The burgers were good but the fries were exceptional. One person in our group also had fish and chips and that was good too. One had brunch and ordered pancakes, and those were really good that we decided to go back for breakfast the next day. For brunch the next morning, we had the Lou Lou's Omelette and some waffles. Both were exceptional and really hit the spot. Service was excellent, all the servers always had smiles on their faces and were always attentive. When we visit Jasper again, we will surely stop by Lou Lou's!

Loulou's also serves pizzas, ranging from the basic to special pizza pies. My partner had the Loulou's breakfast, which includes two eggs, toast, potatoes, tomatoes and your choice of meats. I had the three-cheese omelette with potatoes and toast. Both dishes were very tasty and cooked to perfection. The ambiance of the restaurant almost looks like a 1950's dinner, and is super cool and very welcoming. Soft jazz music was playing while we were there, which made it relaxing as well. Service was excellent and spot on, very polite and professional. A must if you are in the area of downtown Jasper and even just passing through!! I look forward to returning to try their pizza.

The person taking order was very friendly, however the person serving was not so, but that doesn't matter as ice cream was so perfectly good. We tried Dark Vader and Strawberry Fields flavours. Dark Vader is dark chocolate ice cream with dark chocolate ice cream with dark chocolate chips. That has to be the BEST chocolate ice cream I've ever had in my life. Strawberry Fields is one of their hand made ice cream's and it's so dreamy creamy and so flavourful. Again I can say Best strawberry ice cream I have ever had in my life. Some of the fun of taking my granddaughter for ice cream disappeared when we hit a few obstacles inside. The first was no samples, which she wanted. They have signs all along the plexiglass ice cream wall stating no samples. The second obstacle was you pay before you order. You decide what size ice cream you want and pay the cashier, who gives you a poker chip to present to an ice cream scooper behind the plexiglass wall. I found having that procedure explained to me when I just tried to order an ice cream annoying. The third obstacle was dealing through the plexiglass wall. Me and the ice cream scooper ended up not on friendly terms. My scoop of Grandma's Caramel Machiano was very good and my granddaughter enjoyed her waffle cone of something. It is just a shame the shop has to be so restrictive so no one gets a taste or walks out with a scoop for free.

We got brunch here before going on a hike and because our sandwiches were so big we only ate half and ate the rest after our hikes. I got the vegan blt (note the tofu is marinated in soy sauce so it's not gluten free) on gluten free bread and they actually gave me 2 sandwiches because the regular bread is massive. My husband got the regular blt and thoroughly enjoyed it. We both got the side of potatoes and they were warm, crispy, and creamy all at once. We liked this place so much we even ordered online the next morning and picked it up on our way to Banff. If you have any food allergies - they're super helpful and knowledgeable about their food, so be sure to ask any questions!

We waited about 35 minutes and got seated at the bar. Service is warm friendly with great advice. The cocktail and cocktail game here is so strong and delicious! We started with the flatbread, which was completely devoured and the raven salad, which had complex textures and flavors. The bartender says she has it every day and I can see why... Incredible! I had the savory gratin vegetarian entrée, and my husband had the bison short ribs. Both of our dishes were incredibly flavorful! The meat just fell off the ribs, and both of our plates were completely cleared! Really don't love a wait but so glad we did for this incredibly memorable dining experience...
