I always love coming here for the good food and service. The food is always fresh and flavorful. I love the little mom and pop diners not to many of them around so I do enjoy coming here. This place can get packed on the weekend so be prepared to have a little wait as the seating is minimal.

Fantastic diner! Super friendly staff, delicious food, and that classic diner feel. We sat at the counter and watched everyone work so well together to crank that delicious food out. We loved it here and are looking forward to coming back on our next visit to Columbus!

My husband and I came here for a quick breakfast. We got sat immediately and the food came out super fast. The waiter was really kind and very helpful. He filled coffee and water as soon as there was a dent made. I had the biscuits and gravy big breakfast dish with hash browns and he had the fried bologna sandwich. The biscuits and gravy were good, not anything out of this world but the good comfort breakfast I was looking for. The fried bolonga sandwich was yummy as well. The bologna seemed good quality and a really thick piece. Overall a good experience and would gladly come back

It was everything that I had heard about for years! Fresh, remicient of Grandma's house. Try it, you won't regret it.

I love eating breakfast at Delaney's. Simple but effective menu choices with something for everyone. It's near the Alum Creek trail which makes it great for a post run meal. This morning I tried out the breakfast casserole. Another good option but my favorites are the Indy 500 and the breakfast sandwich. The staff are very friendly and seated us quickly this morning. The waitress stopped but plenty of times to make sure we had full coffee cups and quickly brought out our food. The place gets fairly loud, like many other diners but you can always still have a conversation. I will gladly return again.

    Overly greasy hash browns.

I still decided to utilize their walk up window simply because I had a car full of dogs and I didn't want them to miss me. The window is pretty easy. It does have an awning, but it doesn't really work very well when it's raining cause it's a little narrow and width. However, the barista prioritized me standing in the rain and quickly took my order I told her I was gonna go back and wait in the car because I had a car full of dogs. When my coffee was ready, she noticed that I was getting attention to my dogs and she decided to hand-deliver my coffee to my car. It's a little things like that that make a difference to somebody's day. Whoever does a hiring at this location has a talent for picking the best people. The ratings in this place are solid five star so it's confusing why but perhaps I had a bad experience with the food and that's not reflective of the whole place of course. First off, the service was good. The girl was friendly and told me I should come back to try that strawberry drink that was on the sign. Second, I can't judge a drink since I didn't have one so late in the evening, but I did get a piece of coffee cake and it was one of the worst things I have eaten in a long time. It tasted like paste in my mouth... Purely flour , butter and sugar. There was not a texture from a crumble at all. And the cinnamon was a complete afterthought. When I say that it tasted mostly like flour, I am not exaggerating. Lastly, the place definitely is cute inside and it seems to be connected to the Goat by hallway.

Within 20 minutes we received our text and were seated. The ambiance was fun and relaxing to the seating to the music, all a good vibe. Our waiter, Preston, was amazing. We shared the street corn nachos and you'll have to try the freshest jalapeños on them, by far the best nachos ever! I kept with the theme and did the Al pastor tacos but with grilled chicken plus queso and chips on the side! Stuffed and amazed at how quick yet fresh and delicious everything was. Every single person kept saying how great their meal was. Danielle, the manager even stopped by to make sure everyone was taken care of! After an amazing meal like that we had to try the desserts, the butter cake and banana were both great but definitely think if you only get one, the butter cake is where it's at. The ambiance was definitely vibey and perfect for socializing, with a lively atmosphere that fit our group of 13 well. Unfortunately, everything after the hostess stand went downhill on the service side. Our server felt disengaged from the start and rarely checked on us. It was hard to tell if we'd said something wrong or if he was just having an off night, but even after asking other staff members to send him over, he never came back to check on our table. With automatic gratuity already added for a large party, it was disappointing to experience such minimal attention and care. What I had: * Mediterranean Salmon (shared): The portion split felt more like 75/25 than an even share, which was a little odd for something asked to be split. The salmon itself was decent, but the hummus quickly overpowered the dish if you mixed everything together. * Teriyaki Ribeye: I requested medium rare and received a steak well past well-done, dry enough that it was basically inedible. It almost tasted like it had been reheated rather than freshly cooked. Since our server never checked in, I had to flag someone else down to get it replaced, and the remake took about 15 minutes to arrive--even though the cut was thin and already marinated. * Old Fashioned: The cocktail came out quite watered down, with very little depth of flavor. I would've asked for it to be remade, but again, our server was nowhere to be found. The bar program also felt surprisingly limited for a place that leans into a social, cocktail-forward vibe, which added to the letdown. Between the uneven service, lack of follow-through, and several misses on the food and drinks, it's hard to say I'd rush back--especially when there are so many other strong options in Columbus.

I got the meatloaf, sounds like big deal. But let me tell you, this is a great tasting dish. Well balanced flavor and seasoning. My wife had the chicken & Amish noodles over mashed potatoes and it was delicious as well. Then Nick suggested dessert, recommended the Chefs Christie's Famous Cinnamon Roll Apple Pie | A La Mode.
