Now my daughter is sick and I don't feel so hot, my wife just tossed her food because she didn't want to take the chance. I rarely leave poor reviews for any business (you can see for yourself). What topped this whole event was the 3% surcharge if you don't pay with cash. With a debit car it is illegal in the state of New Jersey to tac on that surcharge. Please believe the low reviews. The smell of their food is incredibly deceiving. The chicken is bland. The teriyaki chicken was bland, literally no taste at all. The interior looked freshly cleaned, new furniture leaving for folks to dine in. The food was fresh, full of flavor, reasonably priced. Rip-offs. Called to order for pickup, wasn't given a receipt, only to find out they overcharged for the two items I ordered. Called them up to ask and gave me prices that are waaaay different from what's on their online order menu. Gen Tso's Chicken photo attached. You would think you'd get half chicken, half rice. Nope. There's rice under the chicken to make it look like there's a lot more chicken than there really is. Lady says this is $10.50. It's not. Other photo is the chicken wings with "pork fried rice" that supposedly costs $9.35, according to the lady. Their menu says this should only be $7.40. Also, I don't see any pork on the rice. So I have to give a shout out to Wah Sing (Chinese Take out). Winter Storm Stella, March 14, 2017 eastern sea board. Emergency Travel only and these Guys were out delivering food to those of us trapped at the Hotel, while every other place was closed. Awesome! We ordered way too much food as always but at least we will have some for later. Because you are always hungry an hour later right? Food came fast, but they are only 2 miles away and no traffic.... Food was good and hit the spot. Not sure what are total bill came to because I didn't have to pay. read more

Believe the reviews! Ordered a large boneless spare ribs and they gave me a small. They were so salty and gross! Told me I could come in to exchange it. Um that's why I had it delivered! I share many of the same opinions I've read here. The people here are very rude and quite frankly don't care about their customers. They charge 75 cents extra for credit card charges under $10.00. Their kids are always there running around and being loud. The place is always dirty and greasy. Far from clean. The food is ok. I've had way better. I will be looking for other Chinese food places to go to. I hope the owners read these reviews and change how they do things but I don't think that will happen. So to conclude, this place SUCKS !!!!! Absolute worst service I've ever received at a restaurant before. I ordered delivery and it took an hour and 15 minutes to arrive to me and was never told it was going to take as long or even apologized to for the wait. I called after 40 minutes of not receiving it to be told the delivery driver was leaving the restaurant, I am not located that far from the restaurant. After 20 minutes I call again to be told the delivery driving is just leaving again. The lady I spoke with was very rude and not helpful at all and cut me short while I was trying to ask where my food was and hung up the phone one me. Not only is their customer service horrible but also expensive, I paid $20 for 1 combo order never once have I paid that much for Chinese food that was mediocre to say the least. This is the worse Chinese restaurant I have ever been to! The service was terrible. The girl behind the counter wouldn't crack a smile if you paid her. She didn't even greet us. We ordered 1 order of sesame chicken and an order of wings (4) One bottle of water and a can or Soda. The total bill was $21.19. I almost fainted. I had to downsize the plate to a lunch special. ($17.36) The picture below looks like a big portion but looks are deceiving. They serve you in a small paper plate. The wings were over cooked in old oil and the "to stay" portion was tiny. I could of gone to the Imperial dynasty right up the road (a sit down Chinese restaurant) and paid $20 for 2 full meals and great service. Stay away from this place. This place was meant more for take out than a sit in dinner. I have no qualms against the quality of food - I find it perfectly delicious and standard for Chinese take out. It satisfies my cravings. The restaurant itself has minimal sitting arrangements and silverware. We had plastic utensils and styrafoam plates. It was clean and the staff were quite accomodating for the fact they focus mostly on delivering. Delivery is quite timely and I have never had a bad experience with them. The person on the phone was rude and kept trying to sell me things I did not want. They were unyielding with their orders changes. The delivery guy was nice enough, which is why it got a third star. (meanwhile I placed ahead of time so I could pick it up on the way to work.) so I ordered dumplings and they said it would be about 2 mins. of course almost 10 mins later its ready. i hand back my card and the woman goes "no discover. they charge me $10 for your $15". so like I waited all that time to be told I can't pay??? so i dig and find a visa. i'm a broke college student with no cash and I asked for my Ramapo discount (10% - I'm up to $18 already). As a college student, I order a bit of takeout. I have ordered from here as have my friends probably near 50 times. Last year they would even come to our door in a res hall whereas most places wouldn't even do that, almost every weekend we would get their menus shoved under our doors. Marketing at its finest. Too bad its an absolute scam. I haven't been there in person, but reading these in-person perspectives is not even surprising. My last Wah Sing experience was pure, utter, TRASH. We ordered food for about 4 people. Food came about 45 minutes late, cold, and crappy. We normally actually enjoy their food, especially for the price- not too too bad. But wow it was HORRIBLE. Manager YELLED at me on the phone, told me the driver had left already when they clearly hadn't. Stated that since he told me they were busy I basically should've expected my food to be cold. I can't believe this manager would yell at a customer like that. He must be reading his reviews because he lashes out at any bad critiquing, sorry Wah Sing, you probably won't be around much longer. I must admit the food quality gas been sliding downhill for a while now. However last night Iit hit what I could only hope was rock bottom. I used to love the boneless sparerib combo which seemed like it was more like a pork cutlet prepared like a Sparerib and sliced which was fine by me. ( as opposed to other places that look like red plastic shoelaces that they dip in sweet and sour sauce and call boneless spareribs.) But last night I ordered the boneless Sparerib combo and scallion pancakes. What I got was something that resembled the trimmings and scraps from pork drenched in sweet & sour sauce to make it barely edible (not to mention horribly overcooked) and half raw pancakes which were slimy and grossly undercooked with some diced scallions and onions thrown on top. Bland tasteless rice, and no duck sauce. I have been a long time regular customer here and I am seriously thinking it's time to find a new Chinese take put place. read more

I have been ordering here for years at least 10 years. Food is pretty good but service has gone down hill. Now they started charging service fees if you use credit card over the phone, they never use to do that...only couldn't charge if it was less than $10. Now their delivery times ate getting worse and worse. Happened to me and my parents house so not just one time. From me they delivered wrong food and had to come back but firatvasked if I wanted to come get it myself. Then I was told 20 min for delivery. Called almost hour later said he was on way..20 min later not here and they are literally a 3 minute drive from me (I could not get to them). When I questioned the girl she just says very busy not sympathetic no compensation like next time you come in egg rolls on is Eric. Just said on his way and hung up. I never like to write reviews as all companies have a bad day but this time it was just a one time thing it was a 3 time for me not including parents. We stayed overnight in a nearby hotel and placed an order to be delivered to us. I placed the order online using a credit card. The restaurant called back and told me my credit card didn't go through (it's a card I use frequently and this is the first time this has happened), and that I would have to pay cash. The food arrived promptly and wasn't bad. However, we were supposed to get egg rolls with our meals and we didn't get them. I called back and they told me they were quite certain they had included the egg rolls with our meals. I assured them I didn't have the egg rolls. The only reason I am giving them a star is because there is not an option for zero. This is the very first negative review I have ever felt compelled to write but my experience was simply AWFUL. I called in, for pick up, a small order of chicken lo mein and a small soup. This dish usually runs $4.50-$6 everywhere and is packed in a small container. I had $9 cash on me. At the register, they tell me my order is $9.99 (!!) I apologize for needing to use a card but that I am a dollar short. The cashier proceeds to bark at me "Then you pay .75 more!" which I embarrassingly agreed to and then watched her tax the additional charge. I am in retail and realize credit card companies take 1% of a sale- I also always look to avoid charging for small amounts--but, when pressed have to and have NEVER heard of such an excessive charge to cover. I've also never been spoken to like that upon paying by a store owner. Having left with a bad taste for the service, I got in my car to drive home and noticed liquid spilling within the bag. At the first light, I looked in and saw that they never lidded the soup so it had spilled half of its contents all over the other food. The other food being the most minuscule portion of noodles I had ever seen, packed in a miniature tin container. All for the $8.00+ they had the nerve to charge for the small. This place is never clean, has an unfriendly staff, and employees' kids running all over it at any given time. Their counter is lined with bundles of items that are, by nature, included at all Chinese restaurants for free (crunchy noodles, sauces, etc) but, here, have price tags of .50 a $1.00 for each. Such an awful impression this place leaves---from the service to the atmosphere to the food....I heavily advise against dining here. Terrible. read more

I won't be going to Wah Sing ever again. First off, the food is average at best. There is nothing about this food that the other 5 Chinese food menus in my drawer in the area cannot provide. Wah Sing HATES taking credit but they won't just go CASH ONLY. They make up all of these bogus rules at the counter which is straight up FRAUD and ILLEGAL. 10$ minimum apparently for credit and if you are under they charge you an extra 3$ to make up for it... I clipped a coupon from the Menu and went to use it and the miserable woman at the counter told me "cash only". Nowhere on the coupon did it say Cash only on it. I asked her and she just straight up ignored me and acted like she didn't speak English. Instead of trying to gain a customer who would come back, she ADDS the three dollars back on my bill!!!! She was completely rude and obnoxious. I have never seen a business establishment be so cheap and stingy. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The only reason they are even still in business is because they own the laundromat next door. read more
