time to ensure this doesn't happen. Why didn't I speak to the staff? Guests with allergies need to read this and that takes precedent over speaking to a manager who may or not only provide lip service about seeing how this won't hapoen again.

Food took about 40 mins from when we ordered to when we got our food. I used to work in restaurants (the busiest of restaurants) and know that you should staff more, prep more, and place larger food orders in anticipation of being fully booked friday night till sunday night. I ordered gumbo. My niece got biscuits and gravy. The gumbo was pretty good except would have liked the roux a little thicker. The gravy on the biscuits was lacking in flavor.
