I only had coffee, but the staff working here were just the nicest people. Started my day off right and I will return to eat breakfast next time. I liked how they had a little old school breakfast counter you could sit at. Very "sunny" and cheerful atmosphere here.

I've been to other Sunny Street Cafes and this one was quite the disappointment. When we walked in, it wasn't busy so we got seated shortly after. Service was very slow and although the coffee is bottomless, that took a while to get refilled too. For our food order, I got the eggs Benedict with a side of fruit and the hollandaise sauce was very bland and underwhelming. I was also expecting a perfectly poached egg with a runny yolk and instead, it was overcooked with a hard yolk in the center which is not what you want for an eggs Benedict dish. In addition to that, it's hard to mess up a fruit salad right, but the fruit salad was gross too. It seems like they just let it sit under the heat lamp for a while because it was served WARM and the strawberries were wilted. My husband got the corned beef hash and that was tasty but they messed up his eggs too. He had ordered over medium eggs and you can see he received over hard eggs.

Amazing food. The only grits I've ever not had to salt-so flavorful. Great classic chicken fried steak. My sister got eggs Benedict with fruit and the fruit looked like such a good variety and she said her meal was good. Nice place with sunlight inside. Service was interesting and we were kind of alone after we got our food but food made it five stars.

Sunny street cafe really suprised me in the best way! I had always driven by these, but never felt drawn to going, and boy o boy do I regret it. For starters, my wait time was quoted as 20 minutes, and I got my text 5 minutes later, which always puts me in a good mood. As soon as I sat down I was greeted by one of the best servers I've ever had, Hollie. She was friendly, courteous, and speedy! The food was very good. I had the summer berry waffle and it was delicious! Although it looked like it might be too sweet, it was the perfect level of fruity sweetness even with maple syrup on it! The eggs and hashbrowns were your standard breakfast place quality, but the waffle more than made up for it. The only thing I wish was improved is that my soda was too syrup-y. If you haven't dropped in yet, I'd head over there next time you're looking for lunch or brunch!

Super friendly and attentive service from Kim! Our drink cups were never empty :) My sister ordered a protein wrap with a side of hash browns. It featured sausage and mushrooms. I opted for the spinach benedict with a side of fruit. Very flavorful and delicious. Enjoyable!

Decided to give Sunny Street Cafe a try as we were looking for a quick, casual spot to grab breakfast. This regional chain is your standard, run of the mill breakfast joint. We were seated quickly and served coffee as soon as we sat down. This location is located in a strip mall in the Upper Arlington area off of Henderson Rd. They have a good variety, with options for all types of palates. I wanted something on the healthier side, so my eyes were drawn to the 'Lite Bites' section. I ended up deciding on the 'power breakfast' -- scrambled egg whites, chicken sausage, fresh fruit & toast. I ended up substituting the fresh fruit for hash browns. The food arrived quickly, and our waitress did a great job of keeping our coffees topped off. But I must say, I was somewhat disappointed in my food. The egg whites had essentially no flavor, so I felt like I was just eating it for the texture, which was about as unappealing as it sounds. In hindsight, I should've loaded it up with hot sauce or asked for cheese to be included in it. The chicken sausage was so-so, but the hash browns were really good and had a decent amount of crispiness. Overall, this definitely hit the mark of being quick and casual, but the food in my opinion was a bit of a let down. However, the other two people I ate with both enjoyed their meals, so I may have just ordered the wrong thing.

The service was very good! The breakfast sandwich was slightly dry, but added some extra mayo and it was delicious. My kids had the dinosaur pancakes that were thick and very filling. They loved the shape and made them want to eat it. The country omelette was amazing! The mix of everything made it very filling.

Banana crunch waffle breakfast off the Winter Menu. Really good!

In from Florida and was looking for something "local" for breakfast vs Starbucks or Dunkin'. Found Sunny Street in a plaza right next Starbucks and laughed at the iron and fate. Cool dinner / cafe vibe and feel. I ordered the Banana Crunch Waffle Breakfast off the winter menu and it was fantastic. The waffle was perfect with walnuts, bananas and cinnamon butter. Service was great as well. They had lots of other cool stuff on the menu. Maybe next time. Absolutely worth a visit.

Food is very yummy. Professionally crafted. Service is quick and gentile. The ambience is quiet and I like a lot to enjoy a breakfast anniversary with my wife. I recommended

I usually go to the one in Dublin since it's by my dialysis center. First time getting food from this location and pleasantly surprised that there is one close to where I live. Ordered pickup and was immediately greeted when I entered the restaurant. Friendly atmosphere and clean restaurant from what I could see. Food at this location is delicious as well so I'll definitely be ordering from here again. May even eat in as well. Recommend!

I had my usual breakfast on this visit to the Sunny Street Cafe. Banana Bread Oatmeal. It comes in a bowl filled with gluten free oats from Bob & Red Mill, sliced banana, brown sugar, chopped walnuts, cinnamon and a drizzle of honey. Quite frankly, this is how I prepare my own breakfast almost every morning with the addition of two cups of coffee. At $9.09, I thought it was pricey but I'm out with my daughter. Other members of my party had the Big Breakfast sandwich- 2 eggs, bacon, cheddar & chipotle mayo. on a toasted brioche roll with choice of a side. ($9.89). Someone else had the Avocado Toast- smashed avocado pn artisan sourdough bread, basted egg, pico de gallo, queso fresco with a choice of a side. ($10.89). Everyone seemed to enjoy their breakfasts. The cafe is in a strip mall with ample parking. The interior is brightly colored and illuminated something I truly need each morning. I have bright lighting in my home as well to achieve that wake-up feeling. Light wood and vibrant color schemes were also a plus. The service was adequate with refills on the coffee and adequate attention given to water refill and that complimentary, "Would there be anything else." I liked the Ohio State Jerseys and plaques on the wall.

Regardless, we were seated right away. We were given a spot at a high top inside but adjacent to the open windows for some fresh evening air and a nice cooling breeze. Unfortunately, service throughout the night was a little spotty. The first round of drinks took a while to come out, the app went missing, our server (who seemed slightly less than enthused all night) took the liberty of snagging an extra one for us, and then our entrees came out right at the same time. I started with the sunrise mojito. Being a bit of a rum snob, I am particularly picky when it comes to rum-based drinks and this one did not disappoint. Probably one of the best takes on a mojito I've had in quite a while. I eventually followed that up with the peach bourbon smash, which was also tasty but pretty heavy on the peach and less on the bourbon. To get started on food, we ordered the street corn nachos. Now, I do love street corn, but something about corn on top of nachos on paper doesn't exactly sound like my personal first choice. However, since my coworker was putting the food on his company card, he went that route. Man, what a mistake I made in my assumption. Absolutely amazing. Gooey cheese, excellent flavors, and not too much to fill you up. My coworker got the shrimp capellini, which looked excellent and he agreed it was solid. I opted for the crispy chicken sandwich (a gochujang aioli? Come on). The sandwich was delicious. The chicken was indeed crispy but also quite juicy. The fries were also delicious being slightly soft, slightly crisp, and not too salty. All in all, a couple service hiccups aside, this was a really fantastic place. I definitely will be sure to make my way back here if I find myself on another work trip for sure!

I've gone during brunch for my most recent visits and can't seem to stay away from the breakfast tacos. I think what makes the tacos stand out is the fried chicken. It's deliciously crisp while still maintaining an excellent moistness. Add that with gravy on top?? 10/10! I find that two tacos is plenty especially considering the side of potatoes. Highly recommend this dish! The true star of this restaurant is the biscuits, whether it's the cheddar & scallion or the cinnabiscuits. I truly don't think I've had a better biscuit in Columbus. They're THAT good. You can't dine here without ordering one of these options. I love the environment and how friendly all my waiters have been. During each visit, a manager has come up to our table and chatted with us about our experience. Very kind people! An incredible establishment all around.

Not sure but my gut say probably.... Why? No one had come in for a "big"take out order, I think she forgot to log in our order as she was distracted with the table next to us that had their former cook there. I could see that easily happening under this situation.) After waiting another three minutes and no food, we were "over" Over the Counter and nicely told her were leaving. To cancel our order. She nicely tried to entice us to stay saying the owner was going to give us a gift certificate... but that just further solidified that they "knew" our meals timing had gone sideways and we had been neglected. We chose to leave and we dont really plan on coming back. Why? The inside seemed old. We saw the kitchen from our table. It seemed disorganized. It gave off a bad vibe. Add our wait. Meh.
