Wow there is a review of this place, out of sheer shock I feel compelled to add another. This is not a place for healthy eating or modern cuisine. It is located in a place that most of you will never visit but it does great hash browns. Admittedly your heart will probably feel like it's been dunked in fat and it will probably decrease your life span by five years but that's what rockstars like me do, we always dance with death. Worst customer service I have ever experienced, When I walked in and sat down the cashier said what are you doin , I said I'd like to get some food , she said it would be a wait (there is no one else in here) and I said that's fine then without giving me a menu she said what do u want , I had to get up and get a menu myself and look , then she asked if I want my orange juice now or with my meal cause a refill is 2.00. But her whole attitude changed when 2 African American people came in. I will not be coming back here and will not refer people here and it's sad because this location is beside our visitor center read more

I should have known better... ...when I arrived about 10AM on a Sunday morning and there was no line waiting for tables. Saturday and Sunday mornings at a Waffle House are always busy enough to have a line. But I told myself 'It's Mother's Day, so maybe that why the crowds aren't here. I was guessing that folks were thinking, let's take Mom somewhere more expensive on her special day.' Well, that might have been true, and it might have been they had eaten at this Waffle House in the past. I love to go to Waffle House. Good food, friendly hardworking staff, lots of food for the money. It's a great chain of restaurants, but if this had been my first visit to one I'd have never gone back. Slow service, sullen servers, food allowed to stay in the cooking area long enough to be delivered cool rather than warm. When my server finally delivered my Waffle she realized she had brought no "butter" and said she'd go get some--she never returned with it; and I know she didn't leave because she brought the check later--after I'd finished eating. I'm giving the place 2 stars instead of 1 because I like the chain. The great thing is it's not that far to get to the next one and avoid this one. read more

Our family of four arrived on Thursday around 8:30 am. Not very crowded. The server was very pleasant and helpful. All orange juice drinks cost the same small or large. Yay. Table and seat clean. Meal served timely with a smile. Chef asked how everything was. Cleared the table timely. Food was pretty good. Waffles sausage and hash browns for me. Omelet was so so for hubby. This is the worst Waffle House that I have ever visited. I am usually a Waffle House Fan. Had to ask twice to get drinks, brought order out a small amount at a time. Order was wrong, never got orange juice that I ordered. It wasn't busy. Never gave refill on coffee. Do they even train waitress's????silverware was sticky when she put it on the table. read more

Food was excellent, however Cee Cee sucked as a waitress. First of all, we were not greeted by anyone as we walked in which is highly unusual for any waffle house. She then acknowledged us by saying that she would be with us once she took the order of the people that came in after us. Not only did she take their order she began to cook their waffle and make their drinks as we patiently grew hungrier. When she came to our table, her cell phone began ringing so she answered it since she had her ear buds in and told us to hold on while she continued her conversation. So then she hurriedly took our order, never bringing drinks to us til after our meal when I asked again. And then never returned to our table to make sure we were ok or didn't need anythg. Needless to say, I tipped the cook for doing a good job. People like her don't belong in customer service of any kind. read more
