My doggies love seeing Shannon! She runs a very straightforward business with no fluff (pun intended) lol. Our dogs are always perfectly groomed in a timely manner and sometimes even come home with little bows or sparkly adornments which I love. We've been coming here for about a year now. Our little Athena is the newer member of our family. She was abandoned and found on the streets by my husband last April 2023. After getting her medically cleared, and adopted we took her to Shannon. I've left a review of this place before (5 stars btw) They have a new owner now. The owner got lazy to brush my dogs hair and shaved him all. I was upset because schnauzers shouldn't be all shaved and their hair takes some time to grow in, so it ended in a half haircut after talking to a few people that have the same experience I picked him up half way through his haircut. Just beware, the vibe of the environment changed after the precious owner couple left. The new owner isn't pleasant and her attitude isn't great. We got into an argument, she criticized my dog. She threatened to report me for my dog not being neutered (which he's registered so I'm a registered breeder). I told her to go for it and she told me to get out. If you'd like a groomer that has no compassion for pets or people than this is the place! read more

If you are looking for a reputable groomer stay far away from here. This shop will bate and switch you by telling you one price and charging way more. Then they will try to justify the price by adding additional services and fees without notification. There was no transparency on their end. There was never a breakdown in price, only an estimate that was far less than the actual price, which for me was $65-$85 per dog. We were charged $260 for two dogs. I understand Doodles are expensive and there could be extra charges for matting but to call and get a quote, verify at the groomers and have them check, and then told differently at pickup is unacceptable. It even went as far as us arguing with the owner because she stated "a Bernedoodle is not Doodle and they require a different level of care than a doodle." What does that even mean?!?! Then to add that she has clients who would GLADLY pay $200 per dog and don't even bat an eye lash. That was kind of insulting. Everyone's circumstances are different and if the situation had been handled differently we probably would of just kept looking for a groomer who was more in our price range and that was transparent. The quality of the groom was adequate but not outstanding. One Dog got a scissor cut, that was not asked for, and the legs did not match. We were blamed that our other dog had a "huge chunk of hair missing" around the mouth. Honestly, I feel the groomer messed up and wouldn't take responsibility. Regardless to say we will never return or recommend this place to anyone. read more

Apparently, Shannon was offended that I brought my dog in off-leash. We were the first clients of the day, ten minutes early, no one else in the place, so I didn't think it would be an issue. I put his leash on as soon as she said to him, "Do you have a leash?". Then she acted irritated that I brought my own shampoo for his sensitive skin. He's a mini Australian Shepherd. I know his pantaloons and rear legs had mats. She said they needed to be shaved. I said fine. But she agreed to cut the rest of him to about an inch. This is important because we're going back to cold, winter weather for several more months. When I picked him up he was completely shaved down. Apparently, Shannon doesn't care because she knows we don't live in Vegas. But we do come twice a year and will find another groomer. $140. Don't bother to apologize. As you can see from Karen's response, I mean Shannon, she lied about other dogs being there before 8 am and also failed to mention why she shaved my dog's entire body when only his pantaloons, hind legs and ear mats needed it. I highly recommend you take your dog elsewhere. People are outraged when I tell them what they charged to turn my beautiful Australian Shepherd into an ugly mutt. Rest assured, she'll have some explanation. In complete honesty, this was my fault. When Shannon started acting like a wingnut I should have taken my dog and left. This would have avoided this entire disgusting situation. read more

First time trying to use this company. Our experience was terrible, but they have been in business for long time so maybe it was an exception. Short story: dropped dog off and had to go back in 10 minutes to pick up because dog was misbehaving. Our dog is extremely well behaved and never aggressive. He has been to groomers dozens of times with zero issues. Woman groomer was noticeably grim and short tempered. She was abrupt, rude, and dismissive to us when we retrieved dog. Obviously she did something to threaten our dog and his behavior was a response. Would never use this busy unless I met the groomer and made sure she/he/them was in proper frame of mind to work with our dog! Addendum: took dog to another groomer hour after leaving Wag N Tails and they said our dog was perfect angel. Problem at Wag N Tails definitely the groomer there, not our dog. read more

After arguing with my Aunt and insinuating she's a liar, an employee found the collar and brought it over. Did the owner apologize? Nope! She just started walking away.
