Waffle House is an Americana Icon. What I am most impressed about is you see hard work in front of your eyes. We were served by Jennifer. She could not be more helpful and enthusiastic. We needed a friendly face after coming from the hospital (mother-in-law fine). Food, coffee, drinks---all as expected. Never an empty cup. Waffle House has upped their coffee game. Listen to the bad reviews about this place. I'm literally sitting here as I write this. The service is terrible, I came in and there was 1 person already here eating and 10 mins after I ordered a group of 4 sat down and some how we all got our food at the same time. Worst experience I've ever had from a restaurant was trying to dine in when I got seated I was told that I could not eat there but I really wanted waffle house so I asked why trying to figure out if I could just go down the road to another Waffle House but instead of saying it's just this location or anything like that she proceeded to cuss me and tell me she's the fucking boss and she don't answer to no one when I asked her for her name she told me it was none of my business and kept cussing me I hate to have to leave a bad review but my experience was just terrible and if something isn't done to fix this location they will continue to make all other Waffle House look bad and that sucks to think Waffle House deserves better than that and the customers definitely deserve better read more

Despite the other bad reviews on here about this location, my experience was great. The place was well staffed when I came in and my order was taken within seconds of me sitting down. I ordered the Texas city ham egg & cheese melt with hash browns and the order came out within 10 minutes of me making the order. This was the first time I've ever walked out of a Waffle House. My 3 friends and I attempted to eat at this restaurant, but we're treated poorly enough before we could sit down that I refused to dine there. The 3 disrespectful staff members were hateful and yelled at us, then made remarks about us under their breaths and laughed at us. The two available booth were filthy and while they continued to be entertained at our expense, 3 out of 4 of my party were able to use the bathroom and wash our hands before one of the young men approached where we were standing at the table waiting. He said in a very displeasing tone "Could y'all stand over there while I clean this table off?" I told my friends that I wasn't going to pay $80 to see what kind of meal we were going to end up with. Friendly, fast service! Kayla was a doll and our food was hot and delicious. My dining companion and I both enjoyed the All Star Breakfast; eggs over light (or easy if you're from Jersey like me lol), raisin toast, bacon, crispy hash browns and waffles. My son enjoyed a chocolate milk and waffle and he very much enjoyed it, as well as some of our raisin toast with apple butter. Yum. Hot strong coffee can't be beat. The staff was gossiping and cursing about each other in front of us. They swapped in-ear headphones, and one staff that was cleaning dishes in front of the breakfast bar we sat at (bad enough the cleaning station is RIGHT in front of you while you eat) was flinging soap and eaten food all over and it ended up getting in our food and coffee. When I asked to move rather than get angry her response was "No you're alright, you're almost done anyways." Very unsanitary. Poor service. We go out for breakfast regularly and are eating our way through Thomasville and Lexington NC. Yesterday we stopped at The Tville Waffle house, a place we had earlier rejected. Over the holidays we drove to The Waffle House before it opened, only to see a man smoking in the kitchen. Yesterday we decided to ignore that and try the restaurant again. We were delighted. Although we waited a bit for our food (there were many take out orders ahead) the lively senior bus person kept us entertained and smiling with her antics. Very refreshing to see such a happy person, loving their job. Our food was perfect. Hot toast, great coffee, eggs done correctly and fresh. This is the worst Waffle House that I have never eaten at. My husband and I walked in and the entire staff proceeded to act as if we didn't exist. As people got up from tables they just left them dirty as if we were supposed to clean them ourselves. They never even acknowledged our presence. A poverty mindset allows you to stay in poverty if you gain a wealth of love and compassion you will recognize that people desire to see you successful and will prosper you to that place but it starts with a healthy attitude towards the life you currently possess. I've been to this location many times before. Food is standard Waffle House, neither good or bad. Service is what sets a Waffle House apart from the masses. Unfortunately this one is consistently mediocre at best. Today it was downright horrible. My wife and I sat for over 15 minutes and no one approached us in any way shape or form. The 4 members of the wait staff were busy joking and laughing behind the counter. There were other customers, 3 of them, but they were eating already when we walked in. I'm not sure I'll be back. I went to the Waffle House in Thomasville, NC. First when me and my daughter went into the Waffle House, "ALL" we saw was employees playing and joking around (Where was the manager in ALL of this?). Maybe if they were not playing and joking around so much, they would have known that they gave us "BURNT" waffles and a very "SMALL" waffle. When you are working, it is a time "TO" play and a time "NOT" to play. I travel through three states for my job and often travel at night so I eat a lot of waffle houses, I have to say tonight's meal was THE best I have ever had! I don't know what the cook did but it took a little longer than most times when I order, so maybe that was it! I always get the same thing when I go... chicken melt plate scattered covered and chunked. And everything was just perfect. It was like she did something with the butter on the toast. It was just right! I thank them and do not remember the name of the lady that was cooking but she looked to be maybe the manager or assistant, and they ought to have her be a trainer! She just can cook! You don't ever expect fine dining when you stop but it's always hit or miss. Sometimes they burn the toast or don't toast it enough, or not get a good brown on the hash browns, but this lady did it all perfectly. I will be stopping back by when I'm back in the area. The food here is ok. It could be better . They don't change their gloves while cooking raw meats and they touch everything . Contaminating every surface , like Plates , handles, buttons, Cooked toast and foods. You get half the food you ordered at 1st , then you are half way done eatting they bring the rest of your order. Which you need a to go box because you couldn't eat it together. You order bacon and they bring you sausage, which they switch out, so it takes even longer. You order coke and they bring you diet coke. Then when you tell her that the drink taste like diet she says oh yeah I'm sorry. Ill get you regular coke. If the waitress knew that why would she think you would be fooled. And bring it to you anyway.. and corp. waffle house has been told. The health dept has been told but nothing is done.
