Used to love this establishment for it's quality and taste of real food. Sadly, their service is terrible now. Ordered a Philly Cheesesteak with lettuce and tomato and got this plus a chicken philly salad over an old bed of greens with some thousand island to go with it. Normally love this joint for a great sandwich. However we stopped in for lunch yesterday. They were out of ice??? ‍. Could have told me that before we ordered a drink and had to drink hot tea.... Then they were out of lids so hot tea to spill on my shirt when I tried to get in the car...Great!?!?!? NOT!!! Also they lost my wife's ticket when making her sandwich. Mine came out and then 10 min later I went to check on hers....they said ....oh we lost it.....no sorry, no discount....no trying to make it better. The place was filthy. One employee was sitting on a table in the back eating a cookie. The staff was hanging out with friends in the lobby. As a result, the place had a weird, lackadaisical vibe. The sub was decent (though sloppily made with the meats thrown on haphazardly, and the bread wasn't as fresh as I'd expect), but the store was dirty and the staff unprofessional. Had a last minute group of 12 I had to feed at a meeting, and got a Party Platter. Sandwiches were fantastic, but even more so were the extras included. Ample supply of chips, condiments, cookies, tea, napkins, and plenty of coupons for the future - which we will definitely use. I ordered the Chicken Philly. It was soggy. Their website indicated the sandwich had grilled onions, cheese, and chicken. This came with all of that, plus tomatoes and lettuce, and some soggy sauce on top. It was gross and disappointing. I'm sure I'll give them another chance, but I will definitely be more specific about what I don't want on my sub. read more

I use to frequent this business while on Azalea Rd and it was awesome. Since it has moved to Hillcrest the grill chicken philly has gotten worse. I love the taste of it but now you hardly ever get enough meat on it. You get more lettuce than you do meat. I usually order the large grill chicken philly because you can take the remainder home or even share it, but the price you pay does not equal the quantity you order. This was one of my favorite places to frequent but after going to it 3 times after it opened on HillCrest it is not worth the money. When I order a meal I expect to be happy with my order. I have not been back to this Lenny's because I refuse to pay for a partial meal that is over $10. The people are very friendly there but the amount of food you get for the price does not add up. read more
