I have not been to Luigi's in a while. We went around noon and it was not busy and we received good service but not great. The waitress treated us promptly and took our order without writing anything down. Maybe she should have as I asked for wheat toast but received white and the other member with me as for an English muffin but we had to get her attention after she dropped everything off at our table. She was sitting so obviously had forgotten as she had to get up and go to the toaster and grab an English muffin to toast. The other person had pancakes and bacon and they were good, and I had a potato scramble. It was OK, nothing outstanding although the portion was larger than I expected. The coffee we ordered was just above warm but tasted good. I would eat here again if someone else wanted to but would not go out of my way to come back. The interior was very dated and several torn cushions and backrests were visible in several seating areas.

Came to Luigi's specifically for their Sunday Brunch all you can eat Buffet. Can't think of another place in Santa Rosa offering a breakfast buffet. I've never been to Luigi's before though I know it's been there for many years. For the brunch buffet they had a variety of eggs, pancakes, French toast, waffles, potatoes, breakfast burritos, rice, beans, bacon, sausage, Mexican meats, fresh fruit, and parfaits. I arrived at the start of the buffet so the line was full and fresh. It was neatly laid out on the front counter bar. If you like options and all you can eat it is satisfactory. It was $22, almost the same cost of a breakfast plate elsewhere. Beverages are not included. It would be great if they had some pastry options (muffins/danish) or a couple sweets to complete the buffet experience. Service was quick and friendly. It doesn't seem that their brunch buffet is widely advertised as it wasn't very busy during my visit.

Went to dinner here by myself on a whim. The place has been there half my life and I've only eaten there once. Waitress was less the friendly, I ordered a bacon burger well done and asked for the fries to also be well done. I got a burger that was medium rare and the fries were barely cooked. The yelp description said "large servings and affordable". That was from 9 years ago just like the menu on yelp is. The new description should be small servings, high price, meh service It's always a rub when you don't get what you asked for and when the vibe is one that it's u comfortable to say anything about it. I ate the burger and fries and left the waitress a generous tip, I hope it made her feel like she should treat the next guy like me with a little more courtesy. I did like that the Futbol championship game was on one tv and the 9ers was on the other.

Fried Chicken was good. But unfortunately the chicken parm was beyond abysmal. Tasted like canned sauce with little to no salt or seasoning.

    Bad meat

I have always loved Luigi's Liver and Onions. Tonight I ordered it plus Zucchini Sticks. The Zucchini and the Liver and Onions smelled funny. I ate a few Zucchini sticks and they just did not taste right. My stomach is churning. The liver was green. Wish I could post a photo.

Thank you team for having such a welcoming environment. My son Henry and I went to Luigi's today as I used to go when I was his age. The customer service is top notch and the food is amazing. We both had the breakfast buffet and everything was fresh. We will be back

I had a Mexican style breakfast. Service was quick and friendly. Food was fresh and well organized. Prices very fair.

Spanish Omelet with crispy home fries on the side - DELICIOUS.

Not only was I satisfied, I am exhilarated to report the expertly seasoned flavor, golden crisp texture and assortment of syrups, fruit and whipped cream all played a role in this master piece. Bonus - there's no risk of cross contamination because gf is the only option. Excellent choice. The Santa Rosa omelette had me at the goat cheese (one of my favorite combinations is eggs and goat cheese) but the chicken sausage was the star of the show. Chilaquiles with red and green salsa was perfection, too. The texture of the chips was on point; it is a HUGE serving, easily 2.5 meals a bit sooo good. Hashbrowns are insanely delicious and perfectly seasoned - no salt needed! Chai made expertly by our server was the best we've ever had z no notes. Cold brew w/their house made vanilla syrup was splendid!! Syrup was also great on the waffle.

We made a reservation for noon, but still waited over 20 minutes just to be seated. The restaurant was packed, with a cute interior, although it was smaller than I expected and had extremely limited outdoor seating. We were able to order relatively quickly, but the service was slow overall. Our food took about 40 minutes to arrive, which seemed especially long for a fairly simple order. I ordered the huevos rancheros with both green and red salsa. The green salsa was okay, but I didn't care for the red, and the dish itself was bland and definitely needed some salt. My husband ordered a basic breakfast, which was fine but also needed more seasoning. The hash browns were probably the best part of the meal. Unfortunately, given all the hype, we expected more. While the atmosphere is cute, the long wait, slow service, and underwhelming food made the experience disappointing. I don't see us going back anytime soon.

On the wall was a chalkboard with the list of local farmers and vendors that they used to supply their restaurant. I loved how fresh and flavorful all the food was, but I loved their collaboration with small local business owners to provide them with things like eggs and dairy. I had an omelette with spinach, caramelized, tomatoes, chicken sausage, and goat cheese. This was one of the most delicious bites I've had at a breakfast spot in a long time. We also shared an order of beignets that came with some fresh apple butter, which was to die for! It felt like taking a bit off fall weather if that makes sense. My boyfriend had some biscuits and country gravy with a side of sausage and fried eggs. He loved everything that he ate as well. He also had a bloody Mary, which was made with Soju. The flavor and quality was top notch and you hardly missed the vodka from the drink. Our server was very friendly, and he offered some insight into the quality of the Soju and the vendors that they work with. I just really loved the care that this restaurant put into not only service but the food that they're producing.

We ordered huevos rancheros with orange juice, and a caprese sandwich with a side of soup. The eggs were tasty, but it wasn't very hearty. I was hungry again within an hour. Lots of colorful sauce arranged around the dish, most of it wasted. The sandwich had the aoli, even though The Wife asked for it without. The sandwich was hearty, but kind of a mess. Assembled like someone wanted to leave. The space is attractive, with interesting local art on the walls, but frankly the prices ($20 for the eggs, $27 for the sandwich, $7 for a small juice) were out of line.

We weren't overly hungry but wanted to try it. The prices were pretty steep for a beer $12, and the cocktail was VERY expensive $19 after tax. Hubs decided not to order the beer but insisted I try a fancy drink so I decided on the unicorn after recommendation from our waitress. The drink was pleasantly good, not too sour or too sweet, however definitely not worth the price. Then we decided on a small bites, skillet prawns. The wait wasn't too long. We took a bite each and we were so confused at the odd flavor. It tasted like latex gloves and cleaner. Hubs tried a a second small bite of another one and spit it out. We probably shouldn't have stopped. Our waitress was really nice about it and offered to get us a new one or something else or a dessert, but we declined. She ended up taking it off the bill. Maybe skip the drinks and order a pizza.

When the food finally arrived, the chicken schnitzel was dry, overcooked, and tasted like it had spent far too long sunbathing under a heat lamp. Once our food was delivered, our waitress performed her most impressive trick of the afternoon: disappearing completely. My water ran out about 10 minutes into battling the Sahara schnitzel and was never refilled--which felt especially cruel considering that entrée required its own hydration plan. To give credit where it's due, the Crimson Revelry cocktail was absolutely delicious, and the fries were very good. Sadly, neither could rescue the rest of the experience. Between the painfully slow service, the vanishing waitress, and the schnitzel that left me both disappointed and dehydrated, I can't see myself ever going back. Grossman's? More like "Gross, man."
