My dog was groomed at LuLu a week ago. When she got home she didn't want to be touched and stood in one place for 10 or 15 minutes just looking at the wall. She wouldn't sleep on the bed at night either. She would flinch when I touched her or tried to get her to sit with me. I took my dog to the vet and was told she was suffering from razor burn on her stomach and prescribed a spray to cool the affected area. The spray worked and she is almost back to normal. I will never take a pet of mine to be groomed at LuLu ever. read more

We've taken our dogs to Lulu's for several years. They've been ok & always seems like a lot of dogs. Average time was a minimum of 4 hours with the most 6 that our dogs have been there. Today though was the best experience we've had with Lulu's. We took both our girls in a veteran to Lulu's and a 9 month old pup (her first time at a groomer). The staff was extremely nice & talked us through what they were wanting to do with the puppy (to get her used to the environment). They both were done after 1 1/2 hours! The look amazing. Overpriced and not skilled don't know how to groom only took a hour to groom my dog which I thought was way too quick. Charged me $90 just to shave him to the skin when I specifically said I don't want his hair to the skin and then they ended up hurting my baby cutting him on his neck. I even asked the groomer if you guys cut him because she made me sign a waiver saying she had to use a 10 blade on him and she lied to me said no showing me she cut him AFTER I PAID. I also told them he was matted but he wasn't that badly matted to the point he needed to get shaved to the skin they didn't even try to brush him out. What's the point of taking him to the groomer if you're just gonna shave him to the skin and charge $90 for it which is absolutely absurd. Don't take your dog here. They don't care about your dog. I have had trouble finding a groomer to work on my senior dog because he has bad back legs and can't stand for long. I went into Lulu's just because I happened to be walking by and it worked out great. They are scheduling a couple weeks out, which wasn't a big deal for me, but if you are looking for a last minute appointment, that might be an issue. I took Dutch in at his scheduled time and they got him right back. I had to sign a waiver basically stating I understood they might not be able to fully groom him due to his age and I was still on the hook for paying them, but that's better than the places who refused to even look at him. They told me it would be about three hours, but they called me to pick him up in two hours. I was afraid they hadn't been able to finish him, since it was such a short time, but when I picked Dutch up he was completely trimmed with his nails clipped, and with a little fall bandana on. I'm not picky about Dutch's haircuts, so I can't really say for sure if it is better or worse than any other cut he has gotten, but everything was trimmed up nicely, and I really appreciated that they were able to work around his injuries and still do a decent job grooming him. Wow! This place is absolutely amazing! I have 2 chow chow puppies. Most groomers will not take chow chows because of their bad reputation. So I decided I was going to groom them myself. I have groomed them since they were 8 weeks old but now that they are getting older and bigger, let's just say the hair is just too much for me to handle. My sister in law told me about her groomers place. She said they do "express" grooming. The pups never go into a crate. As soon as you walk in, they take them right into the back and start bathing and grooming them. Then they call you when they are ready for pick up. This was the first time my dogs have been professionally groomed so I was pretty scared and nervous. I didn't know how one of my fearful pups would react. They told us that it should be 11/2 to 2 hours tops since this is their first time, but within an hour they were done! They look amazing!!!! Our groomers names were Tabby and Leiyah. They were so nice. When we first got there, they literally came outside, sat on the floor and got to know our dogs before they took them back to get groomed. They really took the time to get to know them and their personalities. I highly recommend this place and I will be back even though I live clear across town. I took my Standard Poodle, Vega for her first "all in groom" at 7.5 months old. I had already trimmed her a few times with all that puppy hair so her length wasn't too long, but I still wanted a "poodle" look since, even with a shaved face, people kept asking if she was a doodle of some kind. lol. Extremely disappointed with this place, honestly one of the worst dog groomers I've ever taken my dog too. I had an appointment for my dog at 9 AM and I picked him up around 1:15pm. I had to go work and i couldn't wait any longer. Have a job thus why I scheduled him first thing in the morning. I didn't receive a call or anything and that's well over the 2 to 3 hour mark, that they said that it would take. When I went to pick up my dog first off, they didn't even know where he was, and they took a minute to even find him. He was literally just sitting in the crates in the back UNGROOMED still. They didn't even start grooming my dog yet. He was only bathed and at that point . SO HE LITERALLY SAT IN A CRATE FOR 4 1/2 HOURS JUST CHILLING FOR NO REASON HORRIBLE PLACE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. They can't follow appointment times so why even have them set if you're just gonna neglect them? Be a better business and get groomers that know how to read appointment times. read more

The worst grooming our pup has ever had. I don't think the groomer ( Dawn) used a whitener , his torso looked like it had been washed but not his head including his mouth nor rear end! I called to talk about our experience and they asked me to bring him back and I did , when I picked him up after the redo all she had done was cut the stained hair around his mouth shorter and the same with the rear end. I give 3 stars because staff is very nice. My dog was looking rough and did need a groom but when I look at my dog I am not even sure if she was bathed ? She had poop stuck in her butt still and parts of her hair that were very long were cut but other parts I did myself look just the same when I got her back. Her hair should be straight with a blow out but I realize she was still curly so I question everytime I see her what was actually done ? I waited 4 hours for a trim in a couple areas . I wish I could just be refunded and bummed I saved up for this. The holding area is shared so there were some dogs that were more aggressive in the bunch. 3 stars because staff is pleasant but grooming wise I would have personally gave less. read more

Overpriced and unprofessional. Had a 9am appt. I got there at 8:50, it was locked (they open at 9, understandable.) But there was someone inside. Waited 10 min till they open, go in, they say oh today her groomer called in and we would have to reschedule. They couldn't have called first thing this morning?? So I say okay, annoyed but understand, and try to reschedule. They're booked for a month out. I was like well is there someone else I could go to or even get in today for just a bath. They said no. Then I was like okay no one else is available this week, and they said I could come back at noon today. I asked if I could leave her there till noon cause I was heading somewhere and they said it was $25 boarding fee. I was like wait but it's your mistake. They said nevermind the noon is taken and I could come back in a month.... After asking other friends and family for other groomers they would recommend, they all said they had the same experience at Lulus with a groomer calling in last min, then trying to charge boarding fees, and/or just being "booked" too far out. Only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one, is when we went our dog did get an okay groom. read more

Came here about a month ago to groom my husky. Service was OK at best. I requested a deshed, nail trim, and paw pad shave but the paws weren't shaved at all. I also requested that the long hairs near his butt be clipped. They were clipped but not the best I've seen whatsoever. The deshed was OK but I still had to continue deshedding him about two days later as there will still many loose hairs. They did do a good job on the bath though - my dog smelled really clean and had a shiny coat. read more
