I hit up Waffle House early this morning when my husband decided to take me to early morning breakfast, some where 'close'. I was looking for healthy options, but it was difficult, I was hoping for whole grain waffles, which they didn't have but what I did find that I liked was you can add ingredients to your waffles for $0.95 I think? I liked the chocolate chip idea, I wish I would have splurged. I opted for the cheese scrambled eggs and grits with raisin toast. It was delightful. I love to mix my eggs and grits together, and they were quite a treat. Coffee was fresh and hot, which I love. Great service. Our waitress was hanging out close to fill our coffee and refill OJ whenever we needed. My husband had the hash browns, he had them fully loaded, included the chili, jalapenos, ham and cheese. He really enjoyed it. He also demolished his biscuits and gravy, he was so into them, he wouldn't even let me have a taste, they looked so good. All I got afterwards was the remaining gravy with sausage in it. Looking forward to my next Waffle House adventure. read more

First visit to our local Waffle House, but didn't enjoy it as much as the other Waffle Houses in the area. Salespeople were good, it the management was not. The Unit Manager (Reber) was on the line making meats and in such a rush that he was stacking the cooked meat plates 3-high and not waiting for the other cooks to get their parts done. This caused everyone who ordered to have cold food. Worst part about this was that the Area Manager (Kristi) was here today too and didn't even care that food was stacking up and getting cold. If the parking lot is full don't bother. They will rush trough your order always miss something or there just too busy and forget about you or not even wait on you. If there are only a few cars in the parking lot then food and service is good. I went there this morning had a seat at the front high bar next to cash register they all looked at me saw me, never asked my order coffee or anything after several other people that were seated after me were being served then I just left and they probably didn't even knew I was there. This is the third time this has happened. So much for Waffle House I'll drive a little further and find another place. Very disappointed read more

I have been to many, many a Waffle House, but never have had such poor service. I can understand how busy they were, but the attitude and neglect of the staff was troubling. My friend and I were on Spring break and decided to place a to-go order. We waited at least 5 minutes before even being greeted and then Ron the host or manager greeted us, but then found out we were placing to go orders and waved us aside, because the dine in customers were more worthy of his time. A waitress said she would take our order in a "minute" but proceeded to assist other customers at the counter who came in after us. No other server asked us if we had been helped. The waitress got their drinks (we were there first), then came over to take our order. We are already 15 minutes into waiting. . . Ron proceeded to laugh and joke with every customer who was waiting to be sat. He couldn't be bothered to speak to us, and like second class citizens, he kept telling people that we were "just to go orders." No apology in advance, no would you like a drink while you wait, nothing but being treated like our money wasn't good enough. We finally got our food, and a lame apology for the food taking so long from the waitress. I wasn't going to write this review, but when we got back to the hotel, half of my food was overcooked and inedible. I will give my money to a mom 'n'pop from now on. read more

The staff is always friendly but I will NEVER go back!! Today hubby and I ate breakfast here and found a roach on his knife! YUCK!!! It was dead , smashed and looked like it has been through the dishwasher. And to top it off.. they only comped his meal but truthfully should have taken the entire bill. I paid my portion and tipped bc they are nice but my poor husband threw up instantly AND pretty much through out the rest of the day. ROACHES! Stopped in for a quick lunch and got a cheeseburger that was probably the worst burger I've ever put in my mouth. Took two bites and that was it! McDonald's is 5 stars compared to this. Stay with the breakfast foods here as it looked like most other patrons were doing. read more

Waitress use to wk here. Managers lose out on bonuses if food is wasted. Cooler where raw meats, dairy and cooked foods like chili are stored get contaminated because of improper storage. The chili will actually have nasty green mold and the manager just scrapes it off and puts it out for sale. NO LIE! And the staff have been there for a long time and ignore any issues because they make great tips. Next time you eat at this Waffle House in Navarre, FL take notice, in about 30 minutes you'll have the sh*ts. This is a small town and the only locals that eat there are Ignorant to the fact of their disgusting sanitary issues.....Unfortunately, NASTY WAFFLE HOUSE and I used to love it too....:( read more

Great food , clean and huge portions. Friendly staff. When it was time to check out everyone was standing around and appeared nobody could check customers out. We waited almost 5 minutes as there was another man in front of us. One of the other waitresses finally came and cashed him out then us. Assuming the other 3 waitresses aren't allowed to use the register because they all stood there having conversations. No line at the door so it wasn't overly busy. Best Waffle House I have ever been to. Great service, great breakfast, & clean place.

Just left the Navarre location. highly disappointed with service and food. Took 10 min. to even get drinks not to mention the food was cold. We were served food that had sat on the counter for 8 min. The staff was to worried about getting to go orders out. And that was called in after we had ordered. Not happy at all with this location and I never complain about service or food. read more

Hey, the Navarre WH is a standard Waffle House. Serves breakfast and other short orders 24/7. What else did you expect? But it is one of the better WHs you'll visit. Even at peak hours on Sunday morning you're seated and served your orders in a timely manner. It is what it is - and it's good. read more

Good food that comes out very quickly. Only one star off because weekend mornings it's completely packed. They are accommodating and provide chairs while you wait for a table/seat. However I almost feel like they have room for more tables beside the window. Not sure if it's a occupancy capacity or fire code issue but they need more seats/tables to handle the weekends. read more

For a cheap place to get breakfast and some lunch food items, it is a good place to eat. the last few time i've gone it was a little burnt and sometimes it was perfect. it really depends on the cook. but over all the food is good for a chain restaurant read more

One of the best Waffle House restaurants I have been to. There 10 behind the counter including a tall gentleman Mr Tanner, District Manager, calling the orders and making sure they were right and to the correct server, he even took time to deliver mine. Food was received fresh, hot and most of all right. The team worked cohesive with being cordial to their coworkers. I must mention there was a continuous wait. Loved our waitress Ashley. Also overheard other servers attending to tables and none were rude nor did they impress a rush to their customers. Awesome way to start my day. #wafflehouse read more

This is the 3rd time I've had Shannon as my server and every time I have been disappointed. Not with the food but with customer service. I always go in and ask for a regular hash brown, a slice of cheese, and sausage on top. It's basically a smaller hash brown bowl without the egg. When I asked for it, I was given attitude and an unkind look. Other great servers like Shaun and Courtney have been amazing in following through with my requests. This morning I asked for my regular order and I got hash browns with cheese on top and sausage on the side. I don't know what Shaun and Courtney say, but please tell Shannon how to do this. read more

I don't know if it was because I was so hungry, but the food here is the best of ANY Waffle House I have EVER been to. David and I stopped here after leaving the beach and facing in front of us a 4 hour drive back to Marion, Alabama. David is very picky about how his bacon is cooked and he ordered 2 extra slices after eating the side order of 4 slices that already came with his meal. That means this bacon rocks!! I had missed out on the continental breakfast at the Baymont that morning because I chose to take a swim in the hotel pool instead. So, those two little packs of instant oatmeal I grabbed when I was checking out of the Baymont had worn off LONG before we stepped into this Waffle House around 4:30pm. I ordered the super master of all breakfasts, the waffle, with sides of bacon, eggs (overeasy) and hashbrowns (smothered and covered). After I was already full I noticed HUGE slices of chocolate cream pie in the cooler along with some other desserts. Aw man, I wished I had room in my stomach for a piece of THAT chocolate cream pie!! I am definitely stopping here again. The employees are all friendly, cooperating with each other as team and look like they are all having fun while getting the job done. It was nice of this Waffle House to let me use their bathroom sink water to wash some of the sand out of my bathing suit and David changed clothes completely in the bathroom. Great service, food is usually really good too, coffee is a little weak though. Definitely one of the better WH that I've been to.
