    Bucket of peanuts

Visiting family out in Arkansas and was taken to this place. We enjoyed the fun, casual atmosphere and abundance of appetizer choices - and of course the steaks! The service was not perfect (sometimes it felt like the server wasn't really paying attention, and got a few minor details wrong, but that's OK) - not enough to lose a star over. This is a place I'd definitely try again if I were in the area! Did I mention they have all-you-can eat peanuts?

In the mood for something substantial, I found Colton's which was right across the highway from my hotel. I was quickly seated, served my drink and ordered. Rolls came out about the same time as my salad. The rest of my food came out quickly. My steak was cooked just right. The New York Strip had a bit more gristle than I prefer for that cut, but it was still good. Server checked on me just often enough. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

We were traveling and in search of some non-fast food options. I'd stopped in here years ago and found the place okay, so we dropped in with our grandkids before heading on north to Fayetteville. There was a light crowd, several staff but our server seemed a bit maxed out on tables and took a while to get to us, she was pleasant and helpful. We placed our order: Bread and Butter prior to the meal - good Peanuts - seemed stale and soggy Kids Burger/Fries-good Kids Sirloin tips/mashed potatoes Salad with Sirloin tips - not good 9oz Sirloin + side salad with ranch + baked potato - not good My side salad was definitely straight from the bag, dry and flavorless, the 9oz Sirloin was full of gristle and fat, there were so few bites from the entire steak it was just awful. The baked potato was the only saving grace but it was small. We struggled thru the meal and regretted stopping in. My lady pointed out that the sign by the door said; "Hiring Cooks, apply now." Wish we had seen that before we chose to dine here. My guess is this-the fried food and burgers would have been just fine, a lot of people around us seemed to be enjoying that fare.

$14 steak cooked perfectly 99% of time 2 sides (warning: veg. Not fresh but canned or other). Not locally sourced (yet) but nowhere else is yet either...rustic high end ambiance...sadly no live music or dance floor to line dance and two step....shorter wait than Texas Roadhouse but same quality and easier to hear people talking if you're actually dying with people you want to talk with....ha... Complimentary white flour rolls are savory, not sweet like Texas Roadhouse so I prefer....mmmmmmm....yuuummmm!!!!!!! Watch for discounted off season gift cards... They'd need even bigger location to offer line dancing and two step. I bet you once tomorrow they clear the main dining room floor for banquets. If you would like them to carry local grass-fed beef, local pasture raised chicken & duck, local woodland foraging goat contact headquarters...it can only get better...really enjoy the food and friendly team.

Visiting from Atlanta here for work. Colton's was across from our hotel so we decided to come get a nice steak. It was okay. A little dry. Waitress was very sweet. Nothing we ordered had flavor so get ready to use the Colton's seasoning on everything.

    12 oz. Ribeye, medium rare.

This is supposed to be a 12 oz. ribeye, medium rare. It was more like a 6 oz. tough piece of thin shoe leather, done medium well to well. Super thin, nowhere near 12 ounces, and grossly overcooked. Horrible steak from a "steakhouse." My son ordered a New York. His was appropriate size, but loaded with gristle and fat. We used to like coming here on our way to Missouri to fish a few times a year. Tonight's visit is the last. Server was friendly, but seemed to want to laugh off the situation. Manager agreed that the steak was very thin and way overcooked, and knocked off a few bucks. Not enough to convince me to return. There's a reason the dining room was so empty during the dinner hour. Save your money and frustration and choose another restaurant. We will next time we're passing through.

Great food. Great service. Complementary peanuts and bread was nice as well. The honey with the bread was a nice touch.

Their Filet Mignon is as good as any I have ever had. I'm 62 years old and I've been eating Filet Mignon for over 40 years.

The furnishings, decor and spaces are well designed to be modern, contemporary and (comfortably) trendy. The food was high quality. We enjoyed Oysters Rockefeller and Pull Apart Crab Rangoon as appetizers. For our main course, we shared a cut of 16 oz Bison paired alongside a Wedge Salad with thinly sliced green apple that complimented the superb homemade blue cheese dressing. We also had Brussels sprout and asparagus. Our kids shared a fish n chips with Mac n cheese as the "chips!" We drank water with our meal. The drink menu was plentiful for those who enjoy alcohol - it was quite expansive and seemed to have something for every taste from wines and beers and cocktails/specialty drinks. We don't drink alcohol, so we cannot speak with the voice of having tried any of the adult beverages. The dessert menu looked nice, though we didn't save room at this meal to enjoy - we will save that for another time. The pricing was a bit more than one would normally spend in the River Valley - though the ambiance, food quality, menu selections and wow factor were all certainly outstanding and in a class apart from most any other restaurant in this area. By comparison - I would say BluPoint would compare to Oak or Ruth's Chris (both in Rogers, Arkansas and both specializing in steaks). Other comparables in quality and enjoyment factor would be Doe's Eat Place in Fort Smith and the location in Fayetteville (also steak houses). Finally - just a little below those mentioned above (in my view), I would say 21 West End and Stone House at Chaffee Crossing, both in Fort Smith would be comparable to BluPoint. Of course, the menu selections will vary from the places I've mentioned as comparable - BluPoint had two solid options for high quality meat (filet and bison), as well as several seafood options - which makes sense given their specialty. We met the chef and he was friendly and pleasant. His creations (that we tried) were very enjoyable. We paid $270, including a 20% tip for the selections described above - so definitely don't forget the wallet or you'll be washing a lot of dishes!

My husbands steak was WELL DONE when we specifically asked for medium rare.... Don't quite know how you mix those 2 up. Didn't offer to fix it.
