If you are lucky to get an experienced staff member it won't be terrible, but over all the assistants are unprofessional. I had back to back appointments. They were late to the first appointment, took a long time to complete it. My dog was taken out of the room for a long time for a seemingly basic check up. When I came back for my next appointment that they scheduled back to back they said I was late and had to reschedule. No humanity, no care for the animals just someone on their phone never looking up telling me too bad. This used to be a good place but it just has fallen because of their hires. Clearly their better staff went elsewhere.

My little…read moreboy and I took our kitty to the vet and my little boy brought along his stuffed Curious George - the new vet, Dr Andrew Gestrich, was AMAZING with my little boy. He asked him if he wanted George to get an X-ray and my son was excited about that. I thought he would leave the room with George for a few minutes and then come back but he left and then came back asking us to follow him. He had George lying on the X-ray table and had taken an X-ray of George. This made my little boy's night. He was, of course, extremely good with my kitty too but he sure made an impression on my little boy and I. I'm so happy to have him as our new vet!!!!! Best vet ever!!!!

Lisa was always at the front desk and knew everyone and their pets. Their follow-ups were out of this world. Then it became VCA. Urgent call for help "Ohhh I'm sorry your pet is bleeding. We can see them the Tuesday after next" "Is your pet a current patient? Oh? I don't see them here" (they had an exam a week prior and we needed a refill of their special diet food) I abhor this place. It gives me chills when I drive by it. Dr. Nick is so caring, patient, and understanding. Often he's returning calls until 8pm and has given his personal cell phone number if there are any issues post sedation, regardless of procedure. From tumor removal surgery to dental cleaning he calls to check on our pets. He will also ask about how my parents are doing and their pets when I go for a visit with mine. Colleen is fantastic with grooming. My long haired cats would get shaved in the summer so they were more comfortable and she always made them look so adorable and smell so nice. She's also so kind and compassionate, plus prompt with returning calls. If there is a specialized surgery Dr. Nick can't do, he has always referred me to excellent surgeons. For end of life issues, the staff are above and beyond caring and loving. This doctor truly seems to love his work and it will be such a loss whenever he does retire. Making…read morethe decision to euthanize an elderly pet is not an easy one to begin with, and to not even receive acknowledgment on such a sensitive matter is disheartening. I contacted 3 other in home service providers only after waiting 36 + hours for at the very least an acknowledgment , all of which got back to me within hours of me contacting them. This goes a long way in this type of practice. While I understand an immediate response isn't always feasible, i Am still sitting here, my animal now over the rainbow bridge with no call back.
