We stopped in here again for dinner mid-week...and it was packed! There was actually a wait at 5:30 pm on a Wednesday! This is somewhat of a loud, honky tonk dive, but I personally love their complimentary bread rolls and their amazing house butter...and they generously load you up with 2 batches! For this, I'm willing to endure the wait, the ugly ambiance, and even the Country music overhead (NOT a fan of this genre). My husband had a generous load of BBQ Ribs, and I had Chicken Caesar Salad. HUGE portions...talk about a value! Technically, this is a 3-star restaurant, but I feel that you always get more than what you pay for...the food is decent (the bread rolls are heavenly!!), and no issues with service either.

Best Server Award goes to Bailee. We had a party of 15 so although we called an hour ahead of time to get put on the waitlist you wait until your entire party arrives before they will officially put you in the queue and ofcourse we had 4 late. We were split between two tables beside each other which was good. Our server Bailee was patient, knew the menu well and fun. It was a very busy night we could tell but she gave us her attention as we asked questions. The food was solid. I always have to get the cactus blossom to share and it never disappoints. There house Italian dressing is delicious with the house salad. Also the rattlesnack bites were good. The rolls and cinnamon honey butter is annoyingly addicting. One got the sirlom steak medium and sadly it was dry but that cut of meat is very lean so be careful getting that cut. The place is large so if you don't have too big a group you should be fine.

This visit fell short of everything from the service to the food. Not being greeted at the front instead I was asked can I help with an attitude ain't it. To start off the visit our server wasted/broke all the drinks at the table. I get that accidents happen but not one manager came over to the table to make sure everyone was alright. My friend on the end of the table got the worst end of it all! Clothes all wet and to top it off she was the birthday girl. So the server suggests that he goes ahead and take our order then go and get more drinks. We all agreed no problem, again we get that things happen, but still no apology from the manager to see if every one was okay. So food starts to come out and some plates were incomplete/missing sides dishes. I asked for my steak to be medium rare and it came out medium and I also asked for marshmallows and not the honey caramel but yet it was still on the both of the marshmallows. Time for checks to come I told the server multiple times what was on my check and yet my check was messed up. At that point I just gave up and paid for what was mine plus extra because he clearly did not understand...... I get that some people have bad nights but it was just bad from the time we sat down.

This place is like my second home. I go here every single Friday after work, clean efficient, great staff and I always get my meal correct the first time I love this place.

Restaurant was packed for dinner. Comfortable atmosphere, good attentive service, extensive food and beverage menu. We went here with our family for dinner. We ordered a blooming onion appetizer, filet, rib eye steaks and a main dish salad and chicken nugets and fries for a child. Food was tasty. Good portions and steaks cooked to order. However I must say even the sides ( fries, vegetables such as our sides of corn, sautéed mushrooms, ) were extremely salty for our tastes, and we couldn't finish them. Although service and menu selection was fine, not sure we would frequently eat here again because of the salty tasting food.

The cactus blossom is absolutely delicious. The service is incredible and the ambiance is an absolute accent. Plus, the employees were very friendly.

Elegant, romantic, luxurious but not pretentious because its South Carolina. Friendly professional service...and most importantly, the steaks come a side! $65 Beef Wellington...better than the one ate at a Gordon Ramsay Las Vegas restaurant. The puff pastry was warm and buttery, perfectly wrapping the tender juicy filet mignon inside, so good! $48 14oz New York Strip...an American classic! Thick, meaty, with a nice amount of char and marbling. I got the potato pancakes as a side, fully loaded with bacon, chives, butter, and sour cream, yum! $110 48oz Epic Tomahawk Long Bone Ribeye...it's humongous, generous, and epic! The steak had a perfectly marbling fat content, for a deeper, rich buttery and beefy flavor so good! It's expensive but could be shared between 2-3 people...worth it! All the sides are spectacular...mac n cheese, baked potato, cream spinach, etc. But definitely get the desserts! The cake and key lime pie are to die for!

I am usually surprised at how easy it is to get a seat. It's a big space which helps but the food is so good. I always anticipate having to wait. Unless there is a sporting event next-door, I can usually find a place at the bar or get a table. If you sit at the bar, hope Mariah is there. She makes a good cocktail and she's incredibly sweet. Food is consistent and very good. Their smoked wings must be the best in town get the lemon pepper rub in the house made blue cheese dip. You won't regret it. The blackened chicken Caesar salad is also a huge hit. I highly recommend this place. Enjoy!

We were a little confused as to how to enter the restaurant, but I chalk that up to being tired. The space is wide open and airy, with large windows and skylights. The restaurant was nice and clean, save for something that was splashed on the wall in our booth - but it's a restaurant. There's going to be little picky things here and there and I'm sure it was wiped down by the end of the day! Our hostess was also our server and she was so knowledgeable about the menu. I took her suggestions at every turn and did not regret it. We started off with the Bang Bang Brussels Sprouts app and let me tell you - I could've eaten that as my entire meal. They are SO delicious and I'll be dreaming of them until I can return to Rock Hill. Holy cow, they were good - crispy on the outside, loaded with flavor and just enough spice to give the sweetness a little bite. So good. My husband had the country fried steak and he said it was very good. Not the best he's ever had, he said, but good enough. He wished there'd been more steak and less crust, but the flavor was right on. They were out of the salt and pepper flounder, so I changed my order to the ranch chicken. Ummmm....excuse me. Who says not to order chicken breasts at restaurants? The portion size is SO generous and the chicken is SO DELICIOUS that I, the girl who rarely bothers to take leftovers, boxed up what was left and brought it back to my hotel and ate it as a midnight snack. The grilled zucchini served on the side of it was delicious. If I ever get back, I'll ask if I can skip the potatoes in favor of more of that zucchini! We didn't really have room for dessert, but when we heard about the warm banana pudding, we were curious. DO NOT SKIP THIS DESSERT. If you're a banana pudding fan, this will blow your mind. Absolutely incredible! It's both warm and cool at the same time, caramelized bananas and a torched meringue topping were bowl-licking delicious. All in all, this was a fantastic experience and I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

It was a bit chilly so we sat inside even though the outside patio was heated. It was a good choice because it was a little breezy. We shared the okra as an appetizer, it was as good as I remembered! They had a special which we both decided was good, surf & turf with NY strip and lobster tail. I also brought a bottle of Freixnet Cordon Negra which was so good! We were a bit disappointed that the steak we ordered as medium rare, came out rare on both our entrees. Overall it was a memorable evening and just what I had hoped for a special occasion!

Waitress just didn't follow up. My water sat unrefilled for a long time. Fried okra didn't taste like okra - but that suited a few of the party. But a few of us expected okra flavor only to be disappointed. Temp on the fried green tomatoes should have been warmer but overall it was very tasty. Our appetizer empty plates sat for a while - we even stacked them so it was clear they should be cleared. Ordered the salmon, which was good, but so did my mom. We ordered different temps and they couldn't tell which was which. Wife ordered a salad and for the price, there was barely anything there. Mac and cheese is still the star. Oysters were decent - I expected larger. The half chicken was a generous portion - nice crispy outside but a bit dry inside. I wouldn't order it (I almost did, but my one of our party did). One of our party ordered a stuffed leeks and it was so salty it was inedible. They did fix it and admitted it should have never left the kitchen. By the time the replacement came out it was after 6:05 (and they had to leave at 6:15). So they didn't get to eat their celebratory meal with the rest of us. Not the memory you want for a meal. Desserts were good. Tort was dense - honestly not sure if that's normal. Crème brûlée was very good. For a $400+ experience and our history with Pump House, I expected more.
