Went to Wahoo during a vacation in the Smoky Mountains. This was our favorite part of our entire trip! Mitch, one of our tour guides, was the best! He was funny and helpful! Went on the 3:00 zipline today and the crew was great. This was our second time ziplining in the area and our first at Wahoo. It went by way too fast. Be prepared to do a little walking between lines - we weren't ready for that but they have cold water waiting for you before you do the 5th line. And if there is one tip to offer its book earlier in the day - it starts to get pretty humid and hot this time of day. The welcome center is nice and clean and the ac bus that takes you to the first line is nice and comfy. Good time and with the great coupon we found it's a great value! read more

Taylor and James were fantastic! My first zip line experience and I truly hope I have other experiences elsewhere as fun as this pair! Their personalities are great and they explained everything concisely and efficiently. We ended up in a large group and things moved right along despite the large number of people. JUNE 8th was the day of our girl excursion... Celebrating my sisters birthday... from the time we entered to confirm our reservation until we finished zip lining it was such a great experience. I was completely afraid. Not of heights but of falling and lines snapping or wtvr. However in my group there was an older lady she was the grandma and she literally said you're not going to let me show you up are ya? I was still scared but after the first jump my nerves instantly calmed down. Harrison and Kayden (hope I spelled your name right kayden/cayden) were our zipline guides and they were super phenomenal. Had a great time on my visit to Tennessee coming to Wahoo. Mitch & Christian were our zip line guides and these guys were hysterical. Nonstop laughter. There's 6 lines, and the first one is pretty high and long but once you get passed that one you gain so much confidence going forward to the other ones. We are staying in one of the cabins behind Wahoo. While driving back to our cabin, one of the Wahoo buses nearly T-boned us gunning it out of a gravel road coming from the last zip line. Wonderful experience! The drive up the mountain was beautiful, the staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about everything they do and the owner was a wealth of knowledge about the area. The adventure and zip line trails were well laid out, long lines, incredible views and we felt very safe and comfortable with the guides. My fiance and I just went here on Saturday and had a great time. Tickets were $89 each but we found a coupon online for $14 off. The staff was great, really friendly, informative and most importantly, we felt completely safe the entire time. I was very nervous at the beginning but after we finished the first line, I loved it! There are 6 lines and although I think the site says it lasts 2 hours, we were done after 1 hour. The views are great and everything is very sturdy and secure. I really liked the fact that the group you go with is so small, only 14 people. There is a little bit of hiking to do but nothing too bad. We had a lot of fun and are glad we did it, but probably would not go again only because it was pretty expensive for the hour we were there. read more

The worst place to take your kids and thinking they will take care of them. They dont show you how to slow down and what to do before the end the line. They speak with really bad English and good luck understanding anything. Not not not for kids or first timers. This was my first zipline experience and I was worried. I'm not really scared of heights, but I was still nervous. I didn't think that I would do anything but hold on and scream. First off, you're in an assembly line to get your harness, gloves, and helmet, which made me a little uneasy. However, they have two people.check your harness and then check it again before your first zipline. Overall, I felt VERY safe the entire time. They take a group picture before you start, which is really only neat if you know all the people that are with you. Still kind of a neat memory though. They also take pictures during the zipline tour. They show you the pictures, which are available for sale, at the end of the tour. Anyway, you do multiple zipline that are fast, slow, with another person, and racing. They're fun and the in between time doesn't lag. It's a short walk from one to another, with only one taking a few minutes. It's a bit of a trek but they give you water after the long one. They also help stop you here, which they do not do at other ziplines in the mountains. They only have you assist if you over a certain amount. They gave my husband a glove for braking and taught him to use it (quite simple). He only had to use it when we went together on the second to last zipline. The last two are very quick because you go two at a time. Overall, very safe and fun! read more
