Had an appointment with them today originally between 4-5PM. Yesterday they asked if I could meet sooner but with my schedule I only could only adjust to 3:30PM. Which is fine. I live by one of the groomers, when she cleans out their van instead of vacuuming all pet hair they blow it out. It's gets EVERYWHERE. All over our back yard. On windy days you just see fur flying all over the place. It reaks of wet animal because they hose down their van right in the street. We do not have pets because my child has severe allergies to pet dander/fur and he can hardly even play outside anymore because when he does his asthma starts acting up and gets cough attacks. The first person couldn't control her and she took off running after the grooming, getting dirty all over again as well as injuring her leg. The last one said the dog would not allow her to clip her nails. I held the dog so that she could clip two of the nails but, I'm sorry, why are you a groomer who cannot control a dog long enough to clip nails? This dog has been getting groomed for 14 years, and while she doesn't like these new and always different groomers who arrive, she is used to the services. I had the opportunity to have Cortez as the groomer to service my dog, Watson. Initially, I was hesitate because I have not heard of anyone experiencing a mobile groomer before. I was desperate to get my 9 month year old puppy a cut. In my previous experience, I had Watson groomed at a salon. Since he was younger than one year, they informed me they could only trim him. When I would pick up Watson he would be wet! The groomers told me that he was afraid of the blow-dryer. While I was driving, I saw this van and decided to give it a try. I called The Dirty Dog, and I was scheduled an appointment a week in advance. When they didn't answer, they sent a text saying that they would call me back shortly. This was great because I didn't have to wait on the phone or listen to elevator music. The day before the service, they message you to confirm the appointment. The day of the service, Cortez messaged me 30 minutes prior to the appointment to notify me that he would be on his way. To my relief, he was able to give Watson a full haircut, nail-trim, ear clean, full wash, and anal gland! The best part was that Watson did not seem afraid of the blow-dryer! He was able to make it to the end of the service. This made me really happy. I do believe that the inside of his ears were waxed inside a little more, but overall I had a great experience. read more

Groomer- Cortez I am speechless on how jacked up this groomer left my Corgi. My wife requested for our Corgi to have low cut hair on her belly since Corgis are lower to the ground and low cut on her rear end for when she uses the restroom. And to give her a small trim through the rest of her body. This groomer sampled trim on the belly and we agreed. He then was instructed to do a light trim thoroughly on my Corgi. On November 12, I heard something drop outside of my apartment. I live at 10151 Dorrell Lane, Las Vegas, Nevada 89166. When I turned around, I saw one of your employees and the people that lives in the apartment above me throwing an extension cord up to their balcony. I have a glass table on my patio. That is what the extension cord hit. I walked outside to see if anything was damaged. Thankfully, nothing was damaged. I don't even use this service but for a some unknown reason, I was verbally attacked by one of their drivers today. The driver in question had just past by another car and the two of them started exchanging words. They were obviously upset with each other but, eventually, the other car drove away. It was at this point the driver of 'You Dirty Dog' vehicle spotted me and started screaming at me from his van ... "Mind my own f***ing business"...approx a half dozen times ! Then I had them come back for a bath and brush only and they still charged $90 per dog for a quick bath that took less than an hour. Also all of my dogs still had mats behind their ears and they sent different people both times, neither of which seemed like actually dog groomers. Really disappointing! read more

David groomed both my dogs. One a Bishon mix and a Yorkie mix. I like puppy cuts on both cause they hate to be brushed. David was on time,friendly, and gentle. This mobile grooming service is excellent! I had my 18-year old long haired Maine Coon cat groomed in mid-May and it was a great experience. Josie was the groomer and she was on time (actually she was 5 minutes early). She was very professional and cares about the well-being and safety of my cat. Scheduling was not a problem, I called and I got booked right away. Josie came to my door to discuss what services were needed prior to me taking my cat out to the van. She asked a lot of very good questions and I felt pretty good about giving my cat to a new groomer. He is a senior kitty so he has some old age bumps and is very cantankerous especially when it comes to haircuts, but the groomer handled him very well. She was done in less than an hour which was very impressive. The lion cut looked fabulous, and I had her just towel dry him because the dryers would probably scare or agitate him. He usually has a major attitude with me several hours after being groomed (you know the usual, hissing, swatting, mmmrrrraaaaaaaah!) but this was a completely different situation. He was like a new cat! He didn't hiss or throw a cat tantrum at all after his haircut. I was really pleased with the results. They are reasonably priced for long haired cats also, and it is so convenient that they come to your door (one less stressful event for the cat and the owner!) I had my brothers dog (Sofie - an Australian Shepherd) groomed yesterday 7/8/18 by a You Dirty Dog groomer named Brea. I have never used her before and nor does she know what she's doing. I was the last appointment of the day and it was clear she was in a rush. I explained to Brea that I know Sofie has a few matted hair patches and that I still want her to look like an Australian Shepherd with her long coat. Brea said she would have to de-shed her by brushing and blowing the hair out. She also said that keeping their coat allows them to cool which I already knew. I asked can Sofie get her hair trimmed up with minimal cut off to still have the look of an Aussie Shepherd (not like the horrible pictures attached), she said yes and proceeded to show me the small length she could cut off and I was ok with that because it was a minimal trim. An hour later I get a knock on my door with a completely shaved dog. I looked in disbelief... Brea said Sofie had mats on her back end and shaved her completely. Why would she not come to my door and give me a couple options of what can be done?? Don't just shave my brothers dog like that especially after telling me it's better to keep their coat on as it cools them down. Who does that...? I called the owner Kim today and explained to her what had happened and all I got was a big empathetic sorry from her and she'll put no Brea into my customer account notes. No compensation was offered. I'll never use this groomer again. Business lost. Please see attached pictures of Sofie. The only person who knows what they are doing at You Dirty Dog is Dave. He's one of the groomers there. "IF" you have to use You Dirty Dog ask for Dave he knows what he's doing and at least he actually cares and is polite. read more

Do you want to reschedule? No, my dogs come first, I tried to be nice so my dogs will feel better in this heat, "Jamie" came over with his 3 kids I told him to give them puppy cuts, shave them down very short - the cut was short (no cuts) but he didn't shave the ears I guess it's what ever he wants to do not what I asked. I asked for a receipt, he has no paper receipt but can email me one OK, I gave him my MC he tried to take a picture of it but it didn't work so I give him my debit card again tried to take a picture of it, didn't work someone will call you tomorrow. Was very excited to find a mobil groomer for our dogs. Sent email yesterday and heard right away they had a cancellation and could be at our home at 3pm today, 8/19/18. Great! 3:15pm, still no one at our home OR call/ text to let us know the reason why running behind . I sent a text to same numbers that contact me.
