I looked up the pricing online menu and I was overcharged $60. They close early on Sunday, closed on Monday so I called first thing Tuesday morning. Mr. Neal was so mean to me on the phone about it. I tried to explain to him, but he didn't want to hear it and told me it was expensive to eat out. Well, I doubt a grill cheese and chips and a BLT and chips is $30 a person. The mashed potatoes had the potato skins in them so you know they were homemade unlike other restaurants that use instant. The waitress was super friendly and answered all our questions. They did not ask these men to leave or make any effort to stop the hateful behavior. Silence in the face of racism sends a message. I'm sharing this to make others aware. If you are a person of color or have loved ones who are, know that this was our experience, and it did not feel like a welcoming or safe place. Racism has no place in our communities, and businesses have a responsibility to stand against it--not ignore it.
