This is our favorite Waffle House . They cook to order fresh eggs and they are always friendly. They are reasonable and you usually never have. Wait during the week !

This our third visit in ten months and we ran into the same situation. They close at "night" for dine in and they only do to-go orders. Yelp says they are open for dine in, Google says they are open for dine in, and the actual business recording says they are open for dine in. But you get a special surprise when you pull up to the business each time! This particular visit there was a tweaker out front making out with someone that appeared to be the cook on duty. We all get out of the vehicle and they stop for a brief moment so the cook can yell at us that they are only open for to go orders at night. I asked what time does that start and he proceeds to tell me "at night". He went back to business with the tweaker and we went on driving. Glorious business model if you don't mind me saying so.

This is the cleanest, fastest, Waffle House I've ever been to! The food was delicious and we both left so so full! The service was super fast and we didn't have to wait for anything. Would definitely come back!!

Even though I lived down south for almost 10 years, I never tried this place out. I didn't start eating at the Waffle House until about five years ago. So far, I've loved everything that I've tried there but I really like the fact that I can get a full breakfast of my basics: sausage or bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs, grits, buttered white toast and orange juice. I've never been much of a waffle or omelet eater, but they're both delicious here. The secret to enjoying a good waffle there is to request that the waffle come out before the food because everything else takes longer to prepare. If you get them all at the same time, the waffle cools off more than you would probably like it. So eat that first. About two years ago, it seems that they changed the recipe for grits and now I don't like it at all. I used to love it. That's the only thing that I don't order anymore. Other than that, everything else in the restaurant is great.

Friendly quick service at a reasonable price. My hash browns were crispy on top but I prefer crispy all the way through and they are not. My cheese eggs were hot and tasty. My toast came already butter but it wasn't warm.

I've been in here about five times now and This is the best Waffle House in the city of Columbus this review is based on the consistency of great service and speed of service and cleanliness of restaurant everything else you pretty much know about Waffle House Jason so this is probably a shorter than normal review.

I still decided to utilize their walk up window simply because I had a car full of dogs and I didn't want them to miss me. The window is pretty easy. It does have an awning, but it doesn't really work very well when it's raining cause it's a little narrow and width. However, the barista prioritized me standing in the rain and quickly took my order I told her I was gonna go back and wait in the car because I had a car full of dogs. When my coffee was ready, she noticed that I was getting attention to my dogs and she decided to hand-deliver my coffee to my car. It's a little things like that that make a difference to somebody's day. Whoever does a hiring at this location has a talent for picking the best people. Where my two stars come from is the area is very cute and the staff was friendly and service was quick. That is unfortunately where the good ends. My drink was, and I don't say this lightly, terrible. To the point I threw it away after 3 sips. It was extremely watery, overly artificially sweet and wholly unpleasant. I'm not sure if it was made wrong or what (did not have the faintest coffee taste), however paying $7 for a small beverage without any cold foams or things to make it fancy, I'd at least expect it to be tasty. Very disappointing and won't be back.

Think black-and-white checkered floors, red/chrome chairs and counter stools, a soundtrack of '50s and '60s classics, and waitresses happily singing along while they work. The atmosphere feels welcoming, lived-in, and full of personality. The food is straightforward, affordable, and exactly what you'd hope for from a classic American breakfast. You don't come here for an açaí bowl or an eggs Benedict flight--you come because you're hungry, you want your eggs cooked right, and you know you'll be taken care of. Places like this become community staples for a reason. The service was warm, the energy in the room was contagious, and the whole experience reminded me why diners like this make me so happy. I thought that I would give it a shot again, but the food was just as disappointing as my first try. The service is great though! Everyone seems to be friendly and kind! We stopped by around 10 AM today (Saturday). Every table was full (so clearly others do like the food/service). My husband and I started off with a cup of coffee while our daughter got a glass of chocolate milk. The coffee was watery and bland (although they have a sign up front about having the world's best coffee). Be prepared to wait a while for your food. It took almost 45 minutes for us to get ours; however, it was understandable considering every table was full! For food, my daughter got the cinnamon roll. She absolutely loved it! She said that it was super soft and ooey-gooey! My husband ordered the steak and eggs. He ordered the steak medium, but it came out very well-done (super chewy). I tried his home fries with his side of bacon and both of those were good! My daughter enjoyed the bacon too! I had the biscuits and gravy and a side of "cheesy" scrambled eggs. A big no to both! The biscuits were undercooked and the gravy just tasted like a large clump of flour! The "cheesy" scrambled eggs were tough scrambled eggs with some shredded cheese sprinkled on the top! While the food was not "it" for me, there are other things that I do enjoy about Canal Wigwam! It's a cute little diner located in the center of our comforting and cozy town! They promote many other local businesses through their "decor" - the dining tables are designed with local businesses flyers/contact information, their coffee mugs promote another local business, etc. Again, I really want to like the food here, but for some reason - my taste buds do not agree!

First time my wife and daughter stopped before our daughter headed overseas for two years in the Peace Corps. Scotty''s is super close and convenient to the airport. Scotty learned of the imminent departure and came with cookies and treats for the long flight! And now this morning it was another airport drop off. It was my turn, dining alone but nothing about a table for one at Scotty's is lonely. The staff are immediately welcoming and every customer is every employee's charge. Four different people helped me or just checked in. The Gina breakfast combos have lots to offer for breakfast. But I was thrilled this 9:30 am to be assured the whole menu was available. I was looking for something less common and was excited to see potato latkes with sour cream and apple sauce as an option. That would have been great but then the waitress (Salome maybe) said, "Do you like corned beef?" The Schmoozer is 3 enormous latkes with thinly shaved and lightly grilled corn beef on top with an over easy egg atop that. Seriously, I can declare victory for finding something I'd never had before. Never would have found it without the nudge. Had to cut myself off with all the coffee offers. Just a great vibe. You rarely see a 4.9 rating and even more rarely that high based on so many reviews. But I understand why - like in so many things in life, it is about the people. And the joy they bring to every conversation. And I will just add, in this age when some would divide us, this dining room is filled with all manner of folks, reveling together over food in fellowship.

By the time we walked to the host stand--literally within seconds--we were told we had already lost our spot. They put us back on the waitlist and told us it would be about 20 minutes. After waiting around 25 minutes, we received another text saying our table was ready. Once again, we went straight to the host stand, only to be told there wasn't actually a table available. We asked if we could at least sit at the bar, but since we were a party of four, that wasn't an option. Instead, they added us to the waitlist for a third time and told us to wait another 20 minutes. The most disappointing part was watching more than 10 couples get seated while we continued to be overlooked. It felt like the waitlist system was completely disorganized, and the staff offered no real explanation or solution. After wasting nearly an hour, we decided to leave and have brunch somewhere else. Fortunately, the other restaurant was excellent. Unfortunately, this place turned what should have been a relaxing brunch into a frustrating and disappointing experience.
