This place is a winner! I was a first timer, and experienced terrific customer service. The gal at the front showed me how to use all the gadgets and everything you need to wash your pup is available. There is plenty of stations. I was worried about not having to make an appt, but it didn't matter, as we waited 5 min. They also made time in their busy place to clip my pup's nails. I will definitely be returning. Please visit them for a pet wash. Oh ya, they have delicious dog treats. Mine gobbled the jerky.

I usually groom my large standard Goldendoodle myself, but this time I needed additional help because he got into the way of a skunk and the odor was not coming out. Isaac and The Pet Wash to the rescue! This was my first time and I never knew how easy it could be to groom. I usually spend at least 3 to 4 hours for Buddy's bath and dry. With the supplies at The Pet Wash it took me less than an hour!!! Buddy will be getting all his baths here from now on! Thank you Isaac for your help and patience with the skunk deodorizer too!

We were looking for a pet groomer that could wash, cut and trim toe nails to our border terrier before we took him camping. We called pet wash and they estimated a price $90 for 1 hour. Our concern was possible picking up fleas and ticks at the camp site due to his long hair. We needed a short hair cut for our dog. After their grooming care to our puppy, we were pleasantly surprised how good he looked and the price was more than reasonable $65. The main reason we come to this self-wash location is because of the soap pump, which makes washing our large dog much quicker and easier. Unfortunately, when we visited today the soap pump wasn't working from the start, which made the wash take significantly longer. Because of that, we had to add extra time that cost an additional $10. When I mentioned the issue, the employee in charge questioned what happened to the pump as if we had broken it, even though it was already not working when we started. While she eventually removed the charge, the interaction felt rude and accusatory. She also mentioned she would be removing the pump entirely, which was disappointing since it's the main reason we choose this location. Overall, the experience left us feeling blamed for something that wasn't our fault.This place has always been 5 stars worthy until this interaction. read more

I love this place. It's so easy to take my dog to the dog park down the street and let her get filthy and then take her here. The staff is so friendly and they have everything you need there so you don't have to trash your own bathroom or break your back. Prices are super reasonable too. read more

The customer service there was absolutely wonderful. It was my first time there taking my Yorkie and Marlene, who groomed my dog, took me to the back showed me around asked me what I wanted to have done and called me within one hour. We regularly get our dog groomed here, normally great. We cancelled one apt and the required us to give a card for a deposit. I read all of the details the the store employee over the phone and the next day it was used for a $900 phone bill in Dallas. Funny thing is is the card that was used was an authorized user card that hadn't been used for anything else. Be careful with this place, I understand it's family owned which is great. But dork take advantage of your guests. read more

Washing for my big furry Akita is so much easier with the waist high tubs and spray hoses. I use the double blow dryer to remove excess water and she comes out clean and fluffy. Staff is friendly and helpful. read more

The Pet Wash is fabulous! It's a great vibe for a very skittish German Shepherd! I have been taking my anxious dogs here for years and they've always done a great job. It's not easy to find a trustworthy groomer, and I'm grateful that their prices are reasonable for LA. There are a lot of groomers out there who dont know what they're doing or lack the patience and compassion to ensure your dog has a safe experience that isn't traumatizing or harmful. Everyone at The Pet Wash knows what they're doing and does it with compassion. Why do other groomers need to take your dog behind closed doors and keep them in a cage? My dogs are my world and I wouldn't take then anywhere else. read more

A recent discovery how much easier it is to take the fur kids to a dog wash instead of trying to navigate it from a bath tub at home. The ladies here are lovely and kind! The private stalls are perfect! Worth EVERY PENNY! Little ladders make it super easy for the dogs to get into the tub, and they had all the "fixins" for a dog wash. read more

My first time at pet wash its was cute how they have a lil private room for my yelling hell furry baby they have options for shampoos the Cashier was helpful and caring of my baby giving me advice on how to clean her ears and to cover them so no water would go inside. The best part the dog park is just down the street after Audrey my baby finished playing finished getting dirty this is a great location to shower them. I live up north but grew up in SoCal so anytime I am in the neighborhood with my bozos, I make sure to visit The Pet Wash in El Segundo for a self wash. The self wash they provide is the best that I have been to hands down! I have two small-ish pups so I am able to wash them together in a room and TPW supplies every single thing we need to get the job done. The staff is always SO nice and helpful. The price point is beyond fair and the time limit they set is very generous. I recommend TPW to all my SoCal/South Bay friends and family. read more

We asked for her honest opinion about whether 15-minute or 30-minute visits would be more appropriate for Harper, and we really appreciated that she gave us thoughtful, unbiased advice based on his needs rather than simply recommending the longer visit. That honesty gave us a great deal of confidence that Harper's well-being was always the priority. Our sitter, Lindsay, was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, caring, and clearly took the time to get to know Harper rather than simply stopping by to complete a checklist. The updates after each visit were one of our favorite parts of the service. We received thoughtful notes and videos by text after every visit. We especially appreciated that everything came through text rather than requiring a separate app. The communication was outstanding and gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were away. We genuinely looked forward to Lindsay's notes and videos after each visit. Her thoughtful updates let us follow Harper's progress throughout our trip, and it was wonderful to see him become more and more comfortable with her. When she told us he had even let her pick him up, we knew just how much trust he had developed. When we arrived home, Harper was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Lindsay even left us a thoughtful handwritten note and drawing, which was such a sweet personal touch. We couldn't have asked for a better first experience with a professional pet sitter. We will absolutely use this service again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, compassionate in-home pet care.

My 4-year-old cocker spaniel, Bentley, is very energetic and hates being bathed. I resulted to trying to do it myself and it was difficult. After trying different places that couldn't handle him, I gave up. The Pet Wash was recommended by a client that they will be able to handle him. I didn't try them right away, but I'm so happy that I finally did. Carlos was his groomer and did a fantastic job, from the time Bentley was introduced to him. Carlos was able to see Bentley behavior and knew that he was not a threat. And was able to get him in a somewhat calm state. He guaranteed me that he would be able to do the job and he did. Unfortunately, I have to give this place a one-star rating. I've been here several times, but my most recent visit will definitely be my last. When I picked up my dog, I specifically asked how everything went, and the groomer assured me that everything was fine. However, I later discovered that my dog had multiple cuts from the clippers near his private area. I'm not here to publicly shame anyone, so I decided to reach out to The Pet Wash directly. I was promised a call from the owner, instead, I received a call asking for "proof." I wasn't even trying to get a refund; I simply wanted the business to acknowledge that their staff had injured my dog and failed to mention it. I took my dog here for the first time, two weeks ago. I paid $35 to have her washed and nails clipped. When I picked my dog up, they hadn't clipped her nails because they claimed it would've made her bleed. Then told me they had to scrub her ear because it was dirty, I looked at her ear and it was raw and very red. After two weeks, the redness has increased and her ear is now infected. It cost me $400 at a vet to handle her ear infection. Can I make a suggestion and never ever use this dog groomer unless you enjoy half service and huge vet bills. read more

I saw a coupon on google for this place so I tried it. I have a Great Dane who hates baths. The people here helped me get Ralphie into the tub and showed me how to use everything. The shampoo and conditioner came out with the water. The oatmeal shampoo and conditioner were included in the price ($15) I pay extra at every other place. They gave me a bunch of samples of some grainfree dog foods and turned me on to their natural flea control that is not a poison like the ones I been using. Thanx guys! read more

Hey I always hate to spend money getting my tiny dog groomed. But as i'm sure many of you husbands out there know. That doesn't always matter. As far as getting it done goes however. The Pet Wash is a pretty cool place. Reasonably priced, they are always done on time, and it might just be me but some times i feel like my little terror doesn't mind being dragged there as much as she does some of the other groomers we have visited in the past. read more

I feel very comfortable bringing my pet hare. I want there on a monthly basis for the self-service bathing of my dog. They bathed and dried my pet very carefully. I really liked their service . They complete their work in a very short time. The staff are helpful and friendly and provide efficient service. I really like their service. My 10 months old Shih/Tzu mix puppy is very happy. We had his first hair cut here, and he's enjoyed the experience without being traumatized.
