Oh My! Seeing that 4.5 overall Yelp rating, I knew I was in a can't miss situation for a tasty breakfast and that is exactly what I was served! This place was maxed out to full capacity at 8:00 AM on a wintry Sunday morning. 5 minutes after we arrived, we were seated with a good cup of black coffee and a menu. Now the tough part, Watching the food go past me to the other tables made it difficult to decide what to order as those waffles did look fantastic! I ended up with biscuits and gravy sided by a Chili cheese omelet. ( I did mention it was wintry, right?) Portions were oh so large that we both left totally satisfied with a full meal serving of leftovers to microwave for our lunch back at the motel room. (yes, they were still spot on too!) This place popped up for breakfast options and once again, yelp did not let me down! Their waffles looked so delicious and loaded! Thankfully they have a half waffle option so we opted for that and an omelette. The omelettes come with your choice of biscuits and gravy, hash browns and toast or a waffle. Country Fried Steak and waffle. I heard a lot of good reviews so we tried it on a sunday, it was very busy 20 minute wait but the wait time inside before they took our order was a half hour. The steak was a very thin chop steak with lots of breading and about a cup of flour water with what looked like pepper but had absolutely no flavor. We tried a belgium waffle which had a huge ice cream scoop of some sort of butter I think? Which we took off and the waffle had no flavor even after we put the huckleberry water and sugar on it. The cheesecake waffle was nauseating with all the butter, runny frozen berries and some kind of creamcheese filling and tons of whip cream on it. We were in town for business, so wanted a good breakfast. Looked on Yelp and saw this business had several great reviews, so decided to give them a try. There was about a 20 minute wait on a Friday at 10am. Once seated, it took about 10 minutes to have our order taken. The food came out about 25 minutes later. My wife had a grilled cheese sandwich and chili. She liked her meal. I had eggs with sausage and a waffle. Unfortunately, the eggs were over cooked and the waffle was soggy and the food was warm at best. My coffee cup never went empty, as the staff was very attentive to that. read more

Breakfast professionals. Everything was good, and several items were great. Hashbrowns, in particular. You can tell they take a lot of effort in preparation--nice combo of creamy and crispy. They are not seasoned, and I do believe that is by design. My lovely wife hit them up with salt and pepp; my Mother-in-law doused them with maple syrup (she's from Maine); Dad used ketchup; and your's truly enjoyed them with Tabasco Verde. Great local breakfast place (also open for lunch but you really come here for breakfast). It can get a bit crowded especially on Sundays so be prepared for a wait. I personally don't ever go on Sundays. The wait can be upwards of an hour or more! I go to Hazels on Sunday. The food is absolutely delicious, my favorite breakfast is the chicken fajita omelett with a side of sausage. The omelette is huge, filled with chicken, peppers and cheese and served with salsa and sour cream. It comes with delicious buttery hashbrowns and toast (i get sour dough). The sausage is just so good I can't live without it so I pay extra. Its got a sausage like snap to it most breakfast sausages don't. I love them! My only issue besides the wait and the reason for one missing star is that my coffee cup goes empty way too often. Considering they have someone whose main job is to keep it full its a bit annoying. read more

Yummy!! Delicious!! Liked it so much we ate here twice while on vacation at Hells Gate State Park. The food was delicious and the portions hearty. I had the waffle combo both times. My husband had the meat lovers skillet and couldn't finish it as the portion was huge. The second time he ordered the French toast combo, substituting German sausage. I had had not a waffle in a very long time and since this place is called 'Waffles 'N More', I knew I had to get a waffle. I decided on a Whole Banana Nut Waffle, and it was amazing! I had the whipped cream on the side. But seriously, the waffle was good on its own. Soft waffle with the crunch of pecans and almonds...mmmmhmmmm. I also tried the Country Fried Steak Skillet. I had debated whether to get this or the waffle. Oh my god. It was soooooo gooooood. The potatoes! The POTATOES! Not to mention you get heaps of food for such a small price. The only downside is I didn't get to try more items on the menu! I was in town and looking for a great breakfast and reviews looked promising. I was going to get my food as takeout to go back to our hotel. I called and the lady who answered greeted me and then I placed my order. I saw on the menu corn beef hash and that looked like a nice switch up from the usual bacon or sausage. She suggested that I order my waffle as a breakfast plate with eggs, hash browns, and corn beef hash because it would be less expensive this way than to get my waffle and a side of corn beef hash. I thanked her for the suggestion and ordered a fruity waffle and a chocolate peanut butter waffle with the eggs, hash browns, and corn beef hash. She told me it would be ready in 20 min. When I arrived the place was very busy and there was a sign on the door asking for patience because they can only serve at 50% capacity. I walked in and every single table was full, not a single front end employee was masked, yet curiously all of the cook staff were masked. I guess their concern of covid spreading is limited to food prep staff and not the wait staff. Also, the only customers that were masked were those waiting for take out. Obviously, masks are not expected when eating, but no one even had one with them when they left. Maybe customers felt confidence based on the service staff being unmasked. I realize we are seeing covid numbers begin to decline, but the staff and the restaurant being at 100% capacity seems unwise and that it's asking for a future problem. The food was bagged nicely with condiments and I got it about 35 min after I ordered it. When I got to the hotel and started to eat. I opened the container with the corn beef hash and it looked exactly like the Hormel canned hash and tasted like it too. I was very disappointed. I'm glad the order taker suggested I get the combo plate, because if I had paid the menu price of $3.50 and was given Hormel canned hash, I would have been even more disappointed. The hash browns were flavorless and the eggs were basic. The waffles were definitely the highlight and what bumped them up to 3 stars for me. My peanut butter waffle was very good and the flavor of the waffle was very good and was not lost in the flavor of peanut butter and chocolate. The fruity waffle was topped with previously frozen strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries and whipped cream. Although defrosted fruit is not ideal, it was flavourful and I'm glad it wasn't the weird gelatin fruit goo that many restaurants use. My son loved his waffle. Go to Waffles and more for the Waffles and not for "the more". Just please make sure you are healthy and don't have covid before going since the management doesn't seem to care about the liability an outbreak can be for their business. It makes me wonder what other health corners are being cut when they throw caution to the wind regarding covid. read more

Carol our waitress was wonderful, but the manager, not sure what her name was because she conveniently didn't have a name tag on, argued with us about how long we waited. She insisted it was only 38 minutes, but we waited 20 minutes to be seated, so not sure why she felt the need to argue. Anyway, we ended up leaving to go eat somewhere else.
