Waffle House, where? These things are all over the place in the south. This was my first time eating at one. The breakfast was good, nothing spectacular. If you want a quick breakfast, I believe this is a solid option. The service at this location was not spectacular, nor was the server super friendly, but I had coffee, food prepared in a timely fashion, was able to eat and move on with my day. Would I go back? First time trying a Waffle House and it's pretty damn good. We're on a road trip from Cali and we had to stop. The service was good too. I actually had a really good WH meal here, twice. I blame the cook, she looks like young Lori Petty in Tank Girl. Clearly takes pride in the food she cooks and is good at it. Hash browns were perfect and all the toppings were nicely cooked and chopped. No lumps in the grits. Worst service ever. Only giving 1 star because there is no option for no stars. We were 1 of 3 tables in the restaurant. Let me start by saying being from California my daughter and I were looking forward to eating at a waffle house since our first ecperience in one a year ago during a visit to Georgia. We wanted my husband to experience it as well. My husband has said if all Waffle Houses are like this one he doesn't want to eat at another one. Waitress was not pleasant at all, bordering on rude. When she brought mine and my daughter's drinks she said she was waiting on the coffee. No problem, until it never came. Half way through our meal my husband mentioned that he never got his coffee. Our waitress was leaning against the counter playing on her phone and had not even looked up in a good long time. I flagged down a gentleman that I'm assuming was a busboy. He asked another waitress and she told him to pour it. He brought the coffee and was gone before I could ask for cream. Other drinks were never refilled. We finished our meal and waited for several minutes for the check that never came. I had to get up and walk over to a group of 4 or 5 employees standing around talking to ask for the check. It was only after one of them called out to our waitress that she looked up from her phone. She came over and rang up our order and I paid. Needless to say her tip was greatly reduced due to the horrible or non existent service. She definitely was not interested in doing her job. I could have almost understood the lack of service if they had been busy but the had at least twice as many employees for the amount of filled tables. read more

Good food but they never answer the phone at all it's ridiculous. anytime you try to call you get sent to voicemail. if you go in right after you get sent to voicemail there arent even any customers in the restaurant just ignoring the phone to not deal with customers. read more

We stopped here while out of town and the service was quick and efficient. Our server was Memorie and she was very sweet! We changed our mind about an order a couple of times (while talking to her) but regardless she kept a smile on her face and our food came out correct. I like the fact the food was pretty consistent to what we are used to at home. No one wants waffle house's uniqueness to change! The only thing that was bad is that the bathrooms definitely needed attention. They were not too clean and there was no tissue or paper towels in the ladies' room. read more

While in town decided to have a late breakfast stopped here. Place was very quite doly so considered the time was 3am. The service was good, the food being in the south should have been a lil more flavorful but all in all ok. OMG. Well I knew it was a Waffle House when I pulled into the parking lot, but I wish I'd read some reviews before I made such an interesting decision. If I'd known how LONG it was going to take to be ACKNOWLEDGED, I would've set a timer when I walked in. As it was, by the time I thought to do so, it was two more minutes before one of the two busiest, actual WORKING waitresses apologized and said she'd be right with me. Six staff present - two cooks, three waitresses, and one woman arguing with one of the cooks. Nothing to make guests feel uncomfortable like an employee throwing a temper tantrum right out where everyone can't help but see it. Eventually she calmed down and later I saw her making waffles and washing dishes. Other than the floor show (and the WAIT), the food was tasty, and once my waitress could tend to me, I felt less invisible. So. If you're looking for a discreet, elegant dining experience, this place might not be for you. But if you don't mind a little human drama with your waffles, give 'em a visit. And bring your patience. Worst service ever. Sat in there for 10 minutes without anyone even speaking to me so I walked out. They don't care about their customers.

Poor service. Overcooked steak. Cheese steak sandwich had bacon on one half steak in the other and they forgot our salad.

Great food! I have lived in the south for 10 years now and this is the first time I have eaten at a waffle house. Wow I have been missing out. Ordered the Texas bacon cheesesteak melt with grilled onions. It was excellent. And the hash browns were some of the best I have ever had. The service was quick and friendly. The store was clean and looked well maintained even though it appeared to have been around for a while. read more

We certainly were not greeted with smile. Never saw one on our waitress' face. She never looked either of us in the face, never said hello, thank you, your welcome. She brought one order out and walked away in silence. She never brought our ticket. Then when we walked up to pay the bill she turned away and took money from a customer seated next to the register instead. The only positive was that the food was good.
