Also, this place prided itself on being a taste of the gulf, but steak frites, $20 2-taco plates, and fajitas really don't scratch that itch for me like the old menu did. If I wanted Tex-Mex, I'd go to one of the 15 Mexican joints in the area and save some money in the process. It doesn't help that basically all of my favorites--the brunch chicken & potato waffles, the boudin burger, the buffalo chicken fries, and a few seafood dishes--were casualties. I haven't been back for the weekend breakfast, but that probably isn't a bad deal if the menu sounds good to you. Very similar to Mexican food in Texas. Chocolate cake tasted like chemicals- not fresh. I really wanted to like this place as I really enjoy some good Cuban food but this place was a bit of a disappointment.
