Before I start this review I know the casino industry outside of Vegas has changed because of 2020 and I know casinos struggle to keep services open so I am keeping this in mind when I wrote this. I was in town and staying at the casino's hotel across the street and they gave me a coupon to try out Bella's. So I did. When I went there the staff was very friendly and greeted me when I walked up. I ordered a basic burger and onion rings. The burger was okay but the onion rings were great. They were very fresh and hot. What turned me off is that my food was served in to go boxes and bagged up. I did not know if I felt welcome to eat in the dining area or I had to take it back to my car and hotel room across the street. It just seemed very impersonal and sad. read more

Ordered the Delta Burger, with regular fries. Worst. Burger. Ever. It tastes super reminiscent of (not good at all) school cafeteria soy burgers from back in the 80's. The only difference between the them would be the thickness of the patty. I took a second bite to just solidify what my brain and taste buds had already told me. This burger was 100% ewww. The fries were full of grease, cold, and soggy. I expected so much more than what I got. To say that I was disappointed would be a vast understatement. The spinach dip is tasty, but sometimes too greasy to swallow. The buffalo wings are very good. The pizzas are decent. The quesadillas are big, stuffed with veggies and meat, but not very flavorful. The steak and eggs are a hit or miss. Sometimes the ribeye is the most flavorful and best cooked steak, whereas other times, it may be over cooked and over salted. It's definitely a hit or miss for the steak. If it's a hit, and you're lucky....the steak will be delicious! The service actually needs major assistance. Customer satisfaction should be top priority, but it's not. read more

It's a great little cafe restaurant and bakery inside the AmeriStar Casino. Very open space. Limited menu of salads, sandwiches and best of all bakery goods! Yum Yum! Food menu is pretty good though, deli sandwiches, burgers, po'boy sandwiches, soups and salads. The service is pretty good. Very friendly. Restaurant was very clean. Price was great for service and food quality. Would highly recommend! read more

I ordered the chicken wings. 6 for $9. I thought that was expensive but I assumed they would come with carrots, celery and blue cheese dressing. So I splurged. Haha NOPE they are small overcooked wings all alone in a container with a packaged ranch dressing. So hard they are hardly edible. very disappointing!!!! read more

This is probably the most unfriendly venue that I've visited in a long time. All of the food outlets are closed at the Ameristar on Mondays. However, this place took rude to new levels on this visit. We stood and watch Stella and another employee stand at the register and talk about money (I wish I could have recorded this). After honestly a couple of minutes, we placed an order and was then told to go to a kiosk and print a ticket and return...the kiosk didn't work. So we went to the cashier's cage and ask them to print a ticket for us. She couldn't, but told us to go to yet another kiosk and we got this one to work. We returned to Bella's and placed our order at 1:31. At 1:48 we still hadn't received our Delta burger and shrimp po boy with fries and onion rings. But it finally arrived at 1:55 pm. The food was just OK. But when you consider the price, the food didn't measure up. I didn't have high hopes at all for this little bakery inside the casino. We were too late for any of the other restaurants. I grew up on fried seafood in New England so I am a bit of a snob. I had the most Amazing seafood basket!! Great service .. Big surprises all the way around!! read more

My gps took me to the wrong side of the street, the restaurant is actually inside the casino. At first glance, it looked like a cute little bistro. But after receiving my food, it felt more like greasy spoon. I had the philly cheese steak, and it had good flavor but it was quite greasy. My daughter had the four cheese pizza, which came on a thin crust. It was definitely cheesy, but the middle didn't taste cooked while the outside was burned. The texure was a little rubbery. The food looks good. However, the menu is small with not a lot of items. The menu is mostly sandwiches, with some pizzas and two salads. The service was just okay. read more

Nice comfortable cafe inside the casino with good food, great service. I had the Friday night rib special and hubs had the Philly cheese steak sandwich. We both ordered half-salads to go with our meal. Everything was delicious. I did find it odd that the baked beans that came with my ribs had ground beef in it, like in chili. I had never had it that way before but it was still delicious. I particularly liked that both the salad dressing and bbq sauce were served on the side. Service was great! Samantha checked on us regularly, refilled our drinks before we even needed to ask and dropped the check at the end of our meal. Wish we had room for dessert because they looked really good in the display case. We sat in the back room where you don't get the smoke from the gaming floor and it's less noisy. read more

I hadn't been to Ameristar Casino in over twenty years until tonight. After gaming for a few hours, I decided to get a bite to eat. I had the best burger ever from Bella's. I may come back just to eat. The service was also top notch as well. read more

Thought we'd try it out. Have to say we were both disappointed. The Steak sandwich and Cajun sub both lacked flavor. Really surprised with the Cajun sub cause the ingredients sounded good. Fries were ample and had good seasoning on them. Could have been an off day for them but, dont think we'll be returning here. read more

First time at Bella's. Service was good the waitress was very friendly. We were there early in the day so wasn't crowded at all sat at the bar. We ordered the delta burgers. They came out and we were like wow this looks like a great burger. BUT looks doesn't translate to taste. Burger was super bland had to coat in mustard just to make it taste better. Ate half and left the rest. Fries though were awesome. Just suggest maybe some Montreal steak seasoning or even Accent something to make the burger taste better. We ate here because the buffet isn't open on Mondays. We ordered salads promising "mixed greens". When the salad came, it had wet chopped iceberg lettuce instead. The salad was totally misrepresented. The waitress said, "That's all we got." I know Mondays may be slow but the entire experience felt like dining on Monday got you the weekend leftovers. read more

Decided to stop at the Ameristar Hotel at the last moment on the way home from Orange Beach Alabama. They informed us about their buffet that close at 9 p.m. and that Bella's was open until midnight. Bella's was a huge disappointment. Service was slow and Jasmine while friendly never came back to refill drinks we had to ask for the check she never cleared the plates off the table and grab the receipt before we have even left and as a former server we all know that is bad customer service. So my husband orders the Philly cheese steak it does not come with fries. My son gets the chicken strip basket which was plentiful, my daughter gets the seafood Basket in which the catfish was good the shrimp was Bland and the crab cakes tasted frozen, I get the Cajun Burger which is shrimp and sausage with Cajun Mayo on top of the actual cheeseburger. My shrimp was cold my fries were getting hard from sitting out so long the sausage taste like turkey sausage rather than the Cajun sausage on the menu as suggested. I suggest you never go to this restaurant and while I get it is inside a casino which was our first time there as well the service and food could be a thousand times better. read more
