A night going out on-the-town and we were driving by the Wagon Wheel. I have seen that place for years and it looks like a Dive Bar should look. My wife another couple decided to try it for the first time. Years ago it was said to me to be a biker bar but I saw no bikes and no bikers in the bar. It was a typical dive bar but much larger inside than I expected. They had several pool tables and a really long shuffleboard table. They had a Ladies pool tournament going on so we played shuffleboard. I asked for quarters at the bar and they said it was free and you didn't have to pay. I have not been to a bar where you didn't have to pay for the games. I am not sure of the Pool tables as they were occupied the entire time we were there. We had a blast, what a fun bar. The shuffleboard game was great and the solid pucks with the sawdust dusting on the table made for a challenge to keep them on the table. It took a very light touch to send them down the table. Again, we had a blast. I have not gone out to a bar in a long time and it brought back memories. I will certainly go back here again.

This was the BEST atmosphere in SR. Mr Jason was an exceptional bar tender, making the best adios motherf*ck*r. I will miss it here everyday. I cannot wait until our next visit. The menu here is awesome with pork rinds available. Great energy throughout the bar. Plenty of room to line dance. If you are lucky, you can meet the bars mascot, the one eyed white crusty pup. See you soon! #mikelit

Wagon Wheel is as honest and authentic as you could ask of a neighborhood bar. Seeing Rob, the owner, is a real treat. He's a fantastic bartender and a pleasure to talk to. Also, Luke is a new bartender that's brought in new energy and great charm, definitely consider yourself lucky if you catch his shift. If you're looking for a stuff drink and some great conversation in a room that doesn't take itself too seriously, this is the spot. Also: one of the finer Bloody Marys in town.

    Pretty neat spot...

I just started going to Final Edition (in the Larkfield area of Santa Rosa) for Monday night…read moretrivia. I've lived most of my life here in town and never ventured in until I noticed they had trivia. This is a cool little bar. Staff has been friendly and outgoing each of my visits. I haven't purchased food, but I've been with people who have and it looks pretty dang good. Cocktails are a little less inexpensive here too, compared to those upscale places you might get a drink at (they're probably better here too). Obvious win there. There are a few local beers on tap, to go along with the national brands. Ambiance is like you'd expect in a place like this...neon bar signs, pool tables, plenty of stools at the bar and a few tables to sit back and eat. I also noticed besides trivia, they have bingo, karaoke and occasional live music. I kind of dig this place. I kind of have to go back...I won a gift card while playing trivia!!

We came with a regular on a Monday around 1pm and were seated in a dining area beyond the pool tables. We ordered Modelos ($13/each) and service from the bartender was quick. They are known for their burgers as the chef used to work at Roger's Drive In (famous in Santa Rosa). Husband ordered the Monday special meatloaf, which was Billy Moore's (owner Patrick's uncle) famous recipe. It was huge and served with mashed potato for $13.50. Husband said it was moist and delicious. I had the Reuben sandwich on marble rye with onion rings. Reuben was large and served with sauerkraut and Russian dressing for $13.50, plus $3.50 for the onion rings. It was very tasty and quite filling. The onion rings were golden brown and served with a nice ranch dressing (maybe homemade). The bar was very nice except the ladies bathrooms which was a little run down but still clean (the reason for minus one star). If I lived in the area, I'd definitely go there for lunch. I understand it's a younger, rowdier crowd at night with live bands.

Where else can you get 2 eggs, 2 bacon, a hashbrown, and toast for around $7--and it's all delicious and filling? We actually drive all the way from Rohnert Park just to eat here now, because it's that good. Last month my son asked for breakfast from Crystal's Corner, so we called in our order. When we arrived, they almost handed us a nearly identical order but quickly caught it and made sure we got the correct one--great attention to detail and service. As we walked out, we ran into my ex-husband and daughter picking up food too... great minds think alike! Best donuts. Best hashbrowns and eggs. The staff is always friendly, the place is clean, and the prices are amazing. Crystal's Corner is a true local gem and a place we'll keep coming back to for many more years. Highly recommend! 10/10

Yesterday, I went in with my two kids, and the young girl working the cashier, who appeared to be no older than 14 or 15, was extremely rude from the moment I placed my order. She made facial expressions as if helping me was an inconvenience and acted annoyed the entire time. When I stood up to check if our food was ready, she brought it to the counter on a plate. I politely asked if she could please package it to go. She then rolled her eyes at me and walked away into the kitchen. At that point, I was furious--not just as a customer, but as a parent. My 10-year-old witnessed the entire interaction. When she returned, I calmly but firmly told her: "If you're not happy working here, you shouldn't be. You do not roll your eyes at people who are supporting your business" I understand teenagers have attitudes, I was one once. But that is not an excuse, especially when you are the face of a family business. Basic respect and customer service should be non-negotiable. Because of this experience, I will never come back to this establishment. Allowing teenagers with this level of disrespect to work the counter completely ruined what was once a place we loved.

Beautifully updated, this bar has slowly became one of my favorite hidden gems in downtown SR. The bartenders are always so professional, friendly and attentive. I love the signature and seasonal drinks they offer, always creative and heavyyyy (no complaints). Since the place just reopened recently, it's still on the quieter side, not overcrowded and not loud making it easier to socialize compared to other bars in the area. There's board games and a pool table which adds to the laid back social vibe. We've been in a few times and always end up staying longer than expected lol. 100/10 this upscale bar is a perfect little hideout.

I ordered one drink, and it was pretty good. The only downside was the service. The bartender wasn't very personable, and I didn't really feel welcomed. To be fair, it was the start of the shift, so maybe they were just getting settled in or simply having an off day. We all have those days, so I'm trying not to judge the experience too harshly. I usually like to give places a second chance because one visit doesn't always tell the whole story. The drink showed promise, and I'm hopeful my next visit will leave a better overall impression. Looking forward to seeing how the experience compares the second time around.
