I am strictly rating the pizza that we picked up as 5 stars. I didn't get to experience the service, the restaurant or anything else. But HOT DAMN! This pizza is amazing! I really only like this style of pizza. The thin crust, cut into squares. We ordered a sausage & banana pepper and it was soooo good. The cheese is what made it for me. They load the cheese on and it's so ooooey gooooey amazing. Next time I am visiting my friends in Chisago I am definitely coming back to Wagon Wheel for pizza! read more

Solid family style northern Minnesota restaurant. Stopped in for a late breakfast on Saturday. Immediate seating and the restaurant was mildly busy. Service is outstanding. When we first pulled in, we were mildly concerned as the exterior is tired. But we trusted Yelp and walked in. The service is swift and pleasant. Best local pizza! The crust is hand tossed, crispy and bubbly. Take out or delivery, a must. Breakfast all day long. They recently updated the interior, which is really nice, comfortable and also added some outdoor courtyard tables. Another plus is that they deliver anything on the menu, which is great for those that want other items than pizza. There is another local pub that delivers, and advertises home made crust. My big fat crazy family eats at the WW at a pretty regular interval when we get together. The food isn't fancy-no foam, no "aiolie" or craft beer-but the food is very good. I've had many things such as the spaghetti, burgers, and the pizza, but my favorite are the omelets. They are generous in size and the amount of goodies inside does not disappoint. My family gathers for a family reunion every Summer in Lindstrom, and some relatives and I just found this great place this year! We had breakfast both mornings we were there, and each day it was delicious, solid, and exactly what you want breakfast to be before you spend the day expending all your energy on a tube behind a boat. I had the eggs benedict on the second day and it's as good as any brunch I've had in Chicago. The place was full of regulars, and the whole experience is a great piece of middle America. This is the filthiest restaurant I've ever seen. Another local from the liquor store assured me that the kitchen was clean so I decided to give it a try. I ordered food, picked it up and went home. When I got home i found out I was missing some of the food I had paid for. I called the store. No apology but they did refund my card for the missing items (or so they said). The burger was ok but the fries tasted like fish. I hope I don't get sick. If you're ever in the area and hungry for burgers go to The Northern or McDonald's. read more
