Putting a dog down is gut wrenching and this clinic couldn't have been more compassionate. They have a quiet room with carpeting, a small loveseat and it feels like a home. We were able to be in that space with our dog as she was put down. It's a small detail but compared to a typical metal table exam room it made a huge difference. They gave us time, listened, and explained everything. Their kindness made a horrible situation a bit better and while I don't wish that situation on anyone, if you must, I couldn't recommend them higher.

"He has a MASSIVE tumor on his heart." One week later, he is gone. 1k to put him to sleep. So today I had to bring my senior kitty, 17.5 years old. Needed a thyroid level check and BP check. $500. HUH? Oh, the doctor decided to do an XYZ blahblahblah test. Oh, really? Did anyone come and ASK ME? Nope! Absolutely OUTRAGEOUS. Doc wouldn't come out to speak to me, but sent Miss NonBinary, who proceeded to tell me THEY are the experts and THEY know this, that and the other. But did they consult me? NOPE! Just give us your money because we decided to do these tests and we are the experts. AND we will not give you refills on your pet's medicine anymore. Oh, really... Well, let me apologize to the young woman checking me out, because I am sure she will have nightmares about me tonight. I told them straight up how absolutely disgusting they are for trying to pull that shit. As an aside, while I was waiting, an older gentleman came in trying to return prescription shampoo. While most of the staff has been wonderful, I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Bobadilla when I brought my sick chihuahua in for a visit. Unfortunately, Dr. Bobadilla's bedside manner is lacking. I felt dismissed and hopeless during my visit. Other than a few "I'm so sorry" statements there was a lack of empathy and communication when it came to explaining my pet's condition and treatment options. It left me feeling uneasy and very angry about the care being provided. I took her to another provider the same day. This veterinarian was able to help me stabilize her with at home care, subcutaneous fluids that I am administering daily and even recommended a dietary change. None of this was addressed with Dr. Bobadilla. Dr. Bobadilla recommended euthanasia and even asked if I wanted to do it then and there. The audacity! I understand that everyone has a different approach, but it was a stark contrast to the kindness, professionalism and old school approach I experienced with Dr. Chapman over the years with my four dogs. On a positive note, the rest of the clinic staff are always friendly, attentive, and professional. Due to this incident I have decided to move my pets elsewhere. I hope Dr. Bobadilla works on improving communication and compassion when interacting with pet owners.

I contacted 3 other in home service providers only after waiting 36 + hours for at the very least an acknowledgment , all of which got back to me within hours of me contacting them. This goes a long way in this type of practice. While I understand an immediate response isn't always feasible, i Am still sitting here, my animal now over the rainbow bridge with no call back.

Is it the families of the sick patients? Is it the poor families not knowing what to do with their pets? thank god for the tech/resident who told my daughter that the endoscopy may not reveal. what the underlying issue is. It may be cancer. After looking at her pup looking being so emanciataed.she decided to end his life.
