We decided to come here today since huddle house was short staffed. We ordered our food and it was out pretty fast. The waffle was amazing, hashbrowns nicely browned and the eggs were prefect. The gravy biscuits were ok not the best but definitely a lot of food. The has brown bowl was huge but not much added for asking for it with ham only got like 6 pieces. The service was very bad. They had 3 servers, and 2 cooks. No one seemed to see us come in. There were 2 empty dirty tables. Another couple came in and stood at a table. When they wiped the tables, the other couple took one and then we took one. Because no one spoke to us when we came in, the other couple was served first. We then waited an additional 20 minutes to get our order taken and food. The other couple got their food and we're finished before we got our food. read more

Stopped by for a nice breakfast. Waitress was very friendly, nice, brought over coffee and many refills. The Senior Special (One Waffle and Three Pieces of Crisp Bacon) was delicious. We got takeout yesterday. My burger was good but my hashbrowns (what they're famous for) were terrible. My onions were raw instead of sauteed, my hashbrowns weren't scattered, my sausage gravy was missing. The toppings I did receive were on the bottom. That defeats the term "toppings". We just went into Waffle House. Sat down at the counter. No one ever acknowledged us. We are facing the servers. Nobody looked in our direction, welcomed us or anything. So after about 10 min. we left. As we were walking out we see a table of 4 (this table was empty and had not been cleared yet when we walked in) they were being served!! My favorite thing to order here is hashbrowns! Scattered, smothered w onion, double covered with cheese, and chunked with ham! Then to get a order of sausage. They are not worthy of even a ONE star rating. I have never been so disgusted in my life! My husband and I went this past Friday, 2/3. We had just placed our orders and was chit-chatting it up when I noticed a small cockroach on their counter. I dismissed this thinking maybe it was a termite or some other but, surely not a cockroach. It wasn't until after our food came that something caught the corner of my eye as it darted under our table. I looked under our table, right over my lap, and there were SIX huge cockroaches!!! I will NEVER eat at this Waffle House again. I have since informed DHEC and they are investigating. I suggest you stay away too, that is unless of course you like eating roaches. read more

This has to be the worst excuse for a WAFFLE HOUSE in the world. My wife and I went in last Saturday morning and ordered 2 waffles with bacon. My waffle had all of the pecans in the middle and both mine and my wifes waffle was RAW! My bacon was Raw but my wifes bacon was so so. We told the waitress about the waffles and I swear when they came back they were crispy on the outside but still raw on the inside in certain spots. My "NEW" bacon was burned to a crisp so I didnt eat it. I never got a refill and had to hit my wifes drink a few times. When I was paying I made them remove my bacon since I didnt touch it and the bill was $13 and some change. The waitress was nice the whole time but the food sucked beyond words! How can you fuck up a waffle twice when the name of the place is "waffle house"? This is the reason why we hardly ever eat in Lancaster because 99% of the food places suck just like this!
