Until this last trip I had never had the sandwich that made them famous. Now that I have, I can say that this is a must stop. Heck, it may be worth a drive if you are within an hour or two. The only thing you need to know is that you must order a fried green tomato BLT. In my entire life I have never intentionally ordered a BLT. To me, this is the most dumb idea for a sandwich I have ever heard of. Until now. This is quite possibly one of teh most perfect sandwiches I have ever had. It is so great that I wanted a second when I was done but it definitely would not have been as good later as it was fresh. Amazing. Service was as friendly as one should expect from a roadsie shack such as this.
