It completely blows my mind that Texas roadhouse as a company doesn't care if you have a large group coming in. I called an hour and a half before my party arrived of 20 and spoke with a large party manager Montana and my party had to wait close to two hours after our arrival for a table. What blows my mind is that they will put parties of a smaller number on their weight as a call ahead and they don't have to wait as long. However, large parties don't get that same courtesy. I feel like this policy is completely backwards and it frustrates me to no end. I'm not sure if it's because the majority of the staff is young or they just don't care but I have a hard time interacting with them. There were several interactions during our visit they ruined the experience. For example since we had to wait the long period of time I told all of my family to know what they wanted to order. I asked the hostess for a menu for an older family member to look at and she told me they didn't have menus that I could either scan and look at the menu on a phone or stand and look at the menu tucked away close to the To-go area. I said I need the menu for a person over 75 yrs old and she looked at me like tough cookies and continued back to what she was doing. I'm so glad the Steele Creek area is getting a new location and hopefully we won't have to deal with some of this. Probably won't fix the large party issue (since this seems like a general company policy) but it makes me happy we won't have to travel so far to get to a location on a regular basis. It always has a very long drive through wait. It is now two lanes and they keep it moving. We ate inside and got our order sooner than the drive through. While waiting for the delivery, a customer spilled and entire cup of coffee. It was a lot of coffee to mop up and then wipe down the splashed on booths. An employee came along and with a mop, got it all, all the while joking with those of us eating. And that mop was a real sucker-upper as she did the mop job on three mop drains. A real pro runs this place, Nicholas Isaac, so Kudos to you and your well-trained staff.

I went today and my double cheeseburger was fantastic! It tasted great and was cooked perfect, very juicy and also too big for me to finish. The fries were very tasty as well and not too salty which I have complained about at other restaurants recently. They give you a lot of them which reminds me of some guys with a national chain. The overall cost is way lower than those guys, so Sambo's in Lancaster is highly recommend.
