    I love WAGZ!! This place has been great throughout the years even through multiple relocations. I have had my dogs come to Angela since I can remember. My dogs and I have been treated with respect, care and amazing dog cuts each visit. She does the most for her client and will always put the pet first in all situation. She provided care for rescue pets, special needs dogs, and unaltered dogs where in most cases not any grooming shop will accept these dogs. She will forever be the only groomer I will take my pets to. LOVE YOU ANGELA AND YOUR TEAM

    Paw-some service! This was my first time here and I'm absolutely mutts about them! They let me in on a last minute appointment and left my baby girl looking fetch-ing. She went in looking quite ruff and I got her back feeling im-paw-sibly soft! Y'all really gave her a trans-fur-mation. The little bandana was such a treat! I purchased their meal mixers as well - my little one is definitely a happy pupper. And bonus? Their team is sweeter than pudding. Overall, a furry good job, and we shall be back!

    "Wagz" v. "To transform a dog from its filthy, dirty, ragged, shaggy, potato-smelling vibe into a precious, fragrant, expertly coiffed canine." Yeah. That's what it means. Angela - headmistress of Wagz - is the Cesár Milán of dog groomers. Uppity pups like our Riley are calmed in her presence and made malleable for the bathing and clipping session of their lives. Good doggies even get a lolli-pup at the end. Riley isn't a good doggie. He's Cujo on crack. But somehow, in Angela's hands, he becomes Bambi on quaaludes. When done, his style is impeccable, his coat - gorgeous and he's as clean as a whistle. BTW ~ No, she doesn't drug the dogs... she just has a magical way with them. "Curbside" dropoff and pickup during the covid. Mask up and bring your pal in for a grooming... your dream dog is just a Wagz away.

    We live in the neighborhood so we'd walked and driven past Wagz multiple times while running errands, but when it came time to take our 5-month-old puppy for her first grooming appointment, we immediately checked Yelp for reviews. Let's just say the reviews for Wagz are glowing for a reason! Angela was so helpful - from the initial phone call to meeting for the first time for River's appointment! She was so sweet and caring - really making sure our pup was comfortable before starting the grooming service. They also don't have cages - only cute playpens - which makes for a really nice experience for the dogs! River was done in a flash and looked so fresh and clean! Angela even walked her out of the salon and into the car to make sure our puppy stayed comfortable the entire time - talk about amazing service :) We will definitely be going back when it's time for River's next appointment and will refer anyone to Angela and her team. Thank you, Wagz!! :)

    If you are looking for the BEST groomer in LA County, stop the hunt! I feel so blessed I got a referral to WAGZ . We moved from Sacramento last year and haven't been able to find a local groomer for one of our Shih Tzus. Monty is 8, and loved grooming until 4 years ago when he was traumatized at a groomer, and has been aggressive with a groomer ever since. We actually have taken him back to Sacramento a few times to the one groomer that didn't insist we drug him first. I dropped by to meet Angela a couple of days before our appointment. An instant connection. I knew instantly she was a groomer we could trust. Her manner, compassion and professionalism are exceptional. I was almost in tears when I picked up our pups. He seemed transformed - confident and happy. Angela's methods are a cut above - I will never take my dogs anywhere else. I am confident Angela will win Monty's trust. The before pictures, and the confident little gentleman that came home with me today say all you need to know. Consider yourself lucky if WAGZ has an opening.

    I'm hesitant to write this review because we want to keep Angela, who owns WAGZ, all to ourselves. We have a 5 lb mini Shih Tzu named Henry, whose hair grows very fast. Angela at WAGZ is hands down the BEST dog groomer we've ever been to and we'll continue to use WAGZ until her doors are closed (which we hope is never!!!). Not only are Angela's cuts always super cute, meticulous, and consistent, but she also uses great-smelling hypoallergenic shampoo and conditioner. We do the full package with ear hair clean up, sanitary cut, nails, bath, shampoo, condition, and cut, which is reasonably priced. His nails are actually trimmed and ear hairs thoroughly cleaned up. She's also cage free and uses doggie gates instead! More importantly, she's a dog whisperer from another planet. She's always super gentle with Henry. Case in point, every time we pick him up, he's happy, not shaking, and gives Angela goodbye licks. For comparison, my husband and I were temporarily in Seattle and had to use a different groomer there. Every time we left the Seattle groomer, Henry was shaking, had a choppy and uneven haircut all over his face and body, ear hair and nails weren't well trimmed, and he was nowhere near as fluffy and cute. The Seattle groomer said it was because he was fidgety, but we always heard the opposite from Angela at WAGZ, our vet, and from Henry's eye doctor. We were so happy to be back in LA, as Angela at WAGZ helped fix him back to his normal, happy, floofy self. He's happy every time he sees Angela, and we are, too. Only tip is to make sure you leave a voicemail when making an appointment. Angela will always call you back, though it may be later in the day or the following day.

    I'm a new puppy owner and consistently try to make sure I do right by my little pup. I was super hesitant to take him to a groomer and have only washed him myself at home. My boyfriend found WAGZ and I took my pup to his appointment where the store owner/groomer greeted us. She had high energy and loved on my pup a bit before taking him back. One thing I really liked was that they didn't keep the animals in cages. Each animal has their own playpen for them to wait in during its appointment. She then directed me to the pet store next door that's attached to the grooming salon. Seven, who runs the store was super knowledgeable and walked me through the different food and treat offerings they carry and didn't pressure me into buying anything that day. Kilo's grooming took about 1.5 hours and he looked SOO CUTE after his appointment. We went for a teddy bear cut. My favorite part was that he was COMPLETELY dry when we got him (I have when dogs are returned to you not fully dry). Kilo was happy - and for his first professional grooming appt., he seemingly had no adverse reaction. We'll be back =)

    Took my buddy Kilo over to get a cut since he hasn't had one being a puppy. We were very hesitant about trying to choose a place because a lot of groomers. Want to shave your dog instead of working with them. The owner was incredibly friendly and did a lot of great work to make sure that he was super fresh and had a great haircut. I would definitely go back, and I loved how they have a mini store connected to the groomer which allows you to get fun, toys, treats, and much more to take care of your buddy.

    WAGZ has a professional team and Angela was very helpful. This was our first time at WAGZ, I loved the dogs are in pens and not in cages. I know Our dogs would feel comfortable in either but they are so easy going a pen is perfect. They both had grown so much hair from March to the end of May. They needed a grooming appointment quickly. Our usual groomer was booked for four weeks already. Angela graciously for us in one day. We dropped the dogs off. Angela came to our car and she took one dog at a time. I shared with her their personalities, grooming needs and quirky behavior. She shared she takes pictures and will share with us. She will call with any updates and when they are completely done and ready for pick up. There is parking in a very large area if needed. If you want to hang around, there are many restaurants, a staples, etc or You can run errands and Angela will call you. Missus and Roadie looked amazing and she really kept The shape we wanted for each of them. She shared that they were angels and I was right in the they do not like their faces touched. We will return with the dogs. They came out happy and were happy to see us. They both were great. Angela gave us a report and pictures. I will share the before and after pictures. Angela volunteers with a local dog shelter. She is giving back to the community. It was a good doggy spa/grooming day! Here are the before and after pictures. You can see how fluffy both are before Angela gave them hair cuts and groomed them.. I recommend WAGZ. Friendly, cafe free, professional, friendly, and truly animal people. Angela was very helpful with my husband to coordinate everything and very friendly when we arrived. My main concern is that the dogs were happy... ears cleaned, nails done, cuts so they remained looking like Affenpinschers, they could see and the hair was no longer in their mouths. Love you are close to home. Thank you WAGZ! We will se you soon and I recommend several other dogs to you.

    Used to be great! But not as of late…read more I've been bringing pets here for a decade. I used to bring my late grandpa's dogs here too (Jack & Oreo RIP). This was the place I trusted with my fur babies, and it was great, until it got weird. My eight-year-old Pomeranian has been seeing Kat since he was a puppy. Kat is the only person I trusted well enough to take care of him (and my recent rescue). Pampered Tails reached out to me in October because they could see in their system I was looking for an appointment. I thought that was nice, so I asked for Kat's availability. They told me that she doesn't work weekends (which is why I was unable to book online), but they could set me up with a different groomer. The whole reason I came here was specifically so my kids could see Kat. I started a new job, so the only time I could go lately was on the weekend. Accordingly, I waited to get my holiday office schedule, and on November 7th I made an appointment for Tuesday, December 24 at 9am with Kat (because it was available), and Pampered Tails confirmed it. On December 19 they texted me saying Kat wasn't available as scheduled, and they could offer me a different groomer. I asked for Kat's next availability. They gave me 12/30 at 10:05am, which I gladly accepted. I got an appointment confirmation text on 12/27. On 12/30 at 8:05am (yes, two hours before my appointment) I got a text saying Kat was feeling unwell, wouldn't be coming in that day, and needed to reschedule. I understood illness can come out of nowhere, so I asked for Kat's next availability. They responded with 1/14, and that's where they lost me. I had been trying in earnest to get an appointment with Kat since October; I planned so that my work schedule aligned with Kat's, I rescheduled my original appointment, and then the soonest they could get me in (after cancelling my appointment within two hours of that appointment) was another two weeks later. I could have perhaps even been consoled if they had made any sincere show of effort to get me in with Kat asap, but no. Not even so much as "we will call if any of her appointments cancel." It would have been great for them to proactively try to accommodate my twice-rescheduled appointment with Kat sooner than two weeks later, but they didn't. I'm certainly left with the impression that Pampered Tails doesn't want my business, or wanted to steer me away from Kat, or both. In all cases it's too bad because I liked (and more importantly) trusted them for years, but after this, I give up. Your turn - if you can get an appointment.

    Outstanding Customer Service at Petco Store 910!…read more I had such an amazing experience at Petco Store 910 on Sepulveda, and I wanted to take a moment to recognize Gabriel, Richard, and Vanessa for going above and beyond. I came into the store with my busy and energetic daughter, Nylaya, looking to start our first GloFish aquarium. We had a lot of questions, and from the moment we walked in, they were patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. They helped us pick out four beautiful GloFish, all of the supplies we needed, and took the time to explain everything so we could properly care for our new pets. What impressed me the most was how friendly and welcoming they were to my daughter. Gabriel, the manager, even gave Nylaya a free gift, which absolutely made her day. It was such a thoughtful gesture and showed how much they truly care about their customers. Unfortunately, I later had an accident with my fish and was devastated. When I returned to the store, Gabriel, Richard, and Vanessa once again went above and beyond. They helped me get replacement fish and additional supplies, answered even more questions, and made sure I felt confident moving forward. They treated me with kindness instead of judgment and genuinely wanted to help. To top it all off, they even helped carry my supplies out to my car. In today's world, it's rare to find customer service this exceptional. Their professionalism, patience, compassion, and willingness to help turned what could have been a stressful experience into a positive one. Thank you, Gabriel, Richard, and Vanessa, for making both me and Nylaya feel valued and cared for. We will definitely continue shopping at Petco Store 910 and highly recommend this location to anyone looking for knowledgeable staff and outstanding customer service. 10/10 experience. Five stars all the way!
